Individual in-flight entertainment consoles with electrical outlets (incredibly helpful). Wine and/or alcohol on international flights. We were able to get to our final destination the same day we were supposed to, just an hour later."
Cons: "Being overly critical of everything: They did have independent entertainment options, they were incredibly limited and the games either did not load or took over 7 minutes to load. This is speaking of my only interaction with the onboard crew towards the end of the flight, but he was very terse and unhelpful as he went down the aisle. I had questions on the declarations page as there were many typos/questions needed to be answered. No, food as it was an hour flight. All signs indicated our flight was on-time but many of the passengers sat there with no formal proclamation of what the delay was or what is to be expected in the coming moments."

My bad was delayed a week. My flight was delayed an hour. The US customs in Toronto doesn’t have the capacity to process baggage or people in a timely manner allowing travelers common courtesy of making their flights or arriving to their destination with their baggage. I had no time to eat between two very long flights. Canadá air only provides snacks for sale from Toronto to SLC so you can either pay $10 for a $2 chicken wrap or go hungry for a full Day then arrive without your bags that will be delayed a week before they are delivered to my home. It took two hours to get the the SLC airport from the time I landed until I reached my vehicle in long term parking due to excessive distance from gates to baggage claim and time to fill out lost baggage claim. Overall a very poor experience, I will not fly Canadá air again and will avoid Toronto international airport.

I think given the circumstances the crew and staff were put in they did a great job. You cannot really hold them at fault for... A) Cancelling your flight 3 hours before departure. B) Automatically emailed about being re-booked on another flight the following day, no compensation offered at all. C) Finding out at your re-booked flight that the live cargo (flying w/ dog) that I had to spend 2.5 hours on the phone confirming kennel dimensions weeks before my original flight was not also automatically re-booked. D) Getting re-re-booked on a new flight that could take and/or had room for live cargo. For all of this, Air Canada offered ZERO compensation - nothing for the pet-friendly hotel room I had to get because my flight was canceled 3 hours before it was due to leave, nothing for pet or bag fees, not even complimentary in-flight food & beverage. I understand that things happen, stuff comes up that for valid reasons requires flight cancellations and that covering the costs of every inconvenienced customer is not feasible. I get that. But I have to think that there must be some middle ground between that and absolutely nothing, which seems to be the current approach.

We soon realized there was not enough room for all the carry on baggage and so they randomly chose us to pay extra since baggage would have to be checked anyways. It was unfair, biased, and classless. Shame on you Air Canada."

Pros: "Nothing. On the first leg of the round they moved my flight back FIVE HOURS! It messed up my weekend but I still went on vacation. On this leg, the one home to Monterrey, they moved the flight back three hours and forced me to miss it, and they couldn't fly me home for over 24 hrs. I canceled the flight for some refund, and then spent hundreds buying a new flight on a new airline. This happens a lot, and I won't fly with them anymore unless there is no choice. It's a shame as I really like their seats/legroom and they have really polite professionals working for them."

Being in back row(no recline) would have been manageable if I could have leaned head to side to rest on something that extended out. Left too much light on (all down center) for an overnight flight. Served heavy dinner at 2am. Woke everyone up. Later light breakfast would have been more appropriate. Bathrooms reeked and waste bin overflow. Stewardess in back chatting. Don't they ever check?. They didn't seem to want to there."

If customer rep would have explained that, u would have taken measures to bring along a prepared meal for myself. Not okay."

Cons: "Feel like I got conned & ripped off over set upgrade at the checkin kyiosk. Offered an economy upgrade for $79 which actually was $94. I selected seat by window that had no other passengers listed in the seating aisle but somehow in the short period of time I upgrade & walked to gate a middle eastern family with 4 kids, none over 4yrs of age happen to book the seats in my aisle. It was not comfortable & definitely not an upgrade worthy of the xtra $ having kids kicking my chair, yelling, & crying majority of the trip. Had an extreme migraine when finally landed in Houston."
