Pros: 100% satisfied Thanks especially to Anna and Magdalin for kindness and availability See you soon!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The property on the inside was awesome, on the outside... surroundings...I was not impressed.
Cons: 1. We chose this hotel ONLY because the Kayak info said a "hotel shuttle" is available. We wanted to be close to the airport to fly out the next morning. We thought we would save the expense of a taxi to and from the airport. There was no shuttle. When we call the hotel, they told us no such thing as a shuttle. They would only arrange to send me a taxi @ €45.00. And this could only be arranged via email...not over the ph. We simply took a cab to the hotel # €43.00. To the airport the next morning...no shuttle. We took a taxi @ €44.00. If you people do no have a shuttle like we are use to in the US...do not mislead innocent pepole like us. That is false advertising. The availability of a shuttle in the ONLY reason why we picked this hotel. 2. At the front desk I changed out some US$ for € after checking in. We plan to do some last minute shopping before we fly out the next day. What we did not know was that, that very day was a national holiday (the Verging Mary Holiday ) all the stores were closed. On checking out the next morning they would not take back the € currency. I told them that we did not know that there was a holiday. They said they can't take it back. That was just not right. These 2 things has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I am not a happy camper...especially with the shuttle issue. That was flat out wrong. You can't say that there is a shuttle when there is none. People from the US is use to taking a free shuttle ride to and from the airport to hotels and rent a car locstions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is fantastic, hot meals, vegetables, fruits, bakery and many others, staff is super kind and professional, very friendly, solve any questions. Beds are very comfortable, coffee in the rooms tasty, nice aromas in the hotel. Near metro- 2 min walk. Spa is super. They can transfer you from/to hotel. They accomplished our best wish for swimming in dolce attica hotel. That was amazing and very special. In general the hotel is Super. Thanks to Magda and I am very thankful for her hospitality, she helped me in my question. And thanks to George, he was very sweet!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfy and rooms where clean
6.2 Good
Pros: The hotel is fine but the staff of te reception was not polite and helpfull.
Cons: Be more customer oriented!!!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool very much. The location isn't too bad. Metro and taxis easily available on a daily basis. Rooms were average but clean and comfortable.
Cons: The wifi only available in the common area was a big thumbs down. Also it wasn't good connection if more then a few people were on it.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet that was included was very well done. The restaurant and pool on the roof were fantastic as well. Incredible views of the sunset and the city.
Cons: Our only complaints were the small refrigerator in the room barely got cold and when we pulled the cabinet away from the wall to check if it was plugged in, it hadn’t been cleaned back there in years. Absolutely filthy (cigarette butts, debris, dirt). However, if the refrigerator was working properly we would have never known. The rest of the room was very clean. (Carpet was a little rough, but not terrible)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Location near Panormou Metro Station. Excellent Rooms. Excellent Roof Top Bar / Restaurant. Very Good Cost / Benefit Ratio.
Cons: The bathroom needs some renovation. The wifi was slow. The Tv could be hanged on the wall for better view instead on the table.
1.0 Poor
Pros: the beds
Cons: As a usual customer of President last time I wasn’t able to go because the doctor that we was going to see told us that is dangerous for us to travel so I called and ask for my money back, they couldn’t but offered to change the date . fare enough again but when i said the new dates they asked me for extra money which for me is uneceptabol when hotels around the world are doing refunds and try to help their customers so disappointing
Novotel Athenes - Athens - Building

