The boarding was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The fault lays on Ohare Airport and not so much the airline. The waiting area by the gate was the size to accommodate a regional flight for 20-30 people and right next to a busy walkway. When you cramped nearly 300 passengers into that space is was unbearable.
The seats are too cramped in that plane. If you’re above 1,80m consider alternatives or first class I guess… There were no emergency exits to seat somewhere with more legroom

Very good job from pilots. Leg room in economy - I was positively surprised, very decent leg room! Thank you for providing it."

Cons: "A little bit chaotic when they loaded two planes at the same time in a very tight space in Amsterdsm but this was most likey an airport soecific design issue and not a KLM issue. The flight was as good as can be expected fir an international flight. The staff was great"

The flight was half an hour late, as happens these days always in Europe. Otherwise, fine. Friendly crew.
The flight from Houston to Frankfurt was atrocious. Our seats were in Coach; these rows provided no leg room, and if you needed to exit your row, you had to ask the passenger in front of you to straighten their seat, so you had a bit more room to go to the restroom. For our return flight, we decided to upgrade our seats. Lufthansa refused to give us credit for the seats we had already selected and paid for when we initially booked our flight ($60) and charged us $125 each to sit on a row with more leg room. In addition, we missed our Lufthansa connecting flight in Frankfurt because the flight from Houston left late. We walked the Frankfurt airport for hours, looking for someone to assist us. Terrible experience! Needless to say, we will never fly Lufthansa again.
Cons: "There was no information from Lufthanza. There were no lanes. There was no one at the check in desks. There was no crowd control. There was no triage. I was bloody chaos. I arrived 3 hours and 40 minutes in advance of the flight and traveled only 25 feet toward the check in desk in over 5 hours. When we went to the information desk, we were told that the flight would wait for the passengers to be processed...but we never were and the flight took off only 35 minutes later than scheduled. it was the worst flying experience I have had in over 50 years!"

Sucks for LH, but I had to one sitting next to me on the 8-hour flight! no crying babies, no snoring. yiey!"
Cons: "Maybe US is ahead, but my experience with 2 terminals at Hanover and Frankfurt was that information exchange isn't good. Gate number was available at the last hour or so, which then got changed. Not just this flight. many flocks of people were running around to find their new gate... also as I mentioned climbing several stories of stairs with carry-on isn't fun! Not on this flight, but on my initial departure from US to FRA, monitors said go to Gate B. I got in line for Gate B as there was some security check, then we were told there was another B?!@ We had to go down and take the bus for that...written.. No where!"

Cons: "It is always about baggage. Bags with priority tags should atleast be sent on a "priority". With LH this never is the case. Priority tagged bags are sometimes the last ones to come on the belt."

Flight was supposed to take off Saturday at noon. Bumped for unknown reasons until 2 am, then 9 am, then noon, then we don’t know. Not weather related. Dismal and non existent customer service. No 24/7 relations. Couldn’t get my bag back to attempt to get on another flight until 5pm Saturday. Will never take this airline again!

I lost valuable time at the airport and almost missed the flight. Chaotic and unexpected baggage problems before boarding to Dallas: the board luggage, same as we had on the way over, was not accepted and had to be checked in. Problem since we had to move laptop, etc. before the actual boarding. Attendants not as professional as they should be. Also seats were changed -- I was not able to sit with my daughter who regularly gets travel sickness. Overall not a good experience. But the worst: changing airlines and not being informed!!!!"

Once we boarded after like - 10 delays and a gate change, there were NUMEROUS whole-flight mixups with luggage - so many similar flight numbers traveling to same destination and whole flights awaiting their luggage. Our party of four had our luggage spread through THREE different planes. WTH? No customer service at DTW once we arrived and there were so many livid people. Absolutely awful. We were supposed to arrive at 5PM and it's now 3:11AM. My son just completed filing a luggage claim loss. And we are off to drive home to Grand Rapids two hours away. Nightmare."

Cons: "This flight was delayed for several hours after we had already boarded (due to maintenance, I think), then was unexpectedly cancelled. Air Canada staff did not communicate with us clearly about the cancellation. We asked several staff members for help and some of them simply walked away; seemed like staff did not know what was going on. We over 90 minutes for in-person assistance, only to be directed to a telephone to re-book our flight. We missed an entire day of our trip to Japan. I'm very disappointed in my experience flying Air Canada."
Pros: "This was the absolute worst experience of my life. Out flight from Calgary to LAX was on the complete other side of the airport than our connector to San Diego. After a delay we had a short amount of time to get to the next flight. We literally were told to just cross the parking lot. Well... that ended up being a 25 minute run across the airport to only have to go thru security again. After navigating construction and parking structures we got to our gate 10 minutes late and would not be let on the flight. There was zero communication, sympathy or help from the United Airlines staff. We were told it was not their problem because we came in through Air Canada- BUT we booked through United! All in all it was an absolute nightmare that ended in us renting a car at 12am and driving back to San Diego with zero compensation from United Airlines"

Cons: "My headphone jack didn't work so it was hard to use the entertainment system as I had to hold the headphones in the right position for the entire flight - not a huge deal of course just inconvenient. My flight was also delayed and I could not make my connection..I understand delays happen but I don't understand why there was such little time between my first flight and my connection...seems silly. Luckily I was put on the next flight which I am very appreciative of."
Pros: "Everything about the flight went very smoothly. The take off was right on time the boarding was quick and efficient and all the workers on the plane were very kind."
Cons: "Only thing I had a issue with was my headphone jack was a little loose so I had to hold the headphones in a certain spot so I could hear all the audio."
