Cons:Pickup wasnt easy I was late only 2hrs because of traffic jam so they said they rented to some on else which was lie and then they try to give me full size car so I agreed and paid more. The person was in charge didnt even walk tthrough and handed me keys as soon as I opened the car door it smelled like pot , I was very upset. I was driving in freeeway the left side of tire started making noise, I called they send me to nearest airport and that took my another 2 hours so I had a very bad day. I asked for area manager phone and they were hasitate to give me made me more upset. I will never ever rent hetz rental car.Reviewed 19 Mar. 2017

Cars not availablePros:I received a call minutes before I went to pick up the car to inform me they did not have the large SUV. They would replace it with an Explorer. I explained to the lady that I owned an SUV so it didn’t make sense to rent if I was getting the smaller SUV. The whole point to rent was to have a large SUV not the same. She called me few hours later to let me know they found one. I was one of the lucky ones! Went I returned the SUV, three clients were being told that they did not have cars. I spoke to one of them and he told me he had been told he had to go to the airport. The three clients were told the same. Two of them had small children! They weren’t even offered a ride to the airport! Your not “exactly” add came to my mind as I witnessed what transpired. I guess I was one since I got the call and gave them the opportunity to find me a vehicle. Thanks, W. Jonas 310-864-2110Cons:The clerk was friendly and courteous. No complaints there. Pros:The priceCons:I was disappointed I didn’t get the car I reserved. Customer service sucks. While doing the paperwork I noticed they were closed on Sunday which is when I was planning on returning the car and I was told just drop off the keys in the box. I then waited almost 30 minutes for them to bring me the car. The attendant gave me the keys and walked off. I then took pictures of existing damage and drove off. At the first traffic light I noticed the fuel tank was only 1/4 full. Not seeing a phone number to call I went back to the office to inquire and was told the fuel level is on the back of the key. I’m now behind schedule as it has taken over an hour to get the car and find a gas station. Super annoyed! Then my son gets into the back seat and cuts his hand on an piece of broken glass!!! Then when I returned the car in realize I had been given no instructions on where to park and the office was closed. Very annoyed with hertz.Reviewed 12 Apr. 2021

Pros:Check in staff very friendly and helpful.Cons:Hours limited, opened at 9AM for drop off. Actually, opened late, was number 4 in line. Clerk was helpful and courteous but late opening put me in time crunch.Reviewed 5 Apr. 2021

Cons:When reserving a car online, it said the Hertz location was open until 6pm. I got there at 5:30, and no one was there. The hotel check in told me they close at 5pm. It needs to be changed online. So I went to a competitor and rented a car there.Reviewed 7 Apr. 2017

Great dealPros:The price was great, easy return, and the employee working was very professional.Cons:I arrived on a Sunday, just after opening to pick up my car there was a line. Only 1 employee was working, and I kept hearing the employee tell everyone that the cars had not been cleaned yet, and it would be an additional 15-20 min. I was in a hurry and took mine without a cleaning. It wasn't too bad on the inside, so it worked out. No other complaints.Reviewed 6 Jun. 2016

Great value and servicePros:The rental car was very affordable . The rental process was quick and easy.Cons:The only issue I had was that I reserved the car for noon because I needed to pick it up on my lunch hour and the location was closed from noon until 1 for lunch which was not noted on the website when I made the reservation. 1st car had terrible odorPros:The second car was fine.Cons:When I picked up my car, the windows were all open. As I drove away, I closed the windows to find a terrible odor. I immediately returned to the dispatcher, who said he was aware of the odor. I had to go back across the street to the office in the hotel in order to get a new car. No carCons:I had set up a car to be rented at a certain time. 30 minutes after projected pickup I showed up at the counter. I was told there would be no car available for 5.5 hours. I was basically told sorry. You will have to deal with it. I called and complained and was told to just wait 30-45 minutes and hopefully a car shows up. One finally did. I proceeded on my way. However when I book a car, I expect it to be there. If I am charged for not picking a car up then they need to make it right when I book a car and one is not there.Reviewed 26 Nov. 2016
