Really easy pick up & drop off with friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean car. The only downside was that the office closed at 12 on the day we wanted to drop off meaning we had to get back a couple of hours earlier than we would have done otherwise.Reviewed 26 Sep. 2022

I was allowed to make the reservation, and was then phoned by a very rude rep. No apologies, no attempt to accommodate. “We do not have any cars available”. And hung up the phone. I will not use Hertz again.Reviewed 11 Oct. 2021

Pros:Hertz employee was super helpful. She let me view the car before signing, and helped us review other options when we saw the trunk wasn't going to work with our 4 bags -- making special care to use any discounts we were eligible for through insurance, etc.Reviewed 12 Jun. 2018

Pros:not a single thing.Cons:When I showed up at my rental time to pick up my rental for a wedding I was in later that day, I was told "sorry, there were no more cars on the lot for the day, so there would be no car for me. When I started to question the agent, she said "you could go walk the lot and see for yourself if you don't believe me". She said there might be a cargo van i could use, but it would only take one passenger, which I needed room for more. After asking her what she suggest I do, she walked away without explanation, later returning with another agent simply telling him "he wants to talk to you" This new man told me I was "lucky" because someone had just returned a car I could take, but it didn't have a chance to get cleaned and the gas tank was only half full. having no other choice, I took the car and was not even walked out to the car or showed which car it was. I had to hit the button on the key in the parking lot. when I got in the car, there were sticky stains all over the interior, the gas tank was completely empty and the gas light was on, and the passenger seatbelt alarm beeped the entire time, even though there was no one in the passenger seat most of the time. As someone who travels bi-weekly for work, I have never experienced anything like this, especially such poor customer service. The $200 deposit taken from my credit card has yet to be returned, and another $50 charge was attempted.Reviewed 6 Sep. 2017
