Booking was a snap and the car we drove was great. But…the desk people we encountered didn’t know what they were doing. I had prepaid, then they charged my credit card again -more than the original cost, called their 1-800 line and got no answers. They kept saying it was my fault for not questioning them. I DID QUESTION THEM AND GOT NO ANSWERS. Everyone I encountered kept passing me off to the next person. VERY frustrating. NEVER AGAIN! They still owe me almost $300.00 😡Reviewed 7 Jun. 2022

The pick up process was horrible. Didn’t have the car I had reserved. Despite me checking in online, the paperwork process was slow and disorganized. After i agreed to take a different kind of vehicle, no price adjustment was offered. Then, had to re-do the entire pick up process. Only then did they say the type of car I had ordered had been returned, so went through the entire process again. From that point on, everything was fine. Good vehicle. The car was in horrific condition cleanliness as well as under the hood i presume and being a single woman driving through ice snow ect i felt beyond unsafe i returned the car early and didnt even fret about the 10$/gal gas total. I drove quite slow the entire time worst rental ever and i will not use the company again.Reviewed 8 Jan. 2022

The pick up and drop off details were incorrect on our confirmation, so the Hertz desk at the airport wouldn’t let us collect a car from them. They sent us to a different location and we ended up spending over $50 on Ubers trying to find it. When we got there the people on the desk were very rude and blamed us, even after I showed them the documentation we had been sent which had the incorrect information on it.Reviewed 28 Dec. 2021

At Midway we were sent to get our car to find it was not there. We were given another car but it did take more time then we had hoped. The car we got drove fine but was not very clean (sticky on parts of the door) and had a very heavy cleaner smell which made me wonder if someone had smoked in the car or thrown up. The car also made it whistling sound even though all the windows up. Bottom line- the car was safe to drive and got us to where we needed to go but was that pleasant. When we went to return the car that was also in ordeal as a drop off key box was not an option and we have been told it had been. We were eventually able to text the branch manager and came up an alternative plan this again took much more time than planned.Reviewed 26 Dec. 2021

My flight got in late and the Hertz office at Midwsy was already closed. Even though it was nobody's fault and I had go rent a more expensive car from another provider, Priceline-Kayak refused to give us a refund...totally unreasonable!?Reviewed 3 Oct. 2021
