Had a crying baby the whole flight. When we arrived at the gate we had to wait for the gangway.

I liked the direct flight from ORD-RSW. The plane was relatively new, clean, and in good shape. I didn’t like the two hour delay or the waiting an hour after we landed for my checked luggage. After a scheduled landing of 7:50 PM we didn’t head to our car until after 11 PM.

Entertainment option with wide choice of live television was fine for flight and helped make flight go by fast. This was our first use of first class service, and we would consider it again. I had unsatisfactory experience with United last year and saw great improvement."

We waited for bags in Tampa airport for 2 hours. Also, no food or even water. Not going on it again

When i came back to the airport the second time I got there 43 minutes before the flight YES, 3 THREE MINUTES after their cutoff time for checked bags, and they would not check my bag. I had to pay $16.00 extra to carry it on. I travel 7 months out of the year and have never had anything happen like this before. I was the only one in line and the "Customer Service" person was indignant and reminded me that i was the last person to sign in. I guess the last people to sign in, or maybe all people that sign in get treated with utter disrespect. I am 3 minutes late, Frontier is 3 hours and 45 minutes late and i am the one who gets treated with disrespect . Horrible!!!!! Inexpensive airline, NO they are a CHEAP airline that doesn't give a damn about its customers. I will be going to the internet, the Points Guys, the FAA, and to their corporate offices next. Although I won't be expecting a response from their corporate offices because the culture of CHEAP customer service starts at the top!"

Frontier told me that kayak booked me on two separate flights with two separate tickets and because of that they couldn’t check my bag to my final destination. booking through kayak was a huge inconvenience"

Cons: "I took my 11 year old daughter for her first unaccompanied airplane trip to Florida today on Frontier Airlines. I paid for a window seat in the back row, which is where she wanted to sit and is also required to sit being unaccompanied. A few minutes after she boarded she texted me that a mom told her to move over so her kids could sit at the window seats (my daughters seat). My daughter of course just listened and moved over. I was livid. I told her to tell the flight attendant but she didn’t want to make a fuss over it. What was this flight attendant doing? She had to notice the seat assignment switch at some point. I do understand that she also has other responsibilities and can’t be a hawk over my daughter. Why wouldn’t she make them move to their own assigned seats when she did notice a seat change? I understand that another adult passengers can make a seat assignment switch but NOT a child. I am also fine with a flight attendant asking my daughter to move but not another passenger. It sounds like a bully just wanting the best for her kids at the expense of my daughter. I was a fury of no sleep (I work night shift)and pregnant (emotional) looking for help at the airport and there was no one to help me! I wasn’t allowed to leave the gate until the plane pushed back but the gate attendant had left before the airplane pushed back. I should have called my daughter and had her put the flight attendant on the phone but at the time the thought never crossed my mind. After the plane left I complained to the ticketing counter who told me they couldn’t do anything to help me and gave me a number for customer service. I was then on with customer service for at least 45 minutes. They weren’t rude but definitely didn’t have a response that was very caring. They asked me why my daughter didn’t speak up on the airplane. I said, “because she is 11 and listens to adults when they tell her to do something.” They said they would report my case/ complaint to the “back office” so this would “never” happen again and gave me back my money for my daughters checked bag of $45. I had to push them to give me back any sort compensation. At this point I didn’t want to make it about money... it didn’t seem right. This is about my daughter and her safety and the service I paid for her to have in my absence. So I took the $45 deal and got off the phone. I am still so angry. This was her first flight alone and she’s a little scared, a little sad, and then she has to give up the one thing that she was looking forward to on the flight. If something would have happened on the flight they wouldn’t even know what seat she was in! I don’t know if I will ever book flights with frontier again. The flight also left 40 minutes late without any given reason."

We were told the plane had mechanical problems. The waiting area was so crowded with people it was people standing all over the place...it turned out that 2 flights full of people were waiting there. When we finally boarded, the plane had to be refueled and the plane had to be started up by being jumped or something because one motor was not working normallly; this was a bit frightening. Staff was not even smiling, or even comforting when we boarded. Brief apology by pilot."

Cons: "No quick bag drop off option, very slow to be processed. Tons of fees, they really add up and if you pay the extras it can easily be more expensive than the competitors. Super rude and careless flight attendant. Asked for bathroom permission for my 3-year-old once we were at full altitude and she denied. Sure enough 2 minutes later an adult just went for it. Then as the seatbelt sign was off she was blocking the aisle with the trolley. When I asked kindly to make room, she didn’t even acknowledge that she heard my request... she did, eventually, without even looking at me. Also very slow to get the stroller and a bit slow to get the baggage but these latter issues may be airport dependent."
Cons: "I tried to reschedule my trip but was unable to contact a person. I was hoping for a credit for another flight"

And there is something to say that we all, once more, landed safely and without incident. So, thank you for that, but those seats are awful. Seriously, "We are not sardines"."
Cons: "The seating is simply unacceptable, and I would say Frontier Airlines, along with many other airlines treat passengers as cattle because they can. I don't expect the 'bean counters' to solve this problem. But, I do expect more from the hand on executives who make these "business choices"... Do better! I dare you..."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for 4 1/2 hours with no email notification and my self and one other couple were the only ones who showed up for the flight. Not to mention I had just left my grandmothers funeral"
Cons: "Paid $366 for a flight that would normally cost me < $250. Get charged EXTRA to pick a damn seat, both ways. Get charged MORE to check a bag each way. DON'T get ANY complimentary snack or drink, but SURPRISE, they ARE available for PURCHASE. There is NO in flight entertainment...not tv, not music...nothing. And, the seats do not recline...at all. Oh, did I mention this was a bereavement flight, which apparently airlines don't even acknowledge anymore?"

