Hertz moved offices but didn't update me (or the seven other hertz customers who went to the same old address the same day). Hertz gave away my car and then charged me more for an upgrade as my only option. Enterprise across the street from the old Hertz address was kind to give me a free ride to the new Hertz address. I'll def go Enterprise next time no matter the extra cost. Relatability matters!Reviewed 23 Oct. 2022

Front desk worker was not pleasant to work with at all. Car smelt horribly of smoke so took two hours out of our day to exchange it. Was told I could exchange at any hertz location but 2 of the 3 locations listed on their website were no longer in business so we spent a good amount of time just driving to different locations. I will NOT be booking through Hertz again. I’ve had flawless experiences with car rentals other places in the past so I am certain Hertz is not worth it.Reviewed 5 Jun. 2022

A lot could have been better. From not accomodating the price, to the deposit and being told that the deposit is on the website but "we needed to look". The teller we had wasn't mean, was trying to do his best, but the experience wasn't the best. And my best friend got her email until the next morning when the car was dropped off in the afternoon.Reviewed 17 May 2022

I requested an AIRPORT pick-up and drop-off. YOU arranged for my car at a distant location. VERY inconvenient! Was presented with a Nisson Pathfinder - a good vehicle for my purposes this trip. The tires were very worn but still "legal." After a week the driver's window malfunctioned [in the down position] and I wanted to take it to their service location. I liked the car.] Instead, they replaced it with an older Kia that was a small suv. Not the best fit for a tall person, etc. The Kia hadn't been cleaned [candy wrappers and 1 candy bar under the seat. However that wasn't the worst - it smelled of tobacco smoke. Every time I get in, I have to adjust to that.] Overall? I'm very disappointed in the way this rental has turned out.Reviewed 27 Nov. 2021

GEORGE THE MANAGER located on Burnet Ave in Syracuse cancelled my reservation after I said I need a van to travel to Florida. He said he could get me something similar, such as an 8 passenger SUV.. I told him that this would not work because we are relocating to Florida. I said cancel the SUV and George cancelled the entire reservation. I was so pissed off that used some expletive's toward George at the end of our conversation but nevertheless he could have tried to help me right from the beginning, as a opposed to being indifferent and a care less attitude. So in the end your company lost out on a one way van rental to Naples Florida in the approximate amount of 674.00.
