Extremely poor at handling baggage. I had oversized golf bag and JAL would not recheck in Boston. Had to haul by myself to Jet Blue. Both JAL and Jet Blue claimed I had overweight bag. Had to adjust baggage several times. Will avoid JAL in future and I always avoid Jet Blue when I can. QATAR always superior.

JAL using the state of art A350-1000 for JFK to HND It’s a great plane to fly Very comfortable with lower cabin altitude Quieter cabin Wider seats Big tv screen Excellent service and catering

I fly to Asia twice a year for the last 15 years. I always try to fly JAL. It’s always a pleasant experience. Since TripCase shut down, this is the first time I used Kayak for live trip notifications. I was very pleased with Kayak’s quality and helpfulness of notifications. I will be using them going forward.

This flight was leg 2 of 2 leg journey. The staff at baggage re-drop in Tokyo were fabulous. Once at gate when time to board, had to take standing room bus to the tarmac to board. Did not like getting out to plane and having to wait 5 minutes until they opened bus door.

We ordered for non vegetarian Hindu meal but instead they served us vegetarian Hindu meal. That was also not good. It was very annoying and aggravating. Hope our return from Tokyo to jfk on March 27 same is not repeated. Caterar should understand difference between non vegetarian Hindu meal and vegetarian Hindu meal.

Food was great, Entertainment was bad, movies were not current and just did not have good variety. Granted I was tired so cranky might have played into my evaluation. Overall based on cost I definitely would fly them again. I am a million mile flyer on another airline, the service on JAL really beats all airlines.

The team members are extremely attentive to make sure you have the best experience.

Was in premium economy. It is slightly better than economy, but the way the seat reclines actually makes it harder to sit (the seat slides forward and the foot rest comes up - you can lie fairly well reclined but you’ll have to sit cross legged because there is no place for your legs to stretch out. Food is basic economy. Service was great. All in all good, but may make more sense to pay more for business or save a bit and just sit in economy.

There were agents in Haneda that assisted us with our short layover, they actually escorted us from plane to gate! Amazing service and kindness maybe eclipsed other minor issues. I had difficulty with on line check-in and because I wasn’t able to do it we had to go to the airport without advance checking. They split my friend and I in seating arrangement twice. Food quality and coordination of entrees and side dishes was a little off. Seat comfort led me to posture where I had to lean backwards a little unnaturally, from an upright position

I purchased the ticket online and went to do online check in amd the app wouldnt let me. I went to the airline desk and they couldnt confirm my ticket in their system. I ended up having to buy a ticket from the airline directly and paying twice for the same flight. The app wouldnt lwt me check in the kayak purchased ticket until after my flight was taken off.

In-flight entertainment options could use a refresh, Consider a tie-up with Spotify for more current music and with IMDB or other service for newer selections/movie ratings.

See previous comments. Didn’t take this flight because my other flight was so delayed. Ending up on two other flights as a result and was more than a day late.

6 hour delay and they didnt try to make up any time during an over 10 hour flight

Very good; seat made ready for bed after meal, a plus since one airline covered the seat at the start.

Entertainment was not good. Seems like liquor should’ve been advertised only beer and wine was even though I saw others getting liquor didn’t realize I could. And the food to me could’ve been a little bit.

Food choices perhaps not the best. Only offered beer and wine, when it appeared other liquor was available. Entertainment wasn’t so good.

They charged me over a $1000 dollars to bring two surfboard bags as check baggage. Inappropriate and I would avoid flying sgain

The experience on Fiji Airways was absolutely amazing. Streamlined. All staff was amazing. Pleasant. Friendly. Extremely helpful.

Business class Seats on the A350 from Nan to YVR were wonderful. The flight crew was okay but could do with better training. Toilets were clean but ran out of paper towels towards the end of the flight. The food/menu and the wine offered really needs considerable improvement. Dinner options were either Bolani, a beef sandwich (even this could be made much better), or paneer butter masala. Unfortunately, if you are not a fan of Fijian food, there isn’t much choice. Dessert was either turmeric ice cream or fruits but unfortunately, they were out of fruit! So the only option was turmeric ice cream. I’m not certain how many passengers like turmeric but I am not one of them. They need to cater to a more diverse group of people. Perhaps they need a new chef? The movies& tv shows were mostly older so I didn’t find that interesting either. It was however, fun to view the plane’s exterior cameras as we take off and land. The best thing about this flight are the business class seats.

Comfortable as one can get in Economy, food was very good, staff were super friendly & efficient.

As usual, terrible. Delayed flight, missed connection and wasted hours at the airport. The only reason I use this airline is because of limited options.

All was good except for the seats, not very comfy.

Very nice. Cabin crew is very attentive and professional. So nice!

Not allowing food choice through app. Very hard to find,

Poor air traffic controller staffing led to a 50%reduction on flights so we got to wait 4 hrs for our flight! Very disorganized at the gate Poor communication with customers

It was delayed by almost 90 minutes and that messed up our plans but it was beyond UA’s control that is what we heard

No pillow, blanket, or complimentary food provided on 5 hour flight

It was what it was. The crew were very supportive of my wife's inability to sit for long (without severe pain). I say the food was excellent because we bought sushi at Bento, pre flite. We did not complete the final leg (YVR to YYJ) as we were able to catch the last ferry to Swartz Bay. Thanks to Air Canada ( crew and network ) for the connections to/from SJO.

Flight and flight crew were great. Better than most US airlines. Check-in was awful. They repeatedly wouldn't assign seats on the Air Canada flight or print boarding passes for all legs. This was really frustrating. Checked in the day before each direction but they put us on Standby while they juggled seats to upgrade others. This made it really difficult to get seats next to each other which is important when you have 10+ hour flights. Then they would only print boarding passes for their leg even though everything was booked through them. This made Customs in Canada difficult as they required boarding passes for the next flight each way to get through security. Couldn't get them on the phone and slowed everything down and security had to make exceptions for me to print boarding passes as security.

Not much....we did not get the complimentary beverages promised in our ticket. My partner and I did not have the window seats promised. We didnt get to sit together.....