8.3 Excellent (6,046 reviews)
C$ 171+
Overview Reviews
Discover the ancient Greek capital during your stay at Novotel Athenes. In summertime, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Acropolis and Lycabettus hill from our roof terrace. Relax with some food or a cocktail by the outdoor swimming pool. With monuments and museums nearby, you can fully experience Greek culture at Novotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful..Everything clean.
Cons: The area is very poor and dirty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Decently large rooms by European standards, nice view from the rooftop pool. Decent price, and comfortable bed.
Cons: Pool hours are very limited, I figured I could go for a swim after being out for the day only to be told the pool closes around 1830. Presumably, they don't want to sacrifice the bar ambiance around the pool by people actually using the pool. And it didn't reopen until 9am in the morning, too late to be useful before needing to run out for the day. Typical terrible Greek hours. Very disappointed that the pool, one of the main reasons I booked the hotel, was 100% useless. You should consider it for show only. The hotel isn't in a bad area (by comparison to the rest of Athens), but the walk to the metro is not the most enjoyable and I kept an eye out for unsavory people. I was surprised to find a Novotel in such a residential area - nothing close by that you'd want to walk to (except the metro to head to a more interesting area). The view from the roof could be Lebanon or the Gaza Strip if you didn't see the Acropolis way off in the distance.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value-for-money. Good breakfast. The gym is small, but the minimum necessary equipment is there.
Cons: The hotel surroundings are a bit dodgy.
7.0 Good

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: nothing to complain.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel! We enjoyed our stay and had an amazing time in Athens!
Cons: It could have been a little closer to all the sites, or closer to the metro station. Next time we will probably stay in a hotel near the heart of Athens, so we wont have to use the subway as much.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel has a parking place. Breakfast was delicious.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely, albeit slightly away from the main attractions. However, it is reasonably close to public transport so that's not really a worry.
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds A window that opens wide Spacious shower Good breakfast Helpful staff

Pros: The location could not be better. The rooftop restaurant has incredible views, and the breakfast was very nice.
Cons: The beds are rock hard, and the staff can be a bit grouchy. While the staff who work mornings at breakfast seem quite helpful and attentive, the bar staff seemed annoyed that we were there. Key cards failed a couple times during a week-long stay, so I had to bring mine to the front desk twice to have it reprogrammed. Others seemed to have this issue too.

Pros: Great for families
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely warm, friendly and helpful. There was an issue when we checked in, finding our reservation, and they did not skip a beat to accommodate us while it was resolved. Breakfast was spectacular, the room and bathroom were exactly what we were looking for after a very busy days. The shuttle service closer to town was a huge help.
Cons: The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the areas we wanted to stay in, but the shuttle resolved most of our concerns.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was so nice. The person that assisted us when we checked in went above and beyond. Even though we were checking out at 3 am before breakfast, he told us to call room service and they would have breakfast ready for us when we wanted or they would pack a breakfast to go! They were very accommodating!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is large and has the required accessories: hair dryer, etc.....The hotel lobby is nice too .

Pros: Staff went above and beyond to address some help that I needed. It was very much appreciated.
Cons: Location. It is is a pretty rough part of the city.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very nice clean hotel with nice modern rooms
Cons: Shower tub was too narrow and hard to stand in to take a shower. Even though we were on a non-smoking floor we could severely smell smoke from adjoining rooms. We complained about the cigarette smell and was only told "sorry".
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is large, renovated and clean with great service
Cons: The vicinity not much happening, not within walking distance from anything interesting

Pros: the staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and cleaned every single day. nice bathroom, cozy bed, good selection of tv and radio channels on the tv. nice and decently sized refrigerator. breakfast was always very fresh, delicious and abundant. location is very central and everything is in walking distance. neighborhood might seem a bit shady, but it's not dangerous whatsoever. Wifi was ok. fairly cheap rates.
Cons: the rooms were a bit noisey as you could hear everything from the hallway, but during the night it was quite. the railing on the balconies are too low for my taste. not too good if you have acrophobia but I managed.

Cons: Dangerous area for women

Pros: Good value for money, weird neighborhood that doesn’t seem save. Easy check in and check out. Good breakfast.
Cons: Pillows and bed uncomfortable. Neighborhood feels unsafe
9.2 Excellent
Pros: location; breakfast;
Cons: neighborhood is dirty and smelly
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked the room very much and the location. They were nice when i came before the check in and they let me check in earlier. It was very nice because I was exhausted. Also the breakfast was really delicious and nice options but not for people who are staying for a long time because it is the same thing every day.
Cons: For sure it was the WiFi problem. I had important things to do and I needed WiFi and my room was right beside the lobby which would make the WiFi even better but it didn’t work at all in my room. Couldn’t check emails, social media and barely my WhatsApp, I would talk to the receptionist and they would just restart it but it didn’t get any better. Another thing was the noise from the lobby, I could hear everything from my room people hangout. Something that wasn’t really nice was the noise during the breakfast from the lady cleaning the dishes.

