Needed another set of wheels for a couple of weeksPros:The rental process was easy and the car was fine. All we needed was a bucket with four wheels and an engine and that's exactly what we got. Car was new and in good working order. No complaints. We were in and out both on pick-up and drop-of in just a few minutes.Cons:The location in Poughkeepsie is kind of a pain to get to. The facility itself was fine: a basic little building next to a parking lot. it's just it's location off the Route 9 strip that was a detraction. I don't really like the gasoline policy. We got the car with a third of a tank and were told we could return it with a third of a tank. There were all sorts of options about buying gas up front, blah blah blah. That adds a bit of guess work. Just give me a full tank and require it to be full upon return. None of this gasoline gamesmanship, please.Reviewed 7 Sep. 2016

Pros:not a single thing.Cons:When I showed up at my rental time to pick up my rental for a wedding I was in later that day, I was told "sorry, there were no more cars on the lot for the day, so there would be no car for me. When I started to question the agent, she said "you could go walk the lot and see for yourself if you don't believe me". She said there might be a cargo van i could use, but it would only take one passenger, which I needed room for more. After asking her what she suggest I do, she walked away without explanation, later returning with another agent simply telling him "he wants to talk to you" This new man told me I was "lucky" because someone had just returned a car I could take, but it didn't have a chance to get cleaned and the gas tank was only half full. having no other choice, I took the car and was not even walked out to the car or showed which car it was. I had to hit the button on the key in the parking lot. when I got in the car, there were sticky stains all over the interior, the gas tank was completely empty and the gas light was on, and the passenger seatbelt alarm beeped the entire time, even though there was no one in the passenger seat most of the time. As someone who travels bi-weekly for work, I have never experienced anything like this, especially such poor customer service. The $200 deposit taken from my credit card has yet to be returned, and another $50 charge was attempted.Reviewed 6 Sep. 2017

Closed on holidays, will charge you an extra day.Pros:It was in Poughkeepsie.Cons:They are closed on the holidays, but will allow you to book a drop off date for them. Then they will charge you however many days between when you dropped off the keys, and when they come back from holiday because they weren't able to "close out your contract."Reviewed 12 Sep. 2016
