i missed the cutoff for luggage by 1 minute in eugene. the woman told me i have to bring my big suitcase with me and check it on the plane but i would be fine . There were several others and getting through was long and by the time we got to the gate they had just shut it . i was out on the next flight from eugene to san francisco but could not get on a flight from san francisco to san diego until late in the afternoon. i had to be in mexico to give a talk and they said that there would be no room on the first connecting flight. So i purchased a ticket on line to be sure I could get to my talk. I went to the United Agent in Eugene behind the counter and explained what i had done and she promised me she would be sure my suitcase made the new flight . It did not . i am on my way to Tecate Mexico and my suitcase with all my clothes and information for my talk is in san francisco . She was certain and said for sure the suitcase would be with me and I am very distressed -I used 55,000 miles to make sure i was on time and now i don’t have my suitcase abs necessary things and no one seems to know how to get it to my hotel .
Flight was nearly an hour late. Drink selection on board was excellent! I was very pleased to see White Claw Gard Seltzer on the menu.

Cons: "Plane was way to full like sardines. The middle seat should be empty for Covid !!"
Cons: "Smelled like pee for half time we were up and announcer was very annoying , she sounded like she is about to pass out , short of breath like she needs an ambulance. Statement about wearing masks was just too much... we get it - we wear masks."

My flight landed late due to Airline delays no one would help me get across the entire airport the far terminal that I had to go to it was absolutely ridiculous because of this I'm still in Chicago I'm not even reached my destination"
Cons: "Luggage took >1hr. Flew w Copa - always got bad seats when on United flights"
Pros: "It was a satisfying experience with United Airline from ABE shuttle bus ride (I said Shuttle) to EWR. It sure saved me the 2 hours driving during rush hour, and wears and tearS on my personal car, if you have 2 hours extra time during the day. Otherwise (If you want to save time), drive yourself to EWR and park."
Cons: "It does take up 2 more hours"
Pros: "Highly professional and exceptionally courteous service by the cabin crew. Professionally dressed. Organized and dilligent. Customer friendly. The way an airline owner and CEO would want to be represented to the paying customer by a frontline segment of his/her organization. Best UAL/Lufthansa experience ever for me."
Cons: "The ‘third world’ arrival handling by IAD. Ragged transporters. No intercom service or effort whatsoever to advise pax of apparent problem at main terminal. Turned off transporter engine and left us on the tarmac breathing diminishing air in the module and wondering what was going on. Mobile passport service ‘not working’ at jam-packed immigration. Luggage retrieval frustrated by problems or incompetence and finally located at an undesignated conveyor area. No kudos to IAD. All kudos to Lufthansa/UAL. One Exception was my ‘by chance’ immigration agent who for the first time ever for me at IAD said “welcome home” as he waved me on."

Cons: "Need to develop the entertainment system to become at least minimumuly adequate. I have learned to treat these flights as buses in the air."

Cons: "Delay after delay. Took way too long for de-icing. The storage compartmemt door got stuck and I could not get my bag out. The flight attendant blamed the issue on my bag. She claimed it was too big. It was not. I have carried the bag on several flights with similar planes, the gate agent slowed it on the plane as many have, and I had no issue opening and closing other compartment as I tried a couple after maintenance retrieved my bag."
Pros: "Friendly staff, comfortable seats (considering). No issues with seating which was a welcome change for me."
Cons: "AC was broken. They could at least give you a second cup of water. Tired of being treated like an animal"

Cons: "Why the hell would you sell a flight with a 40 minute transfer between a domestic and international flight that were in different terminals?! The only reason I made it was because the airport crew was great in helping me get through the airport quickly. And the only reason my luggage made it on time was because my flight was delayed for two hours."
Cons: "Air Canada sold the flight to United Airlines - and United moved the flight later and later and later. Six times. When this was combined with a weather delay, we ended up boarding at 11 PM and landing well after midnight. This is not what we signed up for and not what we wanted."

Cons: "so uncomfortable seating. united website wofirst offered us $200.00 each because flight was overbooked.we declined. united would not let us check in online due to having no bags. we had to go to airport desk who then sent us to kiosk. we used the kiosk and machine said we had to talk to an agent, who inturn had to see the see the size of our bags. (she was miserable). then she printed our a boarding pass without seat assignment. we then had to go to gate agent who told us we had to wait a couple of minutes. we returned to the gate agent who again said we had to wait .(she was miserable too!!) all the while, for 2 days, we thought of that poor man assaulted on the united flight as they forced him out of his seat and off the plane. was this going to happen to us??? we sat and watched many many crew members board, crew that did not work on the flight. finally we were given out boarding pass with a seat assignment . HATE UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Pros: "The crew at the gate as well as the crew on the plane were excellent and very helpful. The gate crew made rerouting very easy."
Cons: "The 3 hour delay made for an exceptionally long trip. Delays are so very common on United; especially when connecting through O'Hare."
Cons: "I did not like that there was no food. Long flights are supposed to give some, at least a small sandwich."

Cons: "My assigned seat was terribly uncomfortable! I was able to move, but seriously, you should not sell a seat that bad!"

Cons: "The seats in economy has very limited legroom and the large and over weight Caucasian seating next to me frequently took the arm rest and cross over into my space. The airplane did not have individual monitors. And trying to watch a movie on my phone over United's wi-fi was a terrible experience since the signal keeps dropping."

The staff members kept walking away or what seemed like .. talking to friends- I've never seen a line move so slow and I'm from new York."

Get people on and seated instead of by group. We left 30 minutes late because of it. Overall the flight was fine. I just thought the crew seemed apathetic and indifferent to the passengers."
