There were two lines where passenger did line up in than others cut the line claiming they had connecting flights. Those in charge never verified whether they were connecting to another flight. Never asked for their boarding pass. I heard some laughing saying they did no have connecting flights. I better job and method of handling this situation is needed as long as the ban is in effect. Otherwise, Turkish airlines is fine. My wife and I have traveled most airlines and travel extensively. So, we are aware of good service and bad. Your service minus the electronic equipment is good."

At Istanbul, Ataturk airport it was a nightmare for us, as senior citizens. Why should we buy the Visa when the flight was delayed which is no fault of ours. Of the 4 automatic e-visa machines onlyEv 1 was working and there was a long queue. In between the machine stopped working for a long time and no one was there to assist or restart. They gave our boarding passes for the next days flight and their responsibility was over. We had to wait for over an hour to get the hotel. Overall it was a bad experience."

I hate pasta and in general there were too many carbs and too few protein choices. Maybe it is a personal taste but for me the food was simply not tasty. That applies for everything I had (except the yellow rice which was good). As for the entertainment - I watch mainly comedy episodes on TV. The same episodes were given on all 4 legs."

Cons: "Airlines in general need to enforce the carry on luggage rules. If it doesn't match the dimensions for the carry on specks then make the people Check it. Don't let it go. If I paid for a seat and I'm allowed two carry ons then there should be room for them. Don't ask people to check bags because of a full plane. The crew should have there own place to store their belongings, not where the passengers do and take their space. The life rafts need to be easy to get to but again should take up a spot a passenger has paid for their luggage to go. If that is the only space for these items then don't allow passengers to bring two items if in those seats or on the whole plane. It's really disappointing when your told you may have to check your bag because there's not enough room."

Pros: "Boarding in St Thomas is always a mess, no matter what airline you fly. I usually fly Delta because the planes are clean and the people are nice. Well this time the staff went well above and beyond. My friend and I were sitting in the front row of seats in the lounge at the airport, facing the Delta gates. There was a mob of people milling about between us and the gate, so we could not see very well, but we thought we had a clear view of the door. Also it was very loud in the terminal. The flight had a delay, so we were relaxing and chatting, when I got a text from my mom asking if I was on the plane. So I went to the counter to inquire if they had started boarding our flight. The lady looked at me with surprise and said, "We have been paging you!!". Well we were both surprised! We had not heard anything over the general din in the airport. It turns out they had completed boarding and already rolled the stairs away from the plane! The ground staff talked to the captain and then they rolled up a set of stairs, opened the door to the plane, and let us on! The flight attendants said that they had never seen that happen before. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the crew at Delta for going the extra mile to make sure we made it on our flight."

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Pros: "Take offs were a few minutes late but we arrived on time at each destination due to savvy pilots and great tailwinds. Staff was in a good mood and so were the passengers, no Scrooge’s!"

Cons: "Boarding the way there, they did not honor my AA Advantage card to board earlier because my boarding pass did not say so. Even after seeing it said so in the computer system, they refused to honor it. Further, there were no charging ports on board, no free WiFi, no adjustable headrests, and the seats did not recline. There were no kosher cookies."
Cons: "American has no respect for their customers. Counter agent NEVER called group nine to board, then got on the loud speaker and said, “final boarding call, doors will close 30 seconds after the end of this message.” Wha? Poor customer service..."
Pros: "The flight was early to arrive. There was also a rather frightening bit of turbulence, and the pilot explained why it had occurred, which I found very reassuring."
Cons: "The food was definitely below average. It's virtually all carbohydrates.Other airlines provide you with a printed description of the menu options, so it's easier to make a choice. "Chicken or pasta" doesn't give the passengers any idea of what they are actually choosing. This time the chicken dish was served with pearl couscous, so it was basically pasta as well. The salad I was given was brown and wilted, and while the cabin attendants were kind enough to give me two salad that were in better shape (after meal service), I just think that quality control should have prevented a inedible salad from being served in the first place. I am also extremely opposed to American Airlines Transatlantic luggage fees. Since I was moving abroad rather than taking a short trip, I was not pleased about paying 100 USD for a second bag on top of an already expensive flight."

Pros: "Flight crew had a great sense of humor - they were extra friendly while boarding as well, made traveling with AA the best! Boarding was delayed due to previous flight but our pilot even managed to get us to Denver early! Wish I could have this crew everywhere I go!"

There is nothing organized about this company. And no concern for their customers. We heard different things from every single employee we talked to."

Cons: "Not having a TV available is reflective of the poor rating for entertainment. Better organization with boarding- calling groups 1-6 within a 3 minute span makes for unnecessary commotion that could easily be avoided"