Pros: Price and location. Nice breakfast

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really very good. All spoke English and were cheerful and happy to help. The breakfast was brilliant wide range of fresh quality food. Hot and Cold.
Cons: The location wasn’t the best if you wanted to go into town. About half hour walk to main sights. Unfortunately the fitness room was an embarrassment to the organisation. Which really surprised me because they took so much pride in other aspects. Cables were broken. Machines with loose wiring and not working. One running machine that kept slipping and the other just kept turning off. Weights one set of dumbbells that were leaking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff in the property was amazing and super friendly! Great job! New hotel with a good location and charming reception..

Pros: Great breakfast! Many options to choose from. Fantastic view on Acropolis! Beautiful flowers, fruits and wine as compliment was a very pleasant surprise to start a trip!
Cons: The room was huge and it was chilly because of the big windows. Since there were not radiators, to warm up it was necessary to keep conditioner on which is noisy at night when you try to get to sleep so we had to turn it off. The water in the coffee machine was not clean.

Pros: I believe its the best hotel to stay in Athens
Cons: Absolute nothing

Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff very helpfull. The private underground parking on that spot was perfect for transfering fast.
Cons: The A/C was set in wrong temperature and it was locked for us to control. As a result the room was very hot to stay. Thankfully i was in a room with private balcony so i could open the window but on the other hand the Syggrou avenue is too busy and noisy.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had friendly staff, very welcoming for our first time in Athens. Had an elevator, the room was clean, the sofa bed was open and made for us, the washroom had some olive oil shower gels and even slippers! Quite spacious with modern decor. The hotel itself, we would book again. However...
Cons: The location is not family friendly nor where you would imagine to find a 3-star hotel. The area Omonia has a name for itself. Unfortunately, we did not do our research regarding the neighborhood and we decided to walk back to the hotel from Plaka after 6pm, with young kids. It was a very scary experience as we walked by drug users and you get this feeling that a lot of people staring at you - which makes your fight or flight sense kick in. After that night, we resorted to hiring taxis via an app. It costed roughly 5 euros with tips to get to the Acropolis. Our balcony faced a bar, which had loud music and people talking loudly till 2am. It didn't bother us too much as we were exhausted from our travels to care. There's also not many food choices only a lot of falafel.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is good, but is a Pakistan area
Cons: The hotel is 2 stars max. There was a whole in the bathroom, that we had to close with the painting of bedroom. Needs renovation. No room service.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Apartment it self was very clean and modern! Good value for money. Staff were lovely and friendly.
Cons: Very noisy! Can hear everyone talking and moving about in other rooms, the street was very noisy, felt like we were sleeping with our windows open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, and it has a very good price - quality relation.
Cons: I liked everything
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Meeting some of the nice helpful people, trying the local produce and getting to know how and where to travel around Athens. A great opportunity to see such rich local history and the worlds most beautiful buildings and WOW! remains that are still standing!
Cons: The poverty seen in the local neighbourhood, much litter on the streets and many deprived people searching the dustbins, sleeping rough!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean.front desk staff was very helpful specialy Mr Francisco went beyond the way to help us from booking the tours to arrange the taxi for airport.
Cons: Lift was quite small so it was hard to bring luggage up.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is clean and the staff is wonderful and kind.
Cons: The neighborhood doesn't feel safe after dark.

Pros: -The location was really good coz you can just walk going to the beaches and also the buses and transportation means are just in walking distances. There are also a number of places near the area which you can visit like museums and the new Stavros Library. You can just also simply order a taxi going to historical places in the city center if you don’t want to take the tram or the buses. The fare is not expensive so it is a plus. -the breakfast was always amazing. We stayed for 2 weeks in the hotel and they have such nice variety of breakfast. -the staff were also nice. They don’t speak too much of English but they are approachable. -the rooms are neat and clean and they change the sheets and towels very often which I like the most.
