The people were very professional, from checking in to boarding , to assisting your every need while flying . I have enjoyed flying KoreanAir for over 10 years and I still love them to this very day. They are one of a kind.
Korean Air is excellent. The seats...could be better.
I would highly recommend KAYAK website for the best choice to find bargaining travel plan, either for flights, hotels, etc.
They ran out of the bibimbap in economy
Flying business cannot quench your thirst. Not even a glass(in this case a paper cup) of water is onboard. I wonder if the COVID virus can survive in the longer legs.
Cons: "Korean Air was wonderful. BUT KAYAK made my reservation through KIWI.COM which is absolutely horrible. My reservation was ONLY for Dallas to Incheon. They booked me a ticket all the way to Singapore without ever asking my permission or informing me. As a result, I was unable to use the ticket, and had to purchase a new one at the airport ticket counter. I called them several times to attempt to fix the issue, but they were utterly unhelpful. I have requested a refund, but am not hopeful based on their past performance. KAYAK should cut all ties with KIWI if it wants to remain reputable."
Pros: "Everything was good, excellent. No complaint at all!"
Cons: "Perfect no further better service, I suppose."
Pros: "I love Korean Air"
Cons: "No complaints!"
Pros: "I liked sleeping"
Cons: "The flight attendants don’t understand English well so asking for water or some items I was completely ignored. To make up for lack of WiFI actually the entertainment system is awful. They ran out of food items and did not return to replenish drinks or remove waste"
Pros: "Creew, food , prompt service"
Pros: "The food was great and I was glad they had such good vegetarian options. It was nice they gave us pillows and blankets."
Cons: "It was an overnight flight and they had the lights on for a long time and kept coming by to hand out things which made it hard to sleep but it was still nice they gave us the attention. I’d also like to see fewer wasteful disposable food containers."
Pros: "The flight was comfortable and service was good"
Cons: "In flight entertainment movies were limited"
Pros: "Legroom was generous, crew were attentive and polite, although alcohol availability was stingy."
Cons: "Food quality was poor bordering on tasteless, more importantly service of lukewarm egg meals is guaranteed to earn an "Air Typhoid" award, and is inexcusable."
Pros: "From boarding to meal to disembarking, Korean Air does it right. They are attentive to your needs and provide excellent customer service."
Cons: "On this particular flight, a nice glass of white wine would have been nice but they had beer instead. I survived. Additionally, an upgrade on their earphones would be nice. Their sound quality is not the best."
Pros: "Short flight"
Cons: "Dont have lots of option on movie"
Pros: "Excellent service and food!"
Pros: "Unlike flights in the US, they provided pillows, blankets, slippers, a water bottle and headphones in your seat before you boarded at no extra charge. They were very organized, efficient and quick about boarding."
Cons: "My seat was chosen for me. However, leg room was excellent even in the least expensive seats."
Pros: "Phillapines was awesome and I want to go to Korea next the Philippines is building a new airport to cebu city maybe direct from N.Y. would be awesome"
Cons: "Eveything was seamless for a novice"
Pros: "The Koreans are masters at whatever they do, super clean, polite and attentive. Always a smile. I'd fly with them anytime."
Cons: "They tend to keep the plane a tad warm and no individual "fresh air" control over head."
Pros: "Excellent movie selection."
Cons: "Food made my wife sick. Probably a bad shrimp. Passenger next to me thought I was a pillow."
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and the crew was nice"
Pros: "The whole overall experience was fantastic. The food is great and the crew does a great job of taking care of you."
Pros: "Food and assistance"
Cons: "not comfortable with the seats"
Pros: "Anonymous i really appreciate getting a meal on the plane i love all the food yummy, ilike the cleanlines for korea air ,and good customer service,"
Pros: "The staff was friendly and even though it was a quick flight they still provided a light meal. They were very efficient getting people on and off the plane."
