8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and the staff extremely friendly.
Cons: It was more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Few amenities, rather quaint not luxurious. Very small bathroom with a tub no stall shower just the shower in the bath. No dresser just a side table with a few drawers. Small closet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at room 20 -Brush suite which was very specious, nicely decorated, and very homey. The Inn is beautiful and so its garden. It is located in a peaceful and calm area up the hill. Anette (during breakfast) and Colin (with great knowledge and wonderful tips for touring the area) were super nice and did their best to make our stay pleasant.
Cons: I would expect to have a puffy comforter than just an old bedspread (for a $300 room per night). Bed was too soft and transferred every little movement my husband did. Breakfast was very basic, we had to wait a long time for a dish we chose from the menu, so for the decaf, which arrived after I finished my breakfast. TV screen was too small relatively to the distance it was located from bed, not a chance to read subtitles or any other text on the screen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our 3rd visit to The Stanton House Inn: classy, charming, clean and comfortable....you can't get any better than this.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located
Cons: The smell of the room could have been better.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't partake in the breakfast offering. I'm only still typing until the bar below here gets to green. To be honest, I find it irksome with the 'minimum number of characters' that we survey takers have to meet. It's really irritating and I hope it wastes as much time reading as it does typing. All green now, so I guess I end this. On second thought, maybe I'll keep you here for a bit longer. I have nothing pressing right now, just chilling at my desk with some time to kill. Ok, now I'll move on to the next question. Or will I? Hmm......
Cons: Everything with my stay went as expected, what I don't like (as you may have gathered from my previous response) is this part.

Pros: Loved the lobby and coffee/ breakfast area to hang out in the morning while rest of family was still in bed.
Cons: I booked the room for five people. Yet no roll out beds were provided. No pull out couch in the room. They won’t give a discount on a second room. Don’t understand why they allowed to book the room for five people with two queen beds only. This was upsetting!

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free valet parking is available onsite.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: This Ina very pretty location high above the Hudson River, it looks like a castle, from the outside, but the interior has a variety of decor. We had a deluxe King and it was large and very comfortable. We had our anniversary dinner at Equus, the in house restaurant, excellent food and service.
Cons: Unfortunately for us they were having issues with their fire alarm, it went off 3 times while we were there, not happy being woke up at 7:30 by sirens and flashing lights, evacuated for 20 minutes and nothing was said by mgmt, we showered and checked out soon after, this ruined our relaxing anniversary weekend.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Horrible experience! Front desk staff and manager were extremely unprofessional! My fiance and I booked a night to celebrate our engagement as well as valentines day. Our experience at the castle was overall good but our encounter with one of the front desk attendants as well as the front desk manager wasn't so pleasant. They were unprofessional, unfair, and discriminated against my fiance and I. We planned on having our wedding held at this location because it was so beautiful but that will not be happening!
Cons: Unprofessional staff!

Cons: Only thing I didn't like is that the TV'S are a little too small. I was there with my Dad in our room to watch the Super Bowl and it was a little tough to.
7.0 Good
Pros: Castle part of hotel where restaurant was located was very nice, as was the spa. However, the hotel rooms located in the newer addition need some renovation. Staff was absolutely wonderful.
Cons: Hotel room’s carpet, walls & furniture outdated. Need a fresh coat of paint.

7.1 Good
Pros: Handled an issue well. Unruly guests in the next room were eventually evicted at 3:30 AM. Hotel gave us 30,000 bonus points for our trouble.
Cons: Nothing really. The hotel met expectations.
1.0 Poor
Pros: We had a difficult time liking anything because of the fiasco we went through. It was frustrating as this was supposed to be a relaxing weekend and it wasn't.
Cons: We had a horrible experience for Valentines Day weekend. Apparently they were having a Narcotics Anonymous convention the whole weekend so the first night we heard music until almost 3am. They had given us a room on the 5th floor which was situated above the noise. Even with ear plugs in, the noise and music were so loud we hardly got any sleep. That morning we complained and they had given us another room on the 11th floor in which the thermostat was broken as it would not go below 86 degrees, and the technician had to come up to fix it. The technician failed to shut off the motor first before disconnecting the wires and it blew. He had to change the whole thing which resulted in a complete waste of our day. The only reason of why we stayed was because the Manager had compensated us by taking half off of our stay and added free breakfasts. However the 2nd rooms hallway smelled like marijuana and the room next door was playing loud music that we had to call to complain. Many of the people from the convention were rude, loud and obnoxious. Room service also needs to get their act together because they charged us $14 for 2 muffins which was corrected. This was absolutely ridiculous and they should be ashamed. We will never stay in this hotel again!
8.0 Excellent
Cons: I’ve stayed in 4 star hotels before and those offered robes and slippers as well as 24 hour housekeeping.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location great, comfort was fine. Had a nice two days.
8.0 Excellent

Pros: Most of staff wonderful people.
Cons: One of manager no customer service .
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a nice looking hotel with very friendly, professional staff
Cons: Breakfast is expensive.
5.8 Okay
Cons: The heating unit in the room was very old and extremely loud. We didn’t sleep as a result. The hotel needs to replace these archaic units. No excuse to retain this old technology aside from the obvious cost-cutting benefits. Placing operational cost reductions over guest experience is a poor management decision.
6.0 Good
Cons: I purchased the room at the advertised rate ($-- + taxes). Upon checkout I get a bill for $15.00 listed as a facilities charge. This was not mentioned at check in. I asked why and the rep told me it was a cost to offset all the recent upgrades
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly, room was huge & very clean. Breakfast buffet was also good.
Cons: The $18 fee for parking. It should be included with your stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to get to, Seemed clean
Cons: Felt bad for the crying children trying to please their Stage Moms during the weekend Darling Divas Contest. I wasn't attending the competition and wished I didn't have to hear these upset children
10.0 Excellent
Pros: After a flight cancellation and delay, my back was killing me! One night cured that pain. Excellent wait-staff. Especially at Mix, their hotel bar. The breakfast beats any continental by far. The dinners are excellent as well in case you don't feel like venturing further.
Cons: Not a thing.

Pros: While I was pleased with the upgrades, I was not pleased with all the staff. My family reserved several rooms for Moms 100th Bday after I made my booking, when I called to confirm my dates the rudeness of / female- male staff was not acceptable.. Two days after I left a message for a “manager”, I received a call back. Instead of first apologizing and getting my story she immediately defended her staff member. Our conversation went downhill immediately. I told her she knew her staff was wrong by defending him and not listening or appeasing the customer. However my checkout experience was wonderful.

7.1 Good
Pros: Handled an issue well.
Pros: very clean and close to town
Cons: I had no idea that the parking was not free. many hotels in white Plains area have free parking. this hotell should consider to have free parking, in the future will not go back for that reason.
5.0 Okay
