Previous flight with Cathay from LAX was delayed thus missing this flight to KL by 12 hours. This in turn missed other travel arrangements from KL. They did provide overnight accommodation in Hong Kong.
Cathay has always been great. Even allowed some leniency on my baggage weight. I believe they are also on the more leg room side of airlines.
Missed our flight with Cathay due to late Westjet plane and chaotic Toronto airport. Had to clear customs get bags and re check bags in an hour. Did not make it got lost not clear signage with bag drop off. West jet only allowed 1 checked bag for this international fluid. Cathay checked my second bag for free.
Boarding on any airline is a hot mess. Load your pivilaged passengers, then back to front. Back to front.
The flight experience was good for a long flight over the pole, but it got my wife to the Far East in time.
Problems with entertainment system eventually rectified. Cabin crew attentive and polite but a bit absent minded when it came to remembering requests, salt, sugar etc.
We flew economy light. We did not want to check bags and we had free 1 bag, but just had back packs with small personal item. Try as we may could only get bags down to 17lbs each. So we put 2 lbs from one bag into other and checked it. I think if someone has a checked bag allowance and chose not to use it , it would benefit both parties to bump carry on weight up to the next level of 22lbs or 10kgs. Just a thought.
Trip was fine. My only complaint was that when the passenger in front of me reclined her seat (which was, in essence, the whole flight except landing and take-off,) it was uncomfortably claustrophobic for me and very difficult for my husband to get in and out of his window seat. Also uncomfortable to watch the entertainment because the screen was right in your face.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food was great. Lots of movies and tv shows to choose from. Highly recommend.
Cathay much better than other options Imigration was a total mess on arrival in KL but not Cathay s fault
Turkish Airlines made a long flight from YVR to IST a great flying experience. From the attendants, to the food, to the entertainment program to all the extras, a twelve hour flight ‘flew by’. Late departure and arrival was not the airline’s fault.
Boarded via bus instead of the air bridge Had to wait 10mins in the bus at the tarmac before we were allow to go up
The flight attendants were great! The seating for business class is better on other airlines. The food was also good!
Great food, great entertainment and very helpful, caring & attentive staff.
Food is getting worse. They use to be different than other airlines. Their economy classes food sucks. Stuff was very helpful.
Horrible, they forgot our luggage, the food was terrible, the crew were rude, the flight was delayed, I hated every aspect of this flight
The flight was delayed so connection was missed. In Istanbul we were taken to a hotel and no one in the hotel knew so we had to wait hours in the lobby of the hotel while the airline and hotel coordinated. The airline staff is rude at times
The checking line was very long , when checked the bags and got the boarding pass but moved fairly fast . The boarding line was long and the ground crew didn’t provide priority to kids boarding . But the air crew on the plane were very nice and polite . Too bad my daughter’s table try was broken which made the trip less enjoyable.

The website check in was poor. Baggage fees were in US dollars but registered in Canadian dollars. The site would not accept my credit card. Scanning the passport was the worst. Someone from United needs to try the process. I’m not a novice with tech and I have to say this was a bad experience. Everything else was great.
We boarded the plane and were about to take off when we were notified that the tires had to be checked. Upon inspection, they were found to need replacement, so the entire plane had to be deboarded. After we exited the plane, United staff forced us to stay in the gate area by posting "Do Not Exit" signs on the doors connecting the gate area to the terminal. Many of us had already rebooked our flights and had no checked bags, but they told us we could not leave. This seemed inappropriate to hold people under false pretenses. When the agent told us we could leave, I asked them to please take down the "Do Not Exit" signs, as they were misleading. The agent refused, and I told them that it didn't feel right to hold people like that.
Friendly crew, but we were delayed for more than an hour and had to change planes due to maintenance issues.
Prefer not to have an almost 3 hour delay with useless communication that wasn't accurate.
Boarding was smooth and efficient. The only food was some pretzels, but it was a short flight. Not much to order if you were hungry.
Crew were welcoming, accommodating and they worked hard to find places for all carry on.
Seats very comfortable; service efficient and pleasant; flight was on-time; boarding organized.

Provide some Asian movies.....Chinese or Taiwan or some of the International films winners and better documentaries
I didnt experience it but i saw them and heard that some are not good in customer service. They dont know how to talk with respect and in a nice way.with persons who needs it. Especially with seniors and people who does not know how to speak english that much.
Expensive and yet uncomfortable. Was told by the crew to get back to us for the breakfast meal but never returned, my child was hungry

The crew were lovely and also attentive. The food was overcooked and hard to enjoy. Slept well enough .....so the seats are comfortable for sleeping and sitting.
The food was ordinary, this could be improved. Sleeping was comfortable enough for several hours sleep. The layover time in Manila Mabuhay lounge for 17 hours was awful. Surely I could have been given a flight to Perth within that time on another airline. At 74 years of age I find that far too long and stressful and will probably not travel with Philippine Airlines again for that reason. The food offering on board and in the lounge was also a little underwhelming. The crew were wonderful and the flight comfort was good also.
The checkin was unacceptable. Agent took about 3-5 min minutes with me, standing in front of her, and not in acknowledging my presence. Finally, when she started processing my check in as a priority passenger, she neglected to give me a lounge pass until I reminded her . when I went to the lounge, they didn’t have me registered. However, the agent there still accepted me Did not tag my luggage as priority, so I had to wait until almost the very end before my luggage appeared. My Wi-Fi as premier elite did not work. This was not a good start to my lengthy flight.
Philippine Airlines needs to do better in giving access to wheelchair. My uncle is PWD and they let him walk to boarding. It happened both inbound and outbound flights
Free wifi or cheaper wifi rate will be better. Or upgrade your entertainment system.
Everything was ok except that one of my checked in baggage which was new lost 2 of its wheels and so I filed a complaint and hope they would give comoensation. otherwise, everything was good!
If I’m gonna sit in the 39th row You might as well let me on after the first class passengers Especially if I have no luggage for overhead Just a thought
Noticed a marked difference in keg room from last flight. Would consider other airline on next red eye.
Delay caused us to miss connecting flight and 3 hour layover. All connecting flights my wife and I couldn’t sit together. Once arrived luggage arrived 4 days later
The baggage drop-off for Air Canada in Toronto for passengers flying international was terrible. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. The line was ridiculous; there was no one to help facilitate people avoid confusion, and the baggage system for the line I finally ended up in had to be re-booted right as I got to it.
Flight got canceled. Instead of the booking me for the next flight at night I was booked for the following day at a later time. I was able to fly out that night because I had to call and deal with a human!!!

Enjoyed the A330 comfort, and the inseat entertainment. Horrible disembarking experience. No gate when we landed to sat on tarmac for 40 minutes, and missed my train.
The old business class seat was fine but screens were disconnected with stickers on them telling pax to use their own devices. Disappointing.

ANA was amazing. The service, food, and newer plane made it a comfortable flight. I misplaced something on a dinner tray that was already collected and the crew went through each one so we actually found it! :) kudos!
