The helpful owners are on site and provide an excellent breakfast delivered to the room and enjoyed in the garden. The location is near major sites and very good restaurants. This was our second stay at the facility.

Pros: Affordable and good. The hotel management is great. It is important to understand that it is a college campus hotel, a luxury in that fact being on campus to see your attending college kids. *The evening bartender was great; he was older, more professional. * Be understanding that the meal servers are generally young and are working students. Keep your expectations in that mode. When my last graduates from GCU I will come back for the value and good memories when on business.

Cons: My overall experience has always been good. If I had to think of something, maybe have the made service makeup the room earlier in the day rather than afternoon. As long as I can remember that has been the case here. I have stayed at this hotel @ five or six times.

Pros: I rarely take the time to review stuff, but this place was really quite awful and if I can prevent other travelers from making the same mistake that my friend and I made by booking a room here, then maybe I'll feel vindicated. Truly the worst hotel I've stayed at, and at 100 bucks a night, it's no bargain. I felt completely duped by the pictures, the actual room we were given was completely devoid of any charm or modern amenities, but worst of all, it was just plain old dirty. Really disappointing and frankly, pretty gross.

Cons: Rooms felt uninviting, no where to plug electronics in, very strong orange cleaner smell in the room. Walls very thin, could hear the couple next to us, no breakfast offered at all. We stayed on the 4th floor, only ice machine on the 3rd floor at the very end of the hall...a little creepy. Very outdated bathroom fixtures, tiles and small cheap white towels. I would much rather stay at a chain hotel next time.
