The gentleman who helped us at the desk was great. He was personable, polite, and very easy to communicate with him. Very nice guy and I would want him working for my organization. The vehicle was a compact. The car smelled of burnt marijuana. Every time we got in the car I had to open the door to have the odor clear out as best as I could.Reviewed 10 Apr. 2023

They delivered the car with empty tanks without telling me. It was signed as full tank on the contract, car didn’t have a notice alarm. I run out of a gas in the middle of the night, on the road between Houston and Austin. I couldn’t find anybody the take me or help me. There was a car with a topless man, he waited in the car straining at me 45 minutes. I had to call police to take me to gas station . It was horrible. The stuff was terrible, they didn't inform me it was not a cherokee. But I accepted, when I get to the car, the car was terrible, too many scratches, and no key inside the car, so I have to walk all the way back to them because nobody answered the phone. Made a reservation. Flew to Houston. Went to counter to get said reservation. Nobody was there. No signs. No anything. Customer service just said they were closed. Was a sign that said cars were available in the garage. Thought there might be someone in the garage. Search the garage. Nobody in the garage. Finally went across the hall to Avis. Started the process of renting a car. Started telling her the story. She said, "Oh, your rental can be through us." ??? Okay. Got the car. The next day my plans changed and I had to go to New Orleans. Very long story short, had to call customer service 3 times to get zero answers to my question about returning the car to a place I didn't pick it up from. Customer service didn't know the answers so they would put me on hold and then either hang up on me or put me through the phone tree again and have to wait forever to talk to another agent. Finally gave up and just returned the car a few days later in New Orleans.Reviewed 9 Jan. 2022

Very slow pickup & not communicative on options/costs. (For exampe, agent at desk did not help explaining the difference between renting the $12 toll pass and paying a $7 surcharge on the pass-free option.)Reviewed 7 Dec. 2021
