Pros: "The in flight service was fantastic. The attendants were friendly and always smiling. The pilots flew the plane with Swiss precision. I had an economy ticket and they fed us twice and had at least six beverage passes to keep you hydrated. A blanket, pillow and ear buds were provided as part of the seat. Norwegian Air does not even cover a glass of water. They are pathetic. We will travel with Swiss Air again."

We got to Zurich with 30 minutes to go. We literally ran to get to gate E. We got no help from Swiss employees and got to our gate with 10 min before flight. They said gate was closed. Went to transfer desk, next flight was next day at 1 pm. Missed very important meeting at work that I had planned around for months. Very upset and disappointed. Felt they could have helped us a lot more and got us on our flight."

My carry-on weighed 8 kg, like is required by the rules. While boarding my flight, the woman at the counter told me my bag had to be checked because there were too many carry-ons on the flight. I asked her that I keep my bag because I had medication in there, and she didn't listen to me at all. She just kept repeating that i have to check my bag, and then took my bag from me and gave it to the baggage crew there. I didn't want to make a huge scene because the flight is only 2 hours and I hoped i Could deal without my medication during that time, but I found it incredibly, incredibly rude and awful to not listen to a passenger."

Cons: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Pros: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Cons: "Unaccompanied minor flying to Lisbon overnight. Bag was lost. No real effort to assist. Bags of unaccompanied minor should be treated with priority."

Cons: "Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess."

If KLM are going to charge extra for a window seat, then they should make sure there is a window there! If the seat had actually had a window it would have been an excellent flight."

Cons: "Our flight from Nairobi to Lusaka was cancelled for some reason and we did not find out until we happened to log into the website to double check our itinerary. They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."

Cons: "I was unable to select the 'fare' with a checked bag, so was planning to pay at the counter. I think the site for the airline is buggy, as it was also an ordeal by trial-and-error to try to check in online. I also could not elect to check a bag during the on line check in process, which I know is sometimes an option. When I arrived at the airport, the check in was a mess (ton of people, everyone was taking forever at the counter) and when I FINALLY arrived at the counter, I was informed that I needed to take a handwritten receipt from the check in counter, go up a floor and wind through a few corridors to find some travel agent (?) desk to pay 40 Euros for my checked bag. Which actually was 48 Euros because I needed to use a card, and was not paying by cash. After I managed to find the desk where I needed to pay, I had to wind my way back downstairs and muscle my way back into the line I had already waited in to finish the check in process. When we arrived in Split, 25% of the flight was missing their bags, which included a member of the party I was traveling with. It took an extra 30 minutes at the airport to file a missing bag claim, and another 38 hours for the bag to finally arrive. Not a great way to spend the few days we had in Split."

Then stood in line while one person, who was very slow, was responsible for helping 10 people. The process was very slow. If you paid cash the cost was 40 per bag plus 8 for use of a credit card. Don't understand why the baggage fee can't be paid at the check-in counter. Will not fly CRO again."

We felt intimated and had no other choice but pay up or lose our connecting from Paris. Hence, the bad review, otherwise our experience with the flight and crew were excellent. Hope you can help us get a refund from that unnecessary EUR 70 expense."

Cons: "There was clearly no plan in place for when a flight is cancelled, how to handle all the passengers' needs quickly and efficiently once the decision was made by the airline to cancel that flight. There was not enough staff when they were needed. There should be emergency staff who can come in for such a problem. Meal vouchers, though spoke of, did not get given out. Even if they were, we could not have used them as we were stuck in a very long and very slowly moving line. Over 3+ hours of waiting, no one from the airline came around to offer even water. They did not try to make sure the the lines stayed a single line - too many people tried to cheat and cut in raising anger, making already frustrated and stressful situation even more so."

Pros: "The crew worked above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy. Our seats were comfortable, the food was actually edible and quite delicious! I had one of my favorite flights with Lufthansa!"
