Because of a problem at the car rental place we were not able to check our bags until 50 minutes before the flight. British Airways would not take the bags and we missed our flights Neither webjet who had booked our flight or British Airways would help us figure out a new flight. We had to buy a whole new flight.
The boarding was prompt. The ground staff were helpful in ensuring that my through luggage had been loaded onto the connecting flight
There was no in flight entertainment, not even a water service after I boarded. They offered a meal purchase but since it was a short flight a meal wasn't necessary. At least a free drink of water should have been offered to the passengers
The flight we ended up taking was just fine. The crew was very nice, most of the food was good, and the seats were comfortable even in stowage.
Our flight was about 10 hours so we got 2 meals, 1 hot 1 cold. The hot meal had a vegetarian option and that was acceptable. The cold meal was a chicken salad sandwich with no other choices. As a vegetarian we tried to take off the chicken salad part and just eat the rest but that didn't leave much. Vegetarian options for all meals would have been nice.

The boarding started late (30 min before supposed departure), took much longer than expected because we needed to use the bus. Then we waited another hour on the tarmac. We were told it would be only a few minutes. Then we were told we would make up for the lost time, but that wasn't true and an additional half hour was lost on a holding pattern at LHR. We missed our connection. The instructions were unclear on what to do (contradiction between flight attendants and ground crew). By the time we picked up new boarding passes, we had already missed that flight as well and had to go to the customer service, which took another 45 min. Flight entertainment didn't work the first hour. There was a high pitched beeping sound during the whole flight (not the regular airplane noise).
There were delays at Heathrow due to fog. Rather then backing up all planes by an hour or so, BA gave our plane away. We experienced a 6 plus hour delay. So after flying for nine hours from the U.S. overnight to London, we had to sit around the airport, while watching other planes take off on time. We got in so late to Madrid that our hotel room that we reserved months earlier was given away. After being awake for over 24 hours we had to walk around Madrid at 11:00 pm at night, looking for someplace to lay our weary heads.

They switched someone into my seat and didn't give me a new seat. It was very hot in the airplane making it very uncomfortable. They also forgot to take my tray before landing and I had to hold it in my lap.

They need to have agents stationed throughout the terminal to help customers make connections. I had 2 hours and I still barely made my flight. The airline representatives are extremely unhelpful and the customs process is an absolute mess in Madrid.
crew took forever to clear up the food that was nasty..took an hour and also took forever to make rounds with coffee and tea. did not time dimming of lights to time of destination to be able to adjust to time difference. lack of bathrooms, on 4 working for a huge coach area. pretty bad experience

I travel often with Brussels Airlines and often run out of movies I want to watch during my trips. Air France has a selection of movies that is 2-3 times the number of movies offered by Brussels.
Sardine tin bus transfers from hell.
They gave us a pillow and blanket so we could sleep. They offered a good selection of movies and other entertainment. The airline staff was friendly and helpful.
Seating was cramped but all airlines treat their three class clients like cattle.
