We got back to Atlanta in two hours. Was able to get to work just 30 minutes later than I thought.
The flight was delayed almost two hours on the front end, and an hour on the backend once we landed and waited for a gate to open up. We were told to remain in our seats during that whole delay and I had to go to the bathroom badly. I was unable to hold it and was forced to urinate in my pants while in my seat. I then had to sit in it until we finally deboarded and I was able to change my clothes.
There are additional charges for everything including water. If you are unwilling to pay additional charges you are afforded no comfort at all. Seats are smaller than other airlines and do not recline. Schedule changes appear to be customary because you encounter them on departure and return.
Trip never happened because they cancelled our flight down to fort myers. They kept pushing back the departure in two hour increments saying ghey were waiting for staff and then finally 4 hours later they cancelled saying it was weather. No abailable flights with them until two days later. Ended up getting a refund and using southwest.
Delayed as always, which I guess is better than cancelled. You get what you pay for.
The whole expierience was one to forget. From the $99 carry on fee, to the seats not reclining and not having any headrest adjustment, to the completely disrepectful gate agents to paying an arm and a leg for snacks on the plane. The whole expierience was something that I will never put myself through again. I will never be flying spirit again. Even if I have to wait another day just to catch another airline flight that is what I will do. Completely unacceptable.
The plane itself felt old, rattled a lot, was louder than most planes, and made us so nauseous that our son vomited on both flights.
