We were boarded onto the plane after it was nearly an hour and a half late, then waited in out cramped seats for another hour and a half as we continued to wait for the same piece of equipment. At one point a Delta employee announced over the plane's PA system that we'd be getting vouchers to compensate us for this absurd delay, but there was no explanation of how to claim those vouchers."

That part was ok, but they could have changed their seats so my family and i could sit together. I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have minded given they were all on their 4th flight if the day. It seemed that the gate crew was not budging. If my parents hadn’t had 2 seats together my daughter would have had to sit with a stranger. That’s not acceptable."

Went to Delta's website, entered my ticket number and card number but I was not in the system as I was given all WestJet info (not Delta's). Luckily the baggage check in people figured it all out."

Cons: "There was a storm at our destination, Panama City and we were unable to land on time ultimately missing our connecting flight. The crew gave us little to no communication about the situation and when asked they said our connecting flights would wait for us. When we finally did land there was not a gate available. We had to wait for a bus to pick us up and drive to a gate, this took at least 30 minutes. When we finally got to the gate of our connecting flight, we were only 15-20 minutes late. Our flight had already left and the staff directed us to the information desk for assistance. They sent us in the wrong direction. When we got to the correct desk we waited for an hour and a half to be seen, there were at least 30 people behind us. They offered us a flight that wouldn’t arrive to our final destination, San Francisco, for two days. We opted to have them fly us to Miami and then had to purchase our own flight from Miami to San Francisco. When we boarded our flight to Miami later that night we had to wait for over an hour for other passengers and bags that were delayed. Our bags are missing and we had to wait in an another hour long line to submit a claim. Overall it’s been a complete nightmare."

Turned back at the air port in Rio I had to spend an extra 13 days in Rio de Janeiro at my expense, three to see doctor and get vacine, plus ren day waiting period."

Needless to say I was on the hook for the time and the bill. I have flown Copa with satisfaction a number of times but this is enough to discourage me from ever flying them again and possibly ever using Kayak again."

The boarding was on-time and the staff was very nice. Considering the price I paid, the food was totally acceptable. Also, they automatically made my check-in for me and my son the day before our departure (returning back to Montréal) which was a pleasant surprise! I do recommend COPA for a good price/service ratio."

This resulted in a long discussion where I was held on hold until they could adequately determine that yes i missed the flight because they held us late. This was the only way that i was able to avoid their charge to me for being a “no show.”"

The first leg of my flight was operated by Wamos, though it was a LATAM flight. I know that this is something that happens often for all sorts of reasons, however I can’t help but think it had something to do with the transition of my luggage from one flight to the next. My flights home are similar ( One leg of it being operated by another airline) and needless to say I’m a bit nervous about that."

Cons: "We were traveling with 2 children. Seats assigned: rows 15, 18, 32, and 38. Nobody in the crew (from the desk to the plane) was able to solve the problem. We solved it swapping seats with other passengers. We were 4 with 3 carry-on bags. The person who was in charge was very rude. They don't allow us to carry any of them in the cabin and 1 arrived broken. I had no problems like this before, With full flights like this is normal to have to send some luggage that you expect in the cabin to the hold, but in this case the crew was very unclear and rude. The food: it was a short flight and they give us our snack just seconds before the landing. Finally, they lost 1 of our bags. Waiting to see if it appears."

Cons: "I travel a lot and for an international flight during lunch time I expected more than a small sandwich. Small airplane (A320) so no personal screen and tight spaces between seats. Service was ok. Flight ok. I miss big airplanes between Chile and Brasil"

Cons: "I went to Argentina to spend 4 days with my family, wich I didn't see for 2 years. I arrived to Mendoza. I wait until the last suitcase shows. Any of my suitcases arrived. I spent another hour making the complain. I had to come back to the airport in the evening and spent another hour for my baggages. Unfortunate i waist my first day in the airport and only spent 3 days with my family. Also the day that I had to return to USA the LATAN fly was late 1 and a half hour."

Pros: "The staff at the airport was very helpful. I got in the wrong line (domestic instead of international) but they still checked me in and my luggage. I had to go over to the international line to drop my luggage and didn't have to get in line once again. The crew was very nice and I was impressed that we received a meal for a 4 hour flight. Although I understand it was considered an international flight, I wasn't expecting a full blown meal. SUPER GREAT!"

Need to improve communication with passengers."

Cons: "The security check at the gate requires one to leave the comfort of the lounge early incase of queues and then wait in an over crowded lounge with the other passengers (so the fact you are business/first or have one world status does little to ease the burden of boarding. The lounge also did not offer red eye passengers a meal and the on board meal service is slow (so if you are hungry it eats into precious sleeping time). The breakfast wakeup was also disappointing. My meal of choice was not available and the whole process was rushed like a fast food restaurant. Overall I am disappointed by the club world offering on this route and would not pay for it again unless intended to get on and just sleep for the entire journey."

Several hour delayed takeoff after boarding due to multiple maintenance issues and equipment failures."

Special hats off to Freedy who worked on this flight on my way to Canada and was very interactive with us , he made us felt really welcoming , as long as he has to give us his service , Staff keep up the good work. All of you did a fantastic job . Pilot did a great job a few pot holes that was out of his control but all in all a great flight"

Cons: "We had a 30 minute delay for technical reasons leaving JFK and then spent 60 minutes taxiing/waiting to takeoff. During the flight the pilot made up about 15minutes but then a Heathrow circled for 20 minutes this caused us to miss our connecting fight what are it worse is that BAnever todos we had issued our flight even though they knew but the time we landed that we could no take it through security in time . It wa very confusing trying to figure out that we had to reschedule and where and how to do it."

The captain frequently gave us updates and even walked around the plane to answer our questions! Superior customer service..."

Cons: "even though i was at the airport almost 5 hours before the flight - the check in process left me with less than an hour by the time i got through the line twice and then through all the security points - they waited way to late to begin checkin - my kiosk check in was a waste of time since they did the same thing at the window - however, and fortunately for us - they did give us boarding passes for all three legs of the journey whereas the kiosk only gave two - Kuala Lumpur, London and Madrid - because my companion was traveling with a philippines passport we needed to stay airside at all three stops"

Cons: "Customer service was terrible. The flight was overbooked and everyone was treating me as if it were MY fault the plane was oversold and I didn't have a seat. No apologies, no sympathy. It was as if they were doing me a favor by trying to get me on the flight. I had to wait it 4 long lines to get it taken care of and the people working the floor of the check-in area kept directing me to the wrong places. Purchasing a plane ticket on your airline for a specific should be enough to guarantee a seat on a plane. It's absurd that I spent 900 for a ticket and that doesn't guarantee me that I'll be on the flight."
