The vehicle I reserved was not available. I received a vehicle that cost me $341 more than my price. I was forced to take this deal because there were no vehicles available at any other agency. They offered me a refund, which was of no use to me, because I needed a vehicle to drive 2 hours to Augusta. I will never rent from Sixt again and will think twice about reserving through Kayak again either.Reviewed 5 Apr. 2023

receive card very dirty the car had a ton of scuff marks and damage asked to swap car they would not allow us app was not working to upgrade. They would not help us. Call customer service left a message they would not call us back counter. Did not help us at the end of the rental either because we booked through kayak! Customer service was atrocious. We were delayed 2 hours due to a tornado in ATL and I was told the vehicle level I reserved was not in stock and that my reservation was not priority because I had only reserved it 6 hours before arrival and I forfeited my reservation due to the policy of not being on time even though it was due to a severe weather delay. I was told I would have to wait an hour and a half to see if anything came available but no guarantees. I had my two young children with me so I asked if anything at all was available and they said I should either cancel or I could pay 2X as much for an upgrade to the next level but due to it being the start of The Masters they didn't need to upgrade me as a courtesy. I said I would upgrade and just speak with customer service later then they immediately told me "never mind- that option was not available for me (and she specified to me personally)" and that I had to wait 20 minutes either way so to step aside. After waiting 20 minutes there was still no updates- employees were taking breaks almost all at the same time...no snacks or waters provided to the kids that were behind the counter- we were just told to keep waiting. Finally, I asked to give me what was available and they gave me a 2 door Camaro at an upgraded charge. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE- will never use this service again.Reviewed 3 Apr. 2023

I hated everything about this process. Online my rental was confirmed using my debit card only to travel to my destination and not be able to get the rental because a credit card is required when there was no info anywhere while booking that stated I needed a rental causing me to be stranded at the airport and unable to get a rental car. The rep that was assisting me kept changing the cost going from $1,000 deposit to $200 all blindsiding me at the airport because none of this info was given to me during the time of reservation prior to my trip. Sixt is very misleading and very unprofessional. I will NEVER EVER use sixt rental company and I will be sure to tell everyone I know NOT to ever use their services either.Reviewed 11 Feb. 2023
