Pros: "The crew was amazing!"
Cons: "I can't think of a thing"
Cons: "They don’t hold bassinet seats for families traveling with infants! They sell them as extended leg room seats now. Disappointing."
Cons: "Forced to board a bus and sit in an empty terminal. Paid for priority boarding but wasn't called for it. Pretty disorganized. Good flight but gate crew needs work."
Cons: "They lost all my luggage"
Cons: "When booking there is an option for Food? This gives the appearance that food isn't included in your flight unless you pay extra."
Pros: "Flight attendants were great!"
Cons: "Roomier seats, include a beverage (soda, juice, and at least water), child free section"
Pros: "All good, excellent crew."
Cons: "After awhile Seats were a little uncomfortable."
Pros: "Crew"
Cons: "Food and limited movie selections"
Cons: "They dropped me from the flight. I am in a hotel in Dublin, and will go direct from Dublin to SFO this morning, the next day."
Pros: "fantastic customer service"
Cons: "wouldve loved to have been left breakfast while i slept"
Pros: "very friendly staff great flight with nice tech made trip fly by"
Pros: "The service. Excellent"
Cons: "Pay for the food. LOL."
Pros: "Average flight to get you where you want to go. air hostess was helpful."
Cons: "Forgot my luggage in Toronto. This is the second time with aer Lingus in the past 8 month. Had to pay for my seat and baggage on top of ticket price, was unaware."
Pros: "Almost everything"
Cons: "The confort of thé seats. Way too tight for a 6 hour flight."
Pros: "Crew was nice, seats were big and comfy"
Cons: "I didn't like that we have to pay for every little thing to eat or drink... Even water. I suggest you bring your own snacks"
Pros: "Great selection of entertainment."
Cons: "No complimentary free alcoholic drink with your meal on the Aer Lingus Flight."
Cons: "I was fine with a 5 hour delay I was fine with my bags not being on the same flight as me I am not fine with finally receiving my bags 24 hours later soaking wet. Everything it dripping. I still have nothing to change into now and there was no compensation offered whatsoever. Never flying with this airline again."
Cons: "Missed the flight."
Pros: "He crew were nice."
Cons: "The flight has an hour delay from LAX that caused me to have 20 minuets catch my connection flight and I did not receive my bag. I’m on vacation for 5 days in Hamburg and I’ve already lost 1 day to go out and explore the city. This was my first time flying with Aer Lingus and I unfortunately will be my last time."
Cons: "Being charged $100 each way for checked baggage, no where on my itenerary did it mention that"
Pros: "I flew overnight from Toronto, Canada to Dublin and had a relatively pleasant experience. The food and drink trolleys came by quite quickly and frequently, and the food exceeded my expectations. The crew was friendly, for the most part. Boarding certainly could've been smoother... But overall, I'd fly Aer Lingus again for an overseas trip."
Pros: "Great seats plenty of leg room"
Cons: "The food... Yikes"
Pros: "They offered snacks, drinks and movies for free."
Cons: "They had free movies and tv shows but you had to buy plug in headphones. So just pack your own. (Jetblue) Aer Lingus offered headphones, pillows, movies (not a great selection though) and some horrible food."
Cons: "they charged me 100 dollars to check a bag - nothing at all about this during my purchase. i am so mad at these guys."
Pros: "Crew was pleasant. Food was OK and service too. Boarding was fine."
Cons: "The 4 hours wait before my connection, the extra security selection that got me all patted for the 2nd time."
Pros: "The cabin crew was friendly"
Cons: "The entertainment selections are extremely limited and poor. Food is mediocre and not even comparable to other international Airlines business class standards"
Pros: "the timeliness of the airline in leaving and arriving at the ports, providing meals for the passengers,"
Cons: "breakfast was not given to some of us as the air hostesses said that they ran out of food"
Pros: "Fast and efficient crew"
Cons: "A going-through-the-paces flight and incredibly expensive beer and wine."
Cons: "90 minutes stranded on the tarmac with no explanation. Not the way you start a trip. While the fact of being stranded was out of the control of Aer Lingus, communication was not."
