The plane was really old. There was no monitor Infront of seats. The speaker that played the voice of crew and captain was broken and noisy. We could hardly understand what they were saying and that was something definitely obvious for them. It was kind of disrespectful when they saw such an obvious annoying problem and not trying to solve it. I really felt angry.
Emirates airlines does not inform there passengers of the required documents even at there counter in the start of the trip tell they don’t allow you to take your flight to the final destination. After that they say it’s not there Problem and you have to sort it out. Emirates is one of the worst airlines you can travel with.

I could not select a seat when I checked in on line - even though it was 20 hours before my flight. Even though I was traveling alone I could only get a middle seat. There were no non-meat food choices for the meal. We could not hear the announcements at boarding - no one knew what was being said."

Cons: "Almost missed our flight home because American Airlines lost/screwed up our round trip tickets. We were not able to check in quickly or efficiently, & service was appalling, staff was either poorly trained or uneducated. We tried using the kiosk to check in, to avoid the long line. That didn’t work, so we found help. They told us to retry, wasting time, finding out what we had already informed them of. They passed us off to another gate/service counter, who’s line was closed off. So we had to duck the divider. They then redirected us to the kiosks after we informed them it couldn’t find our reservations, so they tried (wasted more time) failed & sent us back to the line we were already in. After that wait we talked to the person at the desk, who also couldn’t find our reservation. They said “I don’t know it’s not in here, what do you want me to do?” I had to tell them to call a manager to get it fixed, we were going to miss our flight. They called & found the problem, then at 3:15ish reissued us tickets for our 3:30 return flight. Still had to get through TSA! There was also NO phone call to hold the plane or to arrange an airport people mover cart. They talked with the TSA agent who told us to go 2 checkpoints down where the line was shorter. So the American Airlines attendant told us to run. Turns out in Miami Airport there is almost a quarter mile of poorly labeled counter space. Went through TSA having 12 min before our reassigned flight left. TSA was helpful, & did their best to get us through quickly. We were then informed we were near gate 22 & our gate was 3, so rushing down another concourse we barely made our return flight home. Where we were forced to check our carry-on. My girlfriend was crying, we were sweaty (from hustling when we never should of had too), hungry, embarrassed, enraged, & not sitting together for our 3+ hr flight! Unacceptable after a 4hr drive to the airport in traffic & returning the rental car at 1:40!"

Pros: "movies the whole way. American helped me make up for the cancelled flight over to Europe by letting me fly back from London."
Pros: "Onboard crew was very cheerful and did their job very well."
Cons: "Terrible boarding process. It took me literally two hours and a half to get my boarding pass and check-in my luggage, due to a very long queue and maybe a lack of personnel at check-in. I got my boarding pass twenty minutes before departure time, which was obviously terribly stressful., moreover I had a train to catch at destination."
Cons: "Mechanical difficulties in Dallas caused us to leaveat least 1.5 hours late. Got to Phoenix after my scheduled and all other flights to Spokane had departed. AA put me up in a hotel at the airport. Had to wait 35 minutes outside for a shuttle in 102 heat at 9:00 in the evening. Had to ask for a voucher for evening meal."

Cons: "3 hour delay - no compensation. Very old plane - no televisions, communal in-flight entertainment. Uncomfortable seats, dirty tables, loose arm rests. Food was outdated and terrible."

Cons: "I was supposed to be in stand by and the screen continue showing I could go to the counter and get a seat and I have to wait till the end so that I was going to be given a middle seat. I said forget about it, to pay 75 dlls for a change of ticket and you make me wait till the end to give me seat u want, forget it, I know this is stand by ticket but I dont like the attitude of the people, they dont help you at all really bad service you should learn from other airlines giving at least if you are delayed an apology and sometimes miles reward, not just food... Thanks for the SERVICE (i dont flight with you no more, even though cheap flights, but cheap things are expensive)"
Cons: "Still sitting at the airport at 1am. 5 hours later. The incoming plane had "damage" to it so they were going to give us a new plane... 5 hours later and sitting here freezing. American Airlines cannot come up with one extra plane?? Very disappointed"
Cons: "Gate changes were confusing. Staff unprepared and upset with customers. I witnessed a gate agent yelling at customers and slamming phones down."

