Madrid hotels near Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales

Pros: Spacious room, modern hotel, clean property and great location

Cons: 1- Breakfast was limited 2- Prices at the property were too expensive specially the spa treatments 3- Charging hotel guest 5 euros for just entering the spa is not fair

Pros: Staff really good. It is very close to Metro and local bus services and about 25 min by taxi from the airport. Well designed modern hotel. Roof top bar a great feature.

Cons: Would be nice to have the option of a light breakfast- though there is a place close by.

Cons: We had no water in the room for all the second day. My room was premium and we had some drinks as a complimentary but the didn’t refill the bar for more than 24 hours, there were no envelopes to write letters

Pros: We had the nicest welcome/check in experience of any hotel we had ever stayed in. Room was very nice. Bathroom had great disposables, including a comb.

Cons: Massively overrated. Compared to other comparably priced hotels, this was a disappointment. First, we were given a room that smelled of cigarette and cigar smoke. The toilet in our room was broken, as was the TP holder, and the television remote control. The staff was apologetic and promptly moved us to another room room. Apart from that, the accommodations just were not at the level of other similarly priced and rated hotels. We booked based on those ratings and it’s clear to me now that they are inflated and misleading.

Cons: I was on a room facing the street, and although the street was generally quiet, around 8am of each morning a gardener of the property across the street with a very loud blower waked us up. I would avoid the rooms facing the street due to this. I realize this is not the hotel’s fault.

Cons: The staff on reception desk is not informative. No maps were provided. The breakfast is fair, good quantity, but too expensive for the quality. The signal quality of Internet is fair, free if you use you own computer, or with an extra cost of you use their computers and printers.

Pros: very good breakfast: lots of fresh fruit and jamon :) good location in Salamanca district. We booked a special offer with late check-out and free minibar which was great.

Cons: My high evaluation of value for money of this hotel is based on the special offer we booked (80 euros a night with breakfast included). However, when we asked about the price for our next stay in september, we were told the same room would cost 160 euros, which is too much for the amenities you get. In my opinion, this is a good 3stars hotel, but no more than that.

Pros: Outstanding accommodation. Well located hotel for our needs and very near two Metro stations which met all our travel requirements around town. Short ride to all museums, art gallerries etc and short walk to great shopping outlets in Serrano.
