Because we booked through KAYAK, the vehicle that we reserved was not available, but there was no way for us to find that out until we went to the counter. So we had to rent a more expensive model, which was their only availability. I did call them to ask that question, but no one answered the phone. It seems like there are a limited number of staff members running the rental. I wish they had answered the phone.Reviewed 4 Feb. 2023

The car was beautiful and super comfortable. We did have a problem with the gas quantity. We were told that the gas was filled up to 7/8 when it was only 3/4 but showed proof with photos.Reviewed 31 Dec. 2022

When I was making the reservation via kayak, it said, if I pay the total amount due upfront, they would give me $20.00 discount, so I totally paid the amount upfront, but they charged the full amount to my credit card, I tried to call kayak, no luck, sooooooooooo much waste of time to locate somebody!Reviewed 11 Feb. 2022

Pickup was terrible! They did not have any car in my class. Then they said they do have one but at Pep Boy. And I had to wait for ONE HOUR for the car to be delivered to the rental office. I didn’t even think it was cleaned properly. Then I noticed there were big scratches on the car that they never mentioned. I had to call the guy back to show him. Pros:The priceCons:I was disappointed I didn’t get the car I reserved. Customer service sucks. While doing the paperwork I noticed they were closed on Sunday which is when I was planning on returning the car and I was told just drop off the keys in the box. I then waited almost 30 minutes for them to bring me the car. The attendant gave me the keys and walked off. I then took pictures of existing damage and drove off. At the first traffic light I noticed the fuel tank was only 1/4 full. Not seeing a phone number to call I went back to the office to inquire and was told the fuel level is on the back of the key. I’m now behind schedule as it has taken over an hour to get the car and find a gas station. Super annoyed! Then my son gets into the back seat and cuts his hand on an piece of broken glass!!! Then when I returned the car in realize I had been given no instructions on where to park and the office was closed. Very annoyed with hertz.Reviewed 12 Apr. 2021