Pros: "Timely and professional services, well polite and corteous staff"
Pros: "upgrade the food quality"
Cons: "Meal quality in economy is really poor, much poorer compared to four years ago, when I last flew Korean Air, and poorer than Asiana, which I flew last year. Flight attendant serving our section kept knocking into aisle seat passenger, including knocking over his coffee cup and spilling coffee all over him and the passenger next to him. Flight attendant's reaction was to panic instead of handing over napkins or paper towels - was mopping up with my napkins and tissues by the time she showed up with some paper towels. I was left with the impression that flight attendants were picked more for looks than competence. Checking in at Incheon took a very long time - they should open more counters or give warning to passengers of how long it can take."
Pros: "Spacious for economy."
Cons: "Felt like we could have had an extra meal/more snacks & drinks. Only 2 meals for a 13-14 hour flight."
Pros: "The crew are friendly, the flight was comfortable"
Pros: "The attention to detail and excellent service was better than I had expected. I was especially impressed by the stickers the cabin attendants used to notify sleeping passengers upon waking up that the meal/drinks were still available upon request."
Pros: "There was loads of entertainment during flight , food was great and crew was friendly."
Pros: "KA broke handle in my luggage and it was difficult to make them pay back some reasonable amount of money for that (my suitcase was just one year old) but at the end they did a lot. Love their metal cutlery instead of plastic ones. It's not only better to eat with them but also better for environment."
Pros: "Friendly service and food pretty good. Great price for value."
Cons: "Seating was changed even though i prebooked."
Cons: "special meals especially Hindu meals non vegetarian"
Pros: "I have flown with many airlines and Korean Air is by far the best airlines I have flown with. Great service, perfect locations."
Cons: "China Air was alright. Just didn't like the whole running around the airport trying to figure out what counter to go to. Also I am not a big fan of getting transported via bus from terminal to plane"
Pros: "perfect service"
Pros: "Staff, food, flight.. everything was great."
Pros: "Spacious seating. I didn't feel crowded. The food on the plane was pretty good too. No complaints. All of the stewardesses were giving a friendly "sawasdee" when we got to Thailand. They provided headphones to each passenger and a pillow as well."
Pros: "I liked the service of korean airline, thier cabin crew are polite and friendly."
Cons: "I was disappointed if their food.,,"
Pros: "A stewardess accidentally spilled some orange juice on me when serving shortly after takeoff from Incheon, and was extremely apologetic; I have suffered much worse in my fairly long life, I have made much worse mistakes, and it did not bother me at all; I declined the offer of cleaning costs, but the senior stewardess unexpectedly handed me an envelope while I was debarking in Seattle; I discovered it contained cash for the cleaning, an unexpected surprise. The crew overall was courteous, friendly but businesslike, and obviously knew it was their job to make the passengers comfortable and happy -- they did a very professional job of doing so. Three cheers for KAL"
Cons: "The entertainment system is not very important to me. However, it was extremely difficult for me to operate, even to reach the flight progress screen; its primary language of course is Korean, which I do not read or speak, and the required navigation sequences did not appear to me to be logical, Fortunately for me, I am not a TV person and generally read while awake on the flight."
Cons: "I have to wait for my next flight about 8 hours ."
Pros: "Food, staff, comfort, boarding, amenities + minimal turbulence!"
Cons: "Baggage handling (rough), de-planing."
Cons: "since it is the overnight flight, everyone was so tired but still serve food....... for the poeple who was sleeping, the smell was unpleasant."
It was riding a bus. No problems.
Cons: "Sold me a ticket then cancelled 15 minutes later due to not having updated information from the airline on bookings."
Pros: "Overall great, compared to the price."
Cons: "Need more selections of foods."
Pros: "The CS is very good and we boarded the plane with a SWA level of efficiency."
Cons: "The inbound plane was delayed."
Pros: "Smiling stewardess"
Cons: "So far so good"
Pros: "Good service for what you've paid for. Luggage allowance included in the fare could be a bit more."
Cons: "low price air ticket doesn't mean low quality service!"
Pros: "Price is great if you are lucky enough to get a promotion ticket. Free luggage is included in the ticket During the flight, crews provided water sufficiently."
