Pros: The room was very nice after we requested to move from one which was near the elevator on the 3rd floor with absolutely NO view to one on a higher level with a better view and larger room. The bathroom, although small for a suite, was above average and stocked with ample amount of towels. I enjoyed the large screen smart tv in room.
Cons: The check in was awkward and the staff did not greet right away. Also the housekeeping staff is not as friendly as other hotels I have stayed at. Lastly when the bellman brought down our belongings we noticed they were unattended near the check in desk where anybody could’ve easily taken something.

Pros: The room was very nice and the comfortable. We ate at the Kani Ka Pila Grill 2 evenings and for 1 breakfast. Everything we ate was very good and the service was good. The Mai Tais were awesome. Be sure to go for Happy Hour, great food and drink prices with live entertainment. There is more live entertainment in the evenings.We heard 3 different groups and all were excellent.
Cons: We were disappointed in the Shore Bird Restaurant. The mai tais were so good at the grill that we ordered them here and were very disappointed. We regretted ordering the buffet. It was okay but not for what we paid (even considering island prices. Can only hope ordering off the menu would be better. It is very difficult to walk in the water in front of the hotel, water shoes are highly recommended. we later learned that just down the beach it was a sandy bottom. Wish someone had shared that with us,

Cons: We paid for a ocean front view sweet and got stuck with a hotel view of the other side of the hotel. The room was made for handicapped people and there was nothing sweet about it. I paid an extra 200 dollars for an oceanfront view and I feel like a got screwed. Also they charged me 38 bucks for parking and 31 dollars on a resort fee, and the hotel that was suppose to be on Wikiki was actually on a different beach. This was our last night on our honeymoon and the hotel sent me an email at midnight to with them about the room and I didnt see the email till the next day when we had no time to talk due to the flight we needed to catch. Also the shower head was busted and it took over 20 minutes to get our rental car from the valet.

Pros: Located right on the beach with plenty of activities avail. Much more secluded and private compared to downtown. I think this location is more upscale compared to the other Outrigger Beach. We did have a great view of the pool and could leave the door open for the lani then listen to the nightly entertainment. Everything to eat and shop is in walking distance. They were very welcoming upon arrival with a cool towel and a mango drink. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. This is for sure my go-to place in Waikiki.
Cons: The only think I could say.... Would be the servers poolside. I gave him my money and it took about 15/20 mins before he came back with my drink.... I ended up going to the bar myself the rest of my stay and the bartenders were excellent, friendly, quick, and much better.

Pros: Good location with easy access to waikiki beach. Has a Food Pantry supermarket next door. Has ethnic restaurants close buy like a very popular Udon place. Having a small balcony was nice. Gold/Platinum breakfast benefit included either a basic buffet with omelets and the like, or you could use it for a specific number of drinks with fruit or a breakfast sandwich at the market in the lobby. The buffets had good OJ and Pineapple Juice. Hotel has free coffee/tea and flavored water in the lobby at breakfast or during checkin time.
Cons: Checkin agent didn't recognize status and would have not given us our breakfast vouchers if i had not asked, that also promoted the offer of two free waters based on our status (gold). Breakfast was the same both days. Also a bit surprised that the only asian influence to breakfast was plain white rice. I would have thought that there would be some other asian influence to the buffet.

Walked over to front desk & discussed options to get to Kailua beach. Front desk guys were super nice & gave great recommendations that made my trip great.

I live in a noisy area anyways so this was ok for me. The pillows though were soooo terrible. Flat awful things. Really, they were the only bad part of the trip.

Cons: Hotel I found did not match up to the exterior picture and is so very different from the other local Hilton. It is away from the beach and in a busy road traffic area away from attractions. Ocean view room is from a distance over parking lots and between buildings. In room WiFi is about $10 a day and no buffet breakfast or bathrobe.

Pros: I actually like the location. Smack dab in the middle of a lot of the areas we went to. The room was fairly cozy and nice and spacious for the king suite. The appliances were not new of course but they were good and functional. For example the fridge wasn't stainless but wasn't expecting that, but it does get cold. Bed is very comfy, no problems falling asleep after a long day of walking. AC was functional and can get cold, multi-function. Helped with the dehumidifier and fan function. Gave us a DVD kiosk that was included in the room stay. Loved the small pond by the front desk, little turtles and large koi. One thing I loved was we booked our stay in a suite and it came with 2 full size beds. Went down and asked if we can get a king bed and since the rooms arent available to change beds, they gladly changed Ros for us. Did a great job accommodating our needs! All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: A serious upgrade on their wireless is needed. There is a wireless in each room which is nice but it likes to cut off waaaay too much. If you want a large pool, you won't find it here. We didn't end up going to Hawaii to swim in a hotel pool so it didn't effect our stay. Since the hotel is in the middle of the city, won't really matter where you stay, the view wasn't great.

Pros: I booked the room through Kayak for $1000 ‘Total.’ When I arrived I was informed there was an additional $225 ‘resort free.’ When I protested the receptionist said I was threatening and she felt unsafe and that she would not check me in though I had already paid. She said since I had booked through Kayak it wasn’t her problem and I’d have to figure out how to get my money back. When I demanded refund due to refusal of service she threatened to call the police. I said that was fine and waited five minutes for the police to arrive. During this whole time she stood two feet away from me obviously not feeling at all threatened. Then we went through the process of filing a police report which was great. I ended up staying at Coconut Hotel down the street without incident which I would recommend. It took me about an hour phone call with the booking agency to get my money back from Aqua. Absolutely terrible experience with Aqua Oasis.

