Shuttle experience was good; not long to wait. Once on site of rental car, service was mediocre. Rep treated us like we were trying to take advantage and he kept repeating the policy even though we were not arguing the fact of paying extra fees. He just didn’t have the best customer service attitude. He chose the worst car when he found out it was a one-way rental; the car was missing a hubcap and was not the best comfort ride in the interstate.Reviewed 22 Jul 2024

Will never use Ace again. I called to get a shuttle to pick me up and the gentleman repeatedly hung up on me or couldn’t explain where I should get the shuttle. He then proceeds to tell my husband, who was finally able to get some information from him after he repeatedly hung up on me, that there are no cars available and we would have to wait for two hours. We never got a car with Ace and I never will in the future. We used another company with far better service.Reviewed 7 Jul 2024

Title: Disappointing Experience at Ace Wilkinson Blvd If you’re considering renting from here, be aware of the following issues: Limited Mileage: When booking online with the unlimited mileage option, there are restrictions on which states you can drive to. At this location, unlimited miles are limited to only the Carolinas and Virginia. If you plan to travel to Georgia or other states, additional fees apply. I’m aware that other rental agencies (not all) also do this but still… don’t call it unlimited if it’s not unlimited. Hidden Fees: Upon pickup, I also encountered several unexpected charges. For example, despite not using airport services, an airport concierge fee was added to the charges. When questioned, the local office couldn’t provide a satisfactory explanation for this particular fee, so I did not bother to follow-up with questions for several of the other fees that also seemed like padding, these fees increased my total bill to more than 1/3 of the original booking price. Defective Vehicle: This was the most concerning issue. What happened? I booked a full-size sedan, while doing the walk around inspection, I noticed that one of the front bumper clips was missing, causing the end section of the bumper to hang loose enough that the wind could cause further damage while driving. When I brought this to the rep's attention, he acted like this was not a cause for concern. I had to insist that this was unacceptable and that I could not take responsibility for a defective vehicle. He then tried to replace the vehicle with a smaller vehicle type. The issue here is that he wanted to charge me the same rate for a smaller car and insisted that this was the only vehicle he had available. I felt that it was unfair to charge at the same rate, so I ended up cancelling and had to make other plans. So no, I would not recommend.Reviewed 6 Jun 2024

Only issue was the car class I purchased was not originally provided, but the wonderful lady at check-in remedied the situation immediately. Wasn't her fault - the computer information did not match my reservation. She was great and all went seamlessly thereafter.Reviewed 17 May 2024

I am dissatisfied with ACE. Upon arrival at the airport, I requested a shuttle from ACE, only to be informed that they were fully booked and unable to accommodate me, despite my February booking and confirmation number. This experience was terrible the first rental car I was given had a check car light on, cigarette holes in the seat and missing things cosmetically. The vechile I exchanged for had a high debt and scratch on the side. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with this company or any rental company. I paid over $100 for a week to drive around in a messed up car. I want this issue examine and looked at. Also I would like a refund.Reviewed 3 Jan 2024
