The ABQ airport only has one rep that covers 5 different companies. It would have been nice to know before hand that hertz was coving the dollar rentals.10.0 Wonderful

While most rental car agencies in Albuquerque had no cars available, this site did. The staff at the pickup location were acceptable in handling renting a car with some concerns; at drop off they were very courteous.Cons:

We reserved the car on one credit card and wanted to pay with another, a concept too difficult for the counter person to understand (on pickup). We got it resolved at drop off. LOVED the car (Ford Mustang convertible).10.0 Wonderful

The fellow at pickup could not have been more friendly and helpful. I have no issue with him.Cons:
1st. There was no mention during the online booking of the car that the rental location was not at the airport, despite my flight booking. I took the shuttle from the airport to the car rental center only to be told that my pickup location was a $30 cab ride away.1 1/2 hours would have been saved. 2nd.The car itself was miserable to drive. The alignment was so bad it wouldn't hold the road, it stunk of smoke, and there was an orange abandoned vehicle sticker on the drivers window obstructing view. For some reason I had trouble maintaining an even highway speed and the cruise didn't work. It made my 2 hour drive feel like 5. Driving this car was a white knuckle experience.10.0 Wonderful

Loretta, the lovely lady at the Budget counter who helped us was fantastic. She was patient with us when things got a little stressful and was always polite and shared a few laughs with us when we needed it most! Even when I called in with questions and she was busy she was pleasant and got to us as quickly as possible. Thanks, Loretta!Cons:
Budget’s new payment policies. I feel as though they are quite discriminatory against lower to middle class people who don’t have a credit card limit as high others or the credit that’s needed to pay with a debit card even though we have the money. It’s really embarrassing when these things are pointed out in front of others even though we are working as hard as we can to get through life. Not everyone has certain luxuries that your company demands. We will probably think twice before renting with Budget again.Hertz

Never got the car. I showed up at the airport Hertz and they said that the reservation was made at some other Hertz offsite about 20 minutes from the airport. I had to pay for another car even though I was prepaid. It was not evident when I made the reservation that it was some offsite Hertz location. Waste of money. Will never use Kayak again9.6 Wonderful

I really liked the customer service, I thought both of the ladies at pickup and drop off were excellent customer service reps but that was the only good part of the experience unfortunately.Cons:
I booked a Rav4 or similiar SUV on kayak.com and got a fair price for my trip I thought. However when I turned up to the Albuquerque city location I was told that they did not know how I made the booking... the only vehicle they had left was a toyota Yaris - and I needed the suv because I was transporting posessions in boxes and I had a few bags as well. I was on a deadline so I had to just jam them all in and hope for the best. In the vehicle, once everything was in, the only space left to sit was the drivers seat. Whats more is the car was filthy, inside and out. We did the usual walk around the vehicle and I signed off as being okay. Then I went inside to use the washroom and when I jumped back in the vehicle and started driving I reallised that the gas tank was not full. I drove 6 hours from Albuquerque to Denver being uncomfortable and all I was able to get was 14$ off the original price. All in all, not a very enjoyable experience.Sunnycars
