I think Alaska should start including free meals on these longer trips.

Wheelchair assistance was excellent. I had a saver fare, but was given a seat in Premium. So very nice!! Extra legroom, complimentary beer. The flight crew was very nice and efficient. The gate agent in Seattle double checked to make sure I was able to board the plane all right while using my cane. I boarded first. So considerate! The flight was smooth, and right on time.

Wheelchair assistant was on the spot, and very helpful. Gate agent was kind, and made sure I boarded the plane without having to try to hurry with my painful hip. My seat was so comfortable, 20A. I am tall, 5'9 and I need to stretch out my legs due to chronic nerve pain in my back that runs down my right leg, in addition to the bursitis in my right hip. Alaska air has the best economy seating in the market. So much room for legs, elbows, etc. When I arrived in SEA, the next Wheelchair was waiting to take me to the next gate. Great communication.

I had to cancel my trip due to health reasons three days after making the reservation. I was stunned to find out that the ticket was not able to be credited for future travel. $734 loss. Not happy that this was not my experience with Southwest Airlines. I will stick with SW in the future. Boo Alaskan Air and Kayak.

Due to plane delays on both legs of my flight home, I had to be rerouted from Santa Rosa to Las Vegas on Skywest and then to DCA on American. SkyWest airlines sat on runway in Las Vegas for 20 minutes waiting for gate to clear. My boarding pass for American that I was given by Alaska was incomplete and the Las Vegas airport lacked signage and departure boards. I barely made my flight bc it was so confusing. American Airlines has a much better wireless connection. I’ll never fly Alaska again. It clearly has problems.

Flight was scheduled to leave at 6a and delayed for 5 hours due to “mechanical” issues. Everyone else on the flight received an email voucher for $24 of food for the delay, except for our group. Also the carry on luggage bins were full and the crew requested that everyone to pass their carry ons back up to the front while everyone was still standing. They gave no other direction and kept rushing the process. After all bags were sent up, they then asked for seat #s to go with each bag… They should have probably had everyone get to their sits and then pass the bags up in a controlled process.

From Las Vegas to Boise all went well. However, our flight was delayed in Boise and I missed my connecting flight from Seattle to Pasco. Moreover, the last flight to Pasco was full and I was booked on the 11:30 flight Sunday and given a hotel accommodation. However, I was scheduled to deliver the Sunday morning service at my church and needed to arrive no later than 10:00. Therefore, I booked a Delta flight scheduled to arrive in Pasco at 23:09. My piece of luggage checked in Las Vegas arrived in Pasco earlier today. I waited at the airport for over an hour last night to speak with an Alaska agent to no avail. I went back after church this morning in search of my piece of luggage and it could not be located. After waiting for 40 minutes to speak to the agent authorized to take my claim, he announced that he was closing the counter to assist on the flight line but not before providing me with a telephone number that would help me with filing my claim. Before I was able to make the call (due to other factors) I received a call from Alaska agent informing me that my luggage had just arrived and I am now waiting for it to be delivered. I deliberately took the more complicated route home to ensure that I would be home in plenty of time to prepare for myself for the Sunday service and accommodate my relatives’ needs. I believe the airport is undermanned given the number of flights coming in and going out. It was fiasco last night with three flights waiting for luggage and another flight landing within minutes. Today’s problems stemmed from a lack of cross training and a serious amount of cargo/baggage going out and too few people scheduled to cover.

The seats were not very comfortable and there were no TV screens. Boarding was pretty fast because there were so few people on such a small plane and I appreciated that they still gave us our snack and drinks, however I really wish they would come up with a good gluten-free snack.

Flight crew and flight were good. But it departed two hours late.

Pretzels are always a disappointment. Cheezits, Sun Chips, trail mix, anything else would be nice.
