The on site agent should be more friendly and not just factual. There was no one at the window when we returned the car to discuss costs. We were billed more than we were told we would be billed. The car was fine.

Very low tire pressure. Had to have tires pumped up. Treads are worn. Tires need to be replaced for safety

The Sault airport Budget office is impossible to get ahold of. We spent hours trying to contact someone there and also left messages which no one returned. Suggestions: - Call forward phone to someone with Budget in the Sault if the airport location is always unattended. - Whoever works there checks voice mails remotely or physically (if at the airport). We left messages but no one got back to us.

I had scheduled pickup at 12 and even though I was hours early the car was ready and the drop off time was renegotiated to Friday at 9am for my convenience.

I didn’t know this until after I picked up the vehicle but there were no winter tires on the vehicle nor any winter wiper blades. After we did a post damage inspection, he assured me that everything was fine but didn’t have anything to sign off on. Thankfully nothing came of it but I would’ve been more reassured if there was a damage form he could sign off on so I wouldn’t be responsible for damage I didn’t cause. Other than that, everything went well

Pros:

my reservation had conflicting addresses so I called the car rental place to find out the reservation did not exist, nor were they part of Kayak.IT WAS A SCAM.If I did not call, I would have NOT had a car for a funeral. Being summer, all cars from every company in town were booked. I would have been ....screwed.

Cons:

NO ONE IS ACCOUNTABLE. IF I DID NOT HAVE THE INSIGHT TO CALL THE CAR RENTAL COMPANY, I WOULD HAVE BEEN ON A TRIP WITHOUT A VEHICLE IN AN AREA YOU MUST HAVE A VEHICLE. TERRIBLE SITUATION