Cons: "Basically nothing considering what LCCs provide."
Cons: "Very tiny seats, tough for a westerner."
Cons: "No entertainment, no place to plug in devices, extremely uncomfortable. The worst part was the Dixie cup of water served. Really?!? A bottle or larger cup would have broke the bank? Was so thirsty by the time we landed even though I had the attendants bring me water three times."
Pros: "Crew was polite"
Cons: "Food and entertainment"
Pros: "Got upgraded to first class, there wasn’t any TVs but it was only an hour long flight. Staff was also really nice"
Cons: "Magazines or tv."
Cons: "Bad ticketing system. Too narrow seat position. Crews are using too strong perfume. Bad altitude changing. Overally it was worst experience in my life."
Pros: "Good value for the money. Flight crew was young and exuberant, very willing to make the passengers journey as comfy as possible. Surprised an inflight meal and two checked bags were included in my fare. Other international carriers would have charged extra! Hope this Korean Air economy carrier sticks around. Hope to fly them again!"
Cons: "The plane was on the old side with worn seat cushions. Not the most comfy for long haul flights. No pillows, blankets or inflight entertainment. Do bring your own blanket or jacket and do not forget the snacks!"
Pros: "Food was good quality and good portion for the duration of the flight."
Cons: "Seat were smaller than Korean air everything else feels like any other budget airline"
Pros: "Wide leg room, nice customer service and most importantly being able to check in baggages up to 15kg for free!!!"
Cons: "We were delayed three hours"
Pros: "Service and crew"
Cons: "It was a older plane with very little legroom. I’m 5’7”"
Pros: "We were actually on Korean Air, not Jin Air due to our change in schedule. Korean Air staff in Hanoi were truly excellent. They even followed thru so that staff in Seoul assisted us with our connection. We were very impressed. Korean Air's flight attendants have always been professional and courteous. The level of service is superior to most airlines we've used."
Cons: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "Ancient plane! It still has ashtray!"
Cons: "Please indicate in bold print which airline you check in with if two or more are listed! Due to the ambiguity on our reservation we nearly missed our flight. Many other passengers on this flight had the same problem."
Cons: "The flight was suppose to be a direct flight but we end up stoping at Hongkong. We were on the plane for over 12 hours instead of 5 hours and 20 mins."
Cons: "I was just put on whatever seat was available."
Pros: "the trip with Jin air from Clark was good, the trip from Inchon was good"
Pros: "Great flight, good service"
Cons: "It was all fine."
Pros: "This was a codeshare with JinAir. The staff was friendly and helpful. The plane was small, but thankfully there were plenty of open seats so it felt spacious."
Pros: "It was okay!"
Cons: "The connecting flight was a little confusing, most of us don't know what's going on or where to get the boarding pass."
Pros: "Comfortable seats."
Pros: "Good for a short hop from Korea to Japan"
Pros: "I paid for Korean air tickets only to realize I got cheap flight on Jin air. I puposely paid more for a real airline. Not some tiny seat budget airline that can't even serve a proper meal. This is the last time I buy on kayak!"
Pros: "The crew were so accommodating"
Cons: "No entertainment and the food is few and no other choice for free drinks"
Cons: "Delay from Japan to Korea 7 hours."
Pros: "Thy got us there (an hour late)."
Cons: "Poor food. Soda is extra charge. Flight crew was in bluejeans. Boarding passes only available at the airport at the time of the flight. No legroom."
Cons: "Very tight on legroom."
Cons: "I could only check-in 2 hours before hand and that annoyed me because it's very stressful to check-in that close to departure and get through security and customs. I was especially upset that I booked my flight with Korean Air and didn't find out it was actually with Jin Air and I could could not check in with Korean Air."
Cons: "It was quite late"
Pros: "The only positive about this flight was the cleanliness of the aircraft."
Cons: "Flight attendants are dismissive of their non korean passengers. Flight was late in departing from Angeles."
