This was a Hertz/Dollar combo place so keep that in mind but that is how it goes at the PVR airport. I was coerced very strongly to buy additional insurance even though I already had adequate coverage for what is required. The rental price shown at the counter was higher than booking by $30 or so and attempts to demonstrate were summarily ignored.Reviewed 9 Jan. 2024

Cons:Despite the fact that I had made a reservation for a vehicle, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle I was informed that they did not have any cars available for me and they could not estimate when a car would be available nor could they help me to locate another vehicle to rent. Pros:Our van was not ready for the day requested, so the staff lent us their shuttle van so we were not stranded, or incite extra costs for taxis. This was appreciated, particularly given the price deception.Cons:The price advertised was dramatically less than what was actuality. While this was a red flag, it remains categorically price deceptive. Beyond this, we were expected to participate in a timeshare presentation.Reviewed 25 Feb. 2019
