Loved that they were able to accommodate us. When we booked the rental, it was for seven people. We didn’t realize there would be no space for luggage. The seven passenger SUV did not fit us nor our luggage. We asked if we could get a sprinter van and they said no, they didn’t have any in stock. We ended up with a 12 passenger van, which was more than enough space but not easy to get around in Aruba, and challenging to park. The staff at both check-in and return were very helpful and kind. We also assumed that when we put in the airport location that is where we would’ve been picking up the car however, the airport location sent us to a hotel that was a $60 cab ride away. Still don’t understand how that happened, but it all worked out, just way more expensive than we had originally planned.Reviewed 21 Jul 2026

Not good at all. When I arrive there, they said I canceled my car in January when I had just booked it two weeks before so then they found me another car and of course the price went up. And then there was all these other added fees. Then when I returned the car, I got three bills, and one bill was added $300 more than the other. Still trying to take care of this. The man who picked up the car when I was dropping off, yelled at me because I was trying to park the vehicle in the row 20 (where I picked it up). I didn’t find a place to leave it next to Thrifty and I thought I could park it at the parking lot in a Thrifty spot, but this man came to me whistling and being aggressive with his facial expressions and yelled at me telling me that I was supposed to leave it on the other side. We arrived to pick up our car and no one was on duty. When we finally got someone there were no cars an available and we booked online the night before. The staff Jeanie worked very hard to get us a vehicle and was so very nice and understanding!! She made our day!! Vehicle was clean, new and nice. So we got to the rental place at a few minutes to noon and they were closed. It appears they close at noon. We went to another Thrifty at airport and they said they could take care of it, but that Thrifty did not take the insurance that I paid for through your site. Despite having received the confirmation on the website that a car was reserved, once at the airport location we were told we didn't have a car. We were also instructed to pick up the car at another location then the airport initially with the adresse provided on the confirmation through kayak. We walked 10 minutes off airport to be told the pick up was at the airport.