Cons: "Glad you asked. I have always loved flying, however; the aircraft have now morphed into a large aluminum tube that is noisy, and most noticeable, very,very crowded. It will probably sound trivial,however, these days one barely has room to fold a newspaper OR enjoy a snack on those 4 by 8 in. metal trays on the seatback in front you. You know---------- this the first time I have ever been so critical of a flight of any kind. I just hope I don't see the day when they have everyone stand in the plane so that they can get more into it. I fear the true pleasure of flying has gone out the (pardon me) window."

Pros: "Not much more to say. It was a very early morning flight. Boarding was fast and smooth. The crew was competent, professional, and friendly. Left on time, arrived on time. All in all very nice trip. Leaving from TTN was an absolute PLEASURE especially when compared to EWR or even LGA. Will certainly do it again next time! Kudos to you Frontier!"

Cons: "Baggage check-in had one very long line. I waited 40 minutes to simply check my bags. My two small bags were expensive to check (compared with other airlines). After all expenses there were no savings over other airlines (other airlines with better service and better jets). Frontier has NO TSA PRE CHECK PROGRAM!!! Initial flight it was a big nuisance, return flight it was even worse. The security line was at least a 2 hour wait. The Frontier flight in the gate next to us left without 25+ passengers because they were still in line at security. The flight: this was the roughest most frightening flight I've encountered. I found myself having to calm down the passenger next to me. We arrived 40 min late. Return trip: my luggage didn't appear and I had to file paperwork at the ticket desk on another floor. The 2 pieces of luggage were found and delivered to me 3 days after. Case closed. I don't mind the no-frills interior & seats that don't recline. I can bring my own snacks and beverages. But this airline disregards the value of my time."
Pros: "Direct flight. Can't really say much else. The crew was very nice."
Cons: "Charged for everything. Bags, seats, food. Pretty much everything but using the bathroom has a charge. Also the sales pitch to get a credit card through them is a bit tacky. Could do without that coming on the speaker system. Seats are uncomfortable. Tray table is about the size of a small iPad. Told is flight was delayed 4 hours and then left on time. Numerous passengers were left behind due to poor communication of departure. Seats do not move and the plane was exceptionally dirty. I guess you get what you pay for. We did get a very cheap flight so that is why I gave 2 instead of one."
Pros: "The skycap was terrific. He ALONE handled massive,frustrated passengers with energy and composure."
Cons: "One skycap to handle passengers from 3 flights leaving at approximately the same time. This is 'no way to run an airline.' It is unfair to passengers and staff. At least free water to passengers who just went through such an ordeal."
Cons: "I thought the flight attendant was very rude to a young mother flying alone with her young child over a seat belt issue ( this was before the seat belt sign was illuminated)."

Cons: "I had to pay $45 for a small carryon, which I've never ever paid for a carryon all the times I've flown. I purposely did not pack a luggage to save cost. $45 is more than I would have paid for luggage with American and carryons are free. The seats didn't recline and there was very little leg room. I paid $200 for my ticket not including my carryon fee which was so unexpected, then if i wanted a drink, that was an extra charge. Are you kidding me? This was my first time flying frontier and I was disappointed."
Pros: "Even though we had a considerable delay the crew as well as the passengers handled it well ie. noone talked or acted angry. They all just seemed to take in stride which made it much more tolerable."
Cons: "We left about an hour late. Initially because of difficulty starting the rear engine and then because of a medical emergency on board. Obviously the airline was not responsible for the medical emergency."

Cons: "I felt screwed all the way around! You charge for everything and provide nothing! The flight attendants were old and worn out looking and acted like any request was just a strain! I'll never fly with you again and have warned my friends also."
Pros: "Absolutely no issue with the flight. The boarding went very smoothly and the flight itself was flawless,. We even landed 15 minutes earlier than projected. Staff on the plane were efficient and pleasant. Pretty standard flight attendants doing what they do."
Cons: "The seating is another matter. They have moved the seats closer together so there is zero leg room and very close to the person next to you. Luckily I was in an aisle seat with a small child next to me so I had elbow room. The trays are ridiculous! Roughly the size of an ipad. Can barely hold a glass and a soda can. Forget about putting your laptop on it. The flights are cheap - but that is because you pay extra for everything. They charge for bags whether you carry on or check them and it's double the price at the gate if you don't pay at booking, charge for choosing your seat at booking, charge for all refreshments and food on the flight - only thing complimentary is a glass of water."

Cons: "Ridiculous fees for carry-ons and checked luggage alike. Boarding process was a zoo. Seats were tolerable but not comfortable. The ticket price savings were more than erased by the other fees. Sorry, but I'll only fly on Frontier again if there's no alternative. Other mainstream carriers are more straightforward in their pricing, more comfortable, and at least offer a complimentary beverage on longer flights."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled and could only be rescheduled via phone, which took over 3 hours. At that point, we had to pay $138 per person for a flight the following day. We also lost $90 for baggage and seat fees which was not reimbursed. I'm still in shock about how poorly this situation was handled by Frontier."
Pros: "Our checkin went smoothly and got good seat assignments."
Cons: "Our boarding pass directed us to gate A9, but when we got there other flights were leaving there. No one was around to redirect us. We had to figure it out ourselves to go to gate A14. Also the beverage cart was out of gin."
Cons: "Everything was awful from a 5 hour delay to the time I called 20 minutes before coming to airport and being told it was on time. The minute I walked in the door of airport was told flight delayed at least 4 hours. Then calling customer service asking for money back and they said they ad to charge me $99 to cancel. I will NEVER fly this airline!!!!"