Cons: "AA failed to allow me to check in at initial arrival in Grande Prairie airport so I had to rush to get a boarding pass in Calgary where the AA agent told me it was not an AA problem and sent me back to WestJet. WestJet discovered that it was an AA problem and returned me to the AA counter where it was resolved. Then I had to rush to catch the flight and missed any opportunity to have a decent lunch between flights. Then there was no food offered on the AA flight to Dallas."
Pros: "Crew was as communicative as possible about the delay process. Answered questions and suggested solutions for travelers who were affected by the delay."
Cons: "The maintenance crew delayed the flight by over an hour because they were not able to get a technician to the plane until an hour after the scheduled takeoff time."

Cons: "I am a true-blue Air Canada customer but their checked baggage fees has created a disaster when it comes to boarding flights and getting planes in the air on-time. Many people had too many carry-on bags or very large carry-on bags so the time it took to board was ridiculous. Better rules need to be enforced with carry on (not that I blame people for trying, considering the increase in checked baggage fees) so that flights can be boarded more quickly and planes can take off on time."

Cons: "The lunch was average at best. Comedy show selections were terrible (in my opinion). I miss the days of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development."

Cons: "For 2 1/2 hours the baby was kicking the back of my seat. I Thurber around a few times, said something once the the so called parents were not willing to help. I mentioned it to the flight attendednt but being a full flight there were no seat. Changes available. The parents even switched seats but only with each other, they kept the baby behind me. I can only hope they have a baby kicking their seat in the future"

Cons: "Air Canada was a disaster on our vacation. Delays, re bookings, cancellations. Every thing was told to us as an excuse from the weather, flight attendant was running late, not staffed enough, need supplies on the plane, someone died, planes needing de-icing, planes too small, planes overbooked... you name it they said it! New York to Toronto, Toronto to Edmonton and return. Not one single flight was on time! We got put in a Hotel - only nice part of the trip - got Vouchers for $15 each - such a low amount!!! Didn't get our luggage with our clothes and amenities to use at the hotel - had to sleep in our plane clothes. Spend extra money we didn't have... it was awful! We will be staying away from Air Canada for awhile!"

Cons: "When I arrived at my destination I found that the item I had gate checked had been damaged- an instrument case I was no longer able to close. The zippers had both been busted off. Due to time constraints I was invited to write a review and email which I intend to do. The item itself was gate checked for safety - and to me the damage says that still somehow it is unsafe to fly with an instrument which as a professional musician is frustrating. In addition flights have very limited food options that accommodate persons with gluten/dairy allergies."

Pros: "Paid for the "upgraded" seat only to be told we had to be in the back of the plane. Moving back all rows had one person and one chair open, so we had to sit apart. Useless crew as an elder couple asked to sit together and were told to check with passengers. Oh and the flight was delayed 3 times."
Cons: "The post office lost my passport and I was unable to go on this flight. Customer service was unwilling to provide a solution that did not cost thousands of dollars to rebook and see my family for Christmas."

Cons: "I didn't like the change in gate at Edmonton to Vancouver. No one told us until boarding time. Even tho there was ample time to get there since it was the next door gate, I was in a wheelchair and if it had been any further, it could've been a disaster. We arrived right on time. I'd go Air Canada again."

Cons: "Departure was 40 minutes delayed right off the bat for reasons unknown and unexplained. Then, worse, mechanical trouble on the tarmack, we had to return to the gate and power down the plane, while still remaining on board, unventilated and unpleasantly sweaty, in the dark even for a while. What should have been a quick 1.5 hour flight and 8:30pm arrival thus became a sweaty 4-hour ordeal and almost 11pm arrival. Not the end of the world, but I was a bit taken aback at the absence of apologetic behaviour, like perhaps serving drinks while we're sweating on the tarmack, or heaven forbid, a meal of some sort considering we were departing later than we should have all already been home."