Pros: "The stewards and stewardesses kept a cheery attitude and tried their best to deal with the customer complaints and the constant need of attention of people whose entertainment units didn't work."
Cons: "Unfortunately, I was the unlucky one and had the broken tv and remote set for the entirety of the plane. About 1 in every 3 people however were experiencing issues with their video or audio and had to have their sets rebooted multiple times. This was mainly due to it just being a very old plane and the systems not working anymore. As one of the stewardesses said, she can reboot it, but shes not an engineer. It is majorly time for them to update their interiors."
Pros: "Friendly, helpful, positive crew. Clean plane. On-time departure & arrival"
Cons: "Only food offered was for purchase - even snacks. :-("
Pros: "Crew polite. Seats comfy."
Cons: "One person checking boarding cards at gate led to a ridiculously long queue for a nearly full flight and made it late getting us all on the plane and passengers were getting annoyed. Then whatever machinery Aer Lingus use to push the plane back from the gate actually got stuck on the plane cone leading to another delay. Knock on was we were made to wait for a take off slot and made to wait for a landing slot at Heathrow so late arriving."
Pros: "Nothing. I flew with West Jet. Their review shall be posted on their forum"
Cons: "The abrupt cancellation"
Pros: "Much better than the Rome-Dublin leg. A modern plane with entertainment. A boarding process with effective signage and flowing lines. An absolutely top-rate cabin crew. Actually enjoyable food."
Cons: "Really was well done: systems seem to be functioning smoothly and feedback processes are working. One thing I did note was that the waste seemed to be collected without sorting for recycling. Considering you all are on the Emerald (green) Isle, you could take up the mantle of being the "most ecological" airline in the world. It would only take a small amount of messaging."
Pros: "From the moment I arrived I felt very taken care of. Plenty of seating in lounge, with many of them facing runway. People were friendly and accommodating. Food was average. On aircraft, the staff was outstanding."
Cons: "3.5 hr delay due to mechanical issues. Missed connecting flight."
Cons: "------- we were very cold on the plane . ."
Pros: "Have traveled many long haul flights with various airlines in past 6 months. The Aer Lingus food was significantly better than the others. Very tasty."
Cons: "Not enough seating at gate in Dublin and the space needs updating. A complimentary beer or wine with the meals, as provided by other carriers, would be nice."
Cons: "In the US we board by row numbers. With Aer Lingus, the boarding was weird & illogical."
Pros: "What do you say about that loses you luggage both directions. It isn't reliable so that's it for me with aer Linus."
Pros: "The entertainment package was varied, enjoyable and needed for an eleven hour flight. The service was average as was the food."
Cons: "As usual the seats are to small and too close together, front to back. What offends me is that the airline offers a minimal meal and or treats with an occasional offering of water and then turns around and offers to sell you extra food or drinks. Sadly though I believe most airlines operate this way now. I suppose it is what you pay for now. It sure isn't the way it was even a decade ago."
Pros: "The flight was on time"
Cons: "There was one person at the counter, the bus transportation was awful and very hot. We boarded and waited 30 minutes without air going to the plane. No entertainment. The plane was dirty and garbage was left in the seat back pockets."
Pros: "Andrew and Yvonne saved the day."
Cons: "Wifi, entertainment system went down. Some crew members a little slower than others."
Cons: "Food wasn't very enjoyable. Breakfast was very disappointing."
Pros: "I liked the straightforward flight home. Always friendly staff."
Cons: "I also loved that my return flight was changed to a much better convenient time ar no extra cost. I recommend this site for anyone to book their flights and hotels.."
Pros: "Rerouted through London, added five hours to trip"
Cons: "Flight was late out of Toronto making eight people miss the Glasgow connection. Remaining Glasgow flights for the day were full. Aer lingus staff at customer service seemed confused on what to do with us. Finally, after talking to a manager they offered to route us through London to Glasgow. Very frustrating, not sure why they couldn't hold the Glasgow flight to accommodate all of us? It would of been a lot easier for us!!"
Cons: "Delayed flight"
Pros: "Overall an excellent flight. Boarding was quick and easy, cabin service attentive, and everything was efficient."
Pros: "The stewards were very hospitable."
Cons: "a gluten free meal option."
