Price gouging, charging airport fees but not in airport, Rates change after ask extension but never advised of this prior, charged card on file multiple times daily without authorization, say called never received, When I called could have advise of increasing rates not offered weekly best rates had to schedule another promotion online for better rate then declined insurance but first time was not a problem second had to use their insurance for $90 plus more which I thought was alot. Online showed insurance added $11 day should have been like $44. I didn't bother going back and forth with the pricing need transportation until mine out shop. Manager Owner information on business card never answered cell. Agent T. declined to provide corporate number stated have no clue what it is. Upfront pricing instructions of changed rates going up if extension and billing card without authorization daily instead of offering weekly best rates price gouging, not in airport but charging fees like they are. Pros: the price was excellent Cons: - the car smelled like smoke - the checkout process took a while. I’ve never had this happen before but they called my car insurance company to confirm that my insurance was valid. They were on hold and had to be transferred a couple times and then they had me talk to the agent. - pickup was complicated. There were no signs for Ace in the airport for shuttles, and they didn’t have a counter at the airport like the other car rental places. I had chosen the airport location so I thought there would be something indicating what to do. I ended up calling the number on my reservation and finally was able to talk to a person who gave me a number to call to figure out the shuttle. Also looking at the reservation I saw that it was really close to 6pm when the place closed so instead we ordered an Uber to take us. -drop off was complicated. Based on our pickup experience we called ahead and asked for the shuttle to be ready to take us to the airport at 1:45pm. We arrived at 1:43 and the shuttle didn’t come until 2. At that point we were running late. We asked the driver multiple times to take us to southwest in the departures area. He started going towards arrivals and we yelled to take us to departures but he just took us to arrivals instead and seemed very confused.Reviewed 8 Sep. 2021
