When I approached her supervisor, who was speaking with another Air France employee, she looked annoyed and said just just to to booth #7 or 8 that handles excess luggage issues. My reaction is to avoid traveling through CDG in the future and I will focus on flying with Lufthansa."

Air Canada check in process has passengers use self service kiosks first and then take the tags and luggage to the counter. The employees at check in were all very efficient and made sure the line didn't get too long. The flight left on time. Every seat had personal entertainment system, and mine worked great. The flight attendants themselves were very professional."

Pros: "Can't really complain; a typical, good flying experience with Air Canada. They're the only ones that go direct between YYZ and SFO, so not much choice there, but their staff are always friendly and courteous, and usually the plane provides wifi (for a price), which makes the hours whiz by."
Cons: "There was a slight delay in boarding at SFO, but that was more due to the lateness of a different plane/airline, so not really Air Canada's fault."

I live overseas and but had a valid U.S. visa for my travel, but couldn't change planes without applying tor a temporary resident visa which takes longer to obtain than the time before I needed to fly. Very upset and disappointed. Will certainly avoid purchasing from Air Canada again."
Cons: "Twice now Air Canada has changed flight itineraries into SLC, this time by one day, making a 26 hour layover in Toronto and another time a 48 hour layover by changing the flight by two days."

Cons: "It is the first international flight that do not have any television screens, music stations or any entertainment on board. Alcoholic beverages are not free! We sat in seats that cannot recline - for the whole flight from Barcelona to Toronto. Cabin crew did not keep the cabin clean. Although we flew Air Canada from Barcelona to Toronto and have not left the inside of the airport, we had to go through customs again and almost missed our flight to Atlanta due to that. Airport officials were rude; some of the crew members treated us with disrespect and not approachable. It is the worst international flight ever - even worse than some third world carriers that I used before."

I ran and got to the gate for the montreal flight while they were doing their last call. At first they told me I was going to be able to get on the flight, then they said I was not on the flight, and they turned me down ... I found out later that while flying to Toronto, Air Canada had changed my flight because they estimated I was not going to make my connection!!! I had to wait in line for 2 hours to get rebooked, and after waiting, the person who was rebooking my flight decided to take on another person and made me wait even longer. I was sent to Frankfurt instead of Montreal!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed for reasons that were not communicated to the waiting passengers. The plane was there and seemed ready to go. Perhaps they were fueling up, unsure. Those around me were getting restless as many had connecting flights that were being impacted. Perhaps if updates were given as to why the delay was taking place, it would have settled some of the passengers."
Pros: "The trip from Toronto to San Francisco was better than the San Francisco trip because the return trip was on a Boeing 747 and a much more comfortable than the Airbus."
Cons: "The Airbus red eye going to Toronto was too cramped so it was not very relaxing. The planes are not clean. I'm glad I have wipes to clean the table tray because it was messy."

Cons: "Horrible smelly crampy cloth seats, awful food, they don't offer complementary wine and beer for international flights like other carriers, no tvs in the headrest. The flight crew works slower then I have ever observed in my over 200 flights. Took them 1hr 40min to serve what they called "dinner", Delta and others knocks it out in 30!!! And don't get thirsty, You'll die of dehydration before you get a drop of water. They treat ice like its gold. 2 cubes for each drink. If u ask for more u get one more cube. Lol. It was just a horrible experience! I will never fly Air Canada again."

Cons: "I was very unhappy at check in area, long queue to check in then at the baggage area I was told by a staff member to put the baggage onto the scales then lift it onto the conveyer belt I am a 74 year old senior and I had great difficulty doing this and I was very annoyed as the staff member watched me struggle but did not offer to help. A kind passanger assisted me. This was even more annoying as I had to pay $25:00 + tax for my case."

I just lost an entire airfare because they're change fee's are too much, and they are also not allowing me to change the flight to cheaper prices that I've found available on both Kayak and Air Canada. I will never fly Air Canada again."

Cons: "The second part, from Toronto to Houston was the pitts. First of all they called me to the gate way before the boarding time and so I was a bit worried but when i got there there was nothing, they just confirmed I arrived from Montreal. This was strange and so I got a bit stressed as to why they had a called me and made me rush in the first place. Anyway, minor compared to the rest of the experience. The flight boarding was late, then an unscheduled stop in memphis for extra gas, then a tech problem that needed maintenance kept on on the ground. We finally made it to our destination 2 hours late. Most fellow passengers missed connecting flights and because we got out of the airport after midnight needed to get a cab to our accommodations. While I appreciate the attention to safety (and the curteous crew who obviously felt bad and were taking a lot of shit) we what was supposed to be a 3 hour flight ended up being 5 and there were no meals for sale,very limited snacks. We got one complimentary ,half can of juice and a bag of tiny bag spicy trail mix (labelled ranch) that i could not eat. After the delays we got an extra glass of complimentary cranberry juice. Which was amazing, but really did not cut it (from 5:15- midnight). By the end I was uncomfortable and starving! This was a radically disappointing experience in compared to the Ari Canada portion of the trip."

I wasn’t able to make my flight because my first flight from Nashville (BNA) was delayed for mechanical error (someone’s chair wasn’t able to stay in the upright position), so when I arrived to New York/Newark (EWR) the connecting flight was gone. Since it was the last flight heading to Norfolk (ORF) that night, I had to be rerouted to Richmond (RIC), which is a 90 minute drive to my home. I will admit the lady working the counter was helpful in getting me that replacement flight ticket and put me in first class. Although I think there needs to be someway of halting a connecting flight if the previous leg is delayed. Yet I can see that would probably start a chain reaction of missing times, which helps no one. I just wish it were avoidable, but thankfully I arrived safe after all the headaches. The replacement flight got delayed too, but that’s because it was arriving late and held the crew for the flight I was getting on, but that’s a story for another time…

So I could not put my carry on in front of me. I asked if I could put my bag in top, but attendant told me that I had to ask the first class person in front of me for a favor and thank them for the favor. I did. But this was one of the more disgusting experiences that I have had on an airplane and I paid an extra 100 USD for the privilege of it."

Even if there was weather, they didn't hold our outbound flight and missed it by 15 minutes. Didn't comp us for a hotel, had to stay in Jersey out of pocket, Jersey is busy, dirty, smelly, and overcrowded. Not enough infrastructure for the people. We were lucky we got there 2 hours prior to flight time and had TSA Pre Check."

Our original was a direct flight from MUC to ORD at noon, we had fly to FRT first at 10am. It would be a very mess if we checked in at airport next day. Who would be responsible for the situation if the trip was operated by two airlines like UA and Lufthansa? Certainly not customers. Since the change, we had to cancel some our plan and spent three more hours on the return trip."

With the price of airline tickets I think this should be the new norm, flights are boring and uncomfortable give us something to take our minds off that aspect. They have the normal snacks and food that other airlines offer on a longer flight. The crew was very engaging and professional."
Cons: "I don't like the new seats. There is a curvature that doesn't work so well for my short 5'2'' frame. My partner who is taller did like the seats. The person next to me was about 6 feet tall and when the passenger in front of him reclined the chair was pressed up against his knees the entire flight."
Cons: "First flight was delayed, missed next 2 connecting flights. Next flight home wasn't for 24 hours, so had to pay for my own hotel + another $200 for a rental car to drive 5 hours home. Made it home 1.5 days later. They lost my bag, bag made it home 3 days later. Overall, worst travel experience of my life."