Pros: This hotel is a great value for the money. It is walking distance from restaurants, bars and shopping. It's very clean and includes a couple little extras (PS3 in room, DVD rentals, continental breakfast). Parking is available for a fee. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to relatives and anyone who comes to visit me here in Hawaii.
Cons: My car was towed after being valet parked. It was a big hassle the morning it happened because I had to go pick it up myself and I missed an appointment. But the manager and the valet who discovered the issue were both pro-active in taking care of everything. They both called to follow-up the next day. They paid the taxi to the towing place, reimbursed my towing fee and refunded the parking fees I had paid and gave me a goody bag and gift certificate for a future stay. I definitely feel like I was compensated for the inconvenience caused and because of the way they handled the situation I will likely be back again.

It's also not a mega hotel, so the number of people wasn't too overwhelming. The delicious muffins were a very nice touch, as well as the staff attention on the pool deck. Great location.

Pros: I liked the location. It's right next to the mcdonalds if you're hungry for a cheap meal, especially if you don't want to spend $35 for the breakfast buffet that they offer at the hotel. But if you get a free deal for the breakfast buffet if you book through Expedia or a third party website , it's definitely worth it. There's a parking garage connected to the hotel but it'll cost you $25/night. It's also super close to the Hyatt and international market. And the beach is 1 min walk. You just have to cross a stoplight. Diamond Head and the zoo are close too. I would uber to diamond Head if it's later in the day cuz parking can go fast. But the zoo is walkable.

If you book an Ocean-front room on a higher floor in the Eastern-most tower, you'll have the classic view most can only dream of from your balcony or even inside the room. Besides the obvious beach across the street, within a few blocks walk, you'll find dozens of restaurants and high-end shops, as well as the Honolulu bus transit line. Timely response to the only need we presented was commendable. Wifi worked well, also.
Cons: Room service neglected to replace the coffee pod on one of the days the room was cleaned. We didn't notice until the following morning when it was time to make coffee. When visiting the fitness room, one of the two elliptical trainers had a broken display. This made it impossible to use in any mode other than manual.

Cons: The hotel itself was hard to find. There are no signs showing the name of the hotel, an address, nothing. After literally passing it about 5 times, I accidentally saw the name of the hotel around the back on a small sandwich board. You have to enter from the back if you have a car and pay $25 to park. So the hotel itself is decent looking both inside and out, and it is in a great location, literally like 2 blocks from the beach. However, the hotel is ancient, and they do little to no upkeep. The elevator was rickety. The room itself wasn't bad. Big bed, but thankfully there were 5 pillows because they were totally flat. There was a fridge, that almost kept water semi-chilled if you kept it in the freezer part. There was a tiny air conditioner, on the floor that almost kept the room manageable. There was a great balcony, however, you couldn't leave the door open to get the good breeze because there was no screen. The bathroom was minuscule, and clearly had seen better days. The paint was coming off of the ceiling and everything needed an update. Oh and the best part, if you are going there to have a romantic evening, that is good, because there is only one tiny lamp in the room with a really dim bulb for mood lighting. However if you are trying to read a map or make plans for the next day, you better doing during daylight because that one pitiful lamp wasn't enough to read anything. Overall, the place was clean, there were no bugs, for the most part you couldn't hear other people, and once you found the hotel, the location was great. So if you just need a place to crash while you are staying on the island doing other things, it is worth staying. If you are going there for the great things the hotel has to offer, you might want to try elsewhere.

The staff are excellent, very cordial, helpful, gave me a detailed idea about dining, moving, taking transport and even provided changes. However, beware the hotel charges around $11 every night, (for internet which is below par, a newspaper focusing on Hawaiian news only and a coffee machine with Hawaiian coffee that I never tried) whether you want those amenities or not and irrespective of the type of room you stay or site you book through (priceline, hotwire, expedia, anything). The hotel has a tiny family friendly pool on the 4th floor. The location is terrific, most buses stops there, and everybody knows the hotel by name, the beach is just 10 minutes walk, and the whole shopping area starts after the hotel and beyond. Caution: PLEASE DON'T GET FOOLED BY THE PICTURES OF THE ROOMS YOU SEE, those are only on the top floors, other rooms are much smaller and with less amenities. If anybody has the time please say that to hotwire and Expedia, thanks.

My husband was upset so the night time manager came out and talked to us. He was nice enough to get in our car & show us where the parking was for the Ohana East. Unfortunately he was wrong and told us to turn onto a one way alley street, in the wrong direction. After my husband had to reverse out if there we found the parking garage for the Ohana East When I mentioned to the Ohana East front desk staff that the Sheraton sent us here because they over booked, he said they had overbooked by FOURTY rooms !!! I would suggest you book directly thru the hotel if you want to stay here. Finding somewhere else to stay would probably be best.

Pros: My family enjoyed a great stay at the Sheraton. All the employees that I dealt with were amazing. A certain front desk person I believe named Andy was awesome. He remembered my name upon checkout and also saw to it that a package that I was expecting in the mail got to my room immediately upon arrival. Angie at the pool was a great server. And one day they forgot to clean our room, but after a call to the front desk someone was in our room within a few minutes to tidy the place up. All employees certainly seemed to care a great deal for people staying at the hotel.

We pretty much had to ask for the attention. So we weren’t too happy with the experience.
