Cons:
The car I rented was not available. There was only one other option. The staff was indifferent. When I tried to return the car on the due date, they were already closed (early). The car was garbage.4.8 Mediocre

Pros:
Sam, the MGR is s JERK. Even though I reserved a car through kayak & had a tracking number Sam said there were no cars available even though there were 10 or more in the parking lot. I had to go downtown which is another 10 miles out of my way to get a car. they did not honor the price you quoted me they charged more this is the second time they've done that. That's called bait and switch. It's false advertising and against the law.Cons:
Sam called the downtown location and they knew I was on my way but there was no car ready. I had to wait at least 45 minutes for them to get a car ready and it wasn't even washed I counted at least 10 employees that were working at that location with only three open windows to serve customers and there were only 4 customers. As a matter of fact I said don't worry about washing it just clean the interior. then afterbAJ completed all the paperwork he took my paperwork back and got me a different car so then I had to wait again. That's ridiculous, their service sucks. No wonder Hertz went bankrupt. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.2.0 Poor

Pros:
Pick up was completely hassle free. Agent was friendly, professional, and prepared with our vehicle. There was no run around, no waiting, and our "economy" car ended up being a Mazda CX5 which was exceptionately agreeable. The upgrade was given with no made up story about our reserved vehicle in the process of being washed or being fuel but for a small upgrade fee we could have the small SUV right now. It was a very appreciated and straight forward rental transaction.Cons:

Pros:
When I reserved this car, I wanted to pickup at the Sacramento airport and drop-off in chico. That's what I selected, but when I got to Sacramento airport, my reservation was not there and was actually at a different location off the airport. I would of had to take a cab to get there. So instead of my 77 dollar rental, I had to take a car for 120 dollars. After one day of use, I decided to turn it in early because it wasn't the deal I signed up for.Cons:

Pros:
The pick up office was a small one person but I came at the right time and was taken care of very well. I was offered an upgrade for a few dollars more and I took that and usually don't take it but purchased the extra insurance because I was going to SF after all. The drive was very good and the only thing that would have been even better was a few gas station locations before I got to the airport.Cons:
I should have taken the offer to have my sister take me the 100 miles to the SF airport from my Sacramento residence. First the rental was 3 times the amount of a daily rental and I should have stopped there and KAYACK nor any other online deals were any better or discounted from what I could have got from just going to the vendor's site. I got to the airport rental drop off that was hard to find and confusing at SF and then I was treated like a bum off the street. They did not let me drop the car off near the tram door so with 4 luggage I had to go buy a cart for $5 to get my luggage and transport it to the tram door. One more thing after another I had to do with AvisAirport Van

Staff was extremely unprofessional and does not take accountability for their lack of thoroughness with their product. The van we rented was in severe need of a check-up - tail lights not working, oil change, alignment, electrical, etc.... when this brought to their attention they only made excuses and told us “well, you rented a van.” They didn’t care.
