Large choice of food provided at breakfast buffet. I’m glad that 4 bath towels were provided everyday (I always find it slightly inconvenient at most properties that even though 3 people are staying in the room, they only always provide 2 bath towels - don’t children need a bath towel too?

Cons: The only set back for me was the lift key access, we always had difficulty when the key access did not read and we couldn’t press our floor, especially when there are others in the lift as well. This happened at least 3 times during our short stay...even had to ride the lift when we missed our floor, and then go to the reception to get our keys reprogrammed. I noticed some other guests were also having problem with their key access in the lift as well. Key access slot was also set too low...and I am only 5 feet tall...

Cons: The hotel is old and you can feel it..the walls, furniture and some facilities. TVs are old and their entertainment software is out dated. The fact that no one receives you and escort you to your table in the breakfast buffet is annoying as you end up searching for tables as if you are in a food court Also another point I noticed only in this hotel, is that you have to go and prepare your tea or coffee..they dont offer you this on your table...so you feel like just enter the buffet and you are at your own. Search and fight for your table and everything else. This doesn't mea that their breakfast buffet is not good, its actually very good No swimming pool for kids plus the swimming pool area is so tight and narrow. Designed to be for a bar not as a proper swimming facility. The fitness center is so small and out dated so if you care about your fitness and wanna continue your workout during tour stay then the gym facility will not help that much. Hotel has a great location and staff..I recommend to focus on their property by doing some renovations and upgrades

The bar is in the pool room and it is crowded,humid, and not relaxing......an outdoor pool would be better.However we were told on last day that we could have used another shangrila hotel pool if we had wanted. We were also told on check we could have 2 pieces laundry done as part of club package...then we were charged in check out as apparently “ laundry “ means pressing only ? Bit ridiculous.

There were only 2 staff dedicated to helping the SPG Gold Platinum members, which was a line of atleast 10 ppl on the day. I was obviously frustrated by this service and the frustration was evident on every customer's face.
- The A/C in the room was below par. Even after requesting the hotel to have it checked out, nothing changed in the cooling. In the blistering humidity of KL, a below par A/C is a sleeper's worst nightmare.

Whilst it was on top of a shopping mall which was convenient the surrounding areas were run down. The hotel was well below expectations. The pictures of the pool area looked good but in reality it wasn't great. The jacuzzi wasn't warm and there were leaves all over the pool area. The breakfast area was very busy and the food wasn't marvelous. The room albeit was large was run down and the furniture was tired and needed repairing.

The room itself is big, clean and it is the best place to relax and rest after a very tiring day tour. The location is good, near to bars, the Petronas Twin Towers, groceries and convenient stores. Cons: The first time here, we did not know where the reception was, two towers, went to the wrong one to find the reception, which as at the second floor. Some signage would help. Also, some loud drilling noise due to some works upstairs from 11 am to 4 pm for the three days as told upon our arrival. Otherwise, it is a thumbs up place.

Cons: The Hotel provides a Service called "Earth" which was actually not working. If you put this sign Onto your room door the towels and sheets are not exchanged cause there is no need from your Point of view. We put this sign on our door everyday But received new towels everyday .. :( if you provide such a service you should stick to it) There was a little dust on the lamps in the bathroom. If you are going to have breakfast in a timespan where a lot of people want to eat breakfast you should bring some patience because in "Rush hour" you have to wait for the elevators! 3 elevators to serve the complete Hotel is not enough!

What a standard! The key cards were also not correct one. I struggled at the elevator for a while then get back to front desk to fix it again. I was so tired and this is unacceptable. The day after, we came down for breakfast and it was so crowded. Understandable. Though staff asked me to go to another restaurant instead, but we found out that another restaurant only serve few choices of breakfast which is incomparable to the main one. Why doing so? They could have either add extra desks/area or ask us to wait or call us down later when it's ready. They must already aware how many room had been booked and how crowded it would be but they have not prepared at all.

Cons: As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member I was not happy with my stay. 1. I checked in online and it still took 15 minutes to get my key. 2.Upgraded to a suite but when I opened the door to my room on 21st floor, the room was under construction. Went back to reception and got issued a normal room with a promise that I would be upgraded the following day when I got back in the evening after work. I packed my bags as was in informed that my room would be changed while I was working. 3.When I got back, reception had no idea about the proposed room change and my bags were still in my small room. 4. After asking to speak with the manager, I was told that no upgrade was available but they were working on it. 1 hour later, guest services came to my room and moved me to a suite. 4. So with my new keys in hand, I went to meet a colleague at the Club Lounge and my new keys would not allow me access. Again I went to the reception and it took 10 minutes to issue me a key that would access the lounge. Ridiculous. Will never visit again. This property is in trouble and most of it is focused on reception deficiencies. | am truly disgusted.

Cons: .. most other things were either just average or below average .. the rooms had a very dated look .. furniture was old ... things in the wall were loose .. couple of times when i connected my laptop the outlet actually came out of the wall .. when we ordered room service they would not charge it to the room .. when i gave him a credit card he was not happy .. worst of course was the WiFi .. it was so poor that it was almost not usable .. if i was on a business trip i would have been livid .. even here i had to use the data on my cell phone since it was faster than their wifi! Overall except for the price .. i would not recommend .. at a slightly higher price i am sure you can get better accommodation ...

Pros: all the facilities were commendable..its like a five star hotel..value for money.. cleanliness was at its peak, comfortable and convenient location wise..kiddy pool is the best!! staff was kind enough to let us check in at 9am at request, otherwise checkin time throughout malaysia is 3pm.. hotel kept our luggage till we are gone to other cities and our flight is back from KL.. hotel is quite under rated ...in actual it is a very good hotel with all basic facilties... last but not the least breakfast was good..

Cons: The equipment in the room is old and faulty, I requested technical stuff to fix the plug in the bathroom and it takes me 3 calls and 5 hrs before someone came and fix the plug. The sink plug is faulty as well, have to pull out the plug to clear the water. The lever is damage. Technical stuff fix it and it got depress once water pressure goes up and get stuck again. They are overbooked and understaff, call for room service. After I left the hotel and came back after 5 hrs still no one came. For a 5 star hotel, its very bad.