Pros: "Friendly staff. Good snack!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed due to weather almost missed my connecting flight to New York but the crew was helpful. Really appreciate the flight attendants help.lo"
Pros: "Got me there on time."
Cons: "Tight fit, no food o entertainment unless purchased on aord."
Pros: "Crew was social and friendly. Great job on a long flight."
Pros: "when I tried to to make changes to my trip they asked me for three hundred and fifty Dollars so I called Korean air changes were made at NO EXTRA charge"
Cons: "Korean airlines ignored my wife's request for a wheel chair. She explained that she was a diabetic and was feeling dizzy. They did allow her access to a short cut through the terminals; however she had collapsed, broke her watch, cover to the cell phone, injured both legs and right arm. She kept yelling for help and no one arrived, she managed while in intense pain to get up make her flight. When she arrived in Bangkok she went immediately to the Emergency Room and received treatment. I am appalled at the indifference of the members of the boarding crew that didn't offer assistance to my wife."
Pros: "No entertainment on the flight at all, food was ok. Lucky that I got bump to prestige otherwise I will have comment on seat as well"
Cons: "Delayed for over 2 hours Staff not accomodating Staff dressed unprofessionally"
Pros: "I would not use Gin Air in the future. Will stay with Koran Air."
Cons: "Nothing was good about the flight. Sub standard . Transfer was not good either."
Cons: "Almost everything. Jin boarding system is suck. They can't give me the boarding pass for the transit flight and they don't know what should I do when I am going transit. This is even more frustrating when the flight is delayed and you have 1 hour of international flight transiting. Food is cool and tasteless. I won't fly with Jin air ever again. I would say that after all these years of at least 70000 miles of air traveling. This is the WORSE of my experience."
Cons: "No movies, one small snack, this was a 6 hour flight"
Pros: "I am a frequent flyer internationally and domestically in the USA, and flown multiple airlines but have never ever felt offended by a flight crew until my return flight to the US from Clark airport in the Philippines scheduled to depart on 1-13-2016 at 11:55pm. The cabin flight stewardess in her navy blue top and jeans asked me to sit down when she saw me standing at the front of the plane while the plane was cruising. There was no turbulence at that time, the seat belt sign was off and the captain did not announce a need to stay seated with the seat belt on. I explained that my back and left leg hurts so I needed to stretch, shake it off and stand. She insisted that I sit for my safety. I did not argue because I did not want to cause trouble. Then I asked her for the toilet which was behind her, hidden as she keeps the curtain pulled around the toilet and galley. She directed me to the tail of the plane when I am seated at #28B at first row at the front of the plane, 4-5 steps away from me. She kept still, standing in front of the toilet until I walked away to the back of the plane. Again, I did not complain nor argue. I thought to myself that maybe the front toilet if off limits to passengers. Then later when I returned to my seat, I watched all other passengers who appear of her same race and talked same language as hers, pull the curtain covering the toilet and galley, use the toilet and get drinks from her freely. I felt very offended that I was not allowed to use this toilet as every one else have and did not receive the same friendly service as those passengers. I wanted to keep to myself about this but I realized I was treated unequally. So I told her that I was offended that she directed me to the back of the plane to use the toilet while everyone else used the front of the plane toilet. I also told her I felt I was not treated equally and felt very hurt. She kept apologizing after I explained how I feel but her apology does not take away the fact that I was treated differently and unequally. I advised her that she should not treat her passengers as if we are ignorant of flying, of our rights and of flying etiquette. She kept apologizing every time she passes by me throughout the flight but this did not ease my feelings at all. This was the last blow to my dissatisfaction with this trip beginning with the 2-hour flight delay. With many other airlines flying to Clark airport in the Philippines, I choose not to fly Jin Air again. In fact, I already booked with another airline today for my next trip with my family in 6 months for a wedding. I will not recommend Jin Air to everyone I know."

Pros: "For a 6 hours flight there should be some form of in flight entertainment. There was nothing. It also took over an hour to board and we were delayed to our connecting flight by 30 min and almost didn't catch our second flight."
