My husband went to use the restroom in our cabin and the female flight attendant told him to go back behind the curtain and use the bathroom assigned to his cabinet. He is Colombian and she surely profiled him, as I saw two other passengers from coach use the first class bathroom with no concerns."

Understandbly there is only so much an airline can do, but it can really frustrating when the staff says “seats #-# board and everyone rushes on like a heard of cattle regardless of number. Similar exit experience."

Cons: "I had only 40 minutes to get to my connecting flight. Then the plane was 15 minutes late. They wouldn't switch me to a seat that was open closer to front of plane and my bag was lost w important things in it that I need for this evenings show. I'm a full time musician."

Cons: "I dint know i needed a chinese visa to travel to shanhai, My flight began on denver then seattle and from seattle i wasnt able to fly to china. I received no help at all, all they did was cancel my booking not received any kind of refund and i got stuck in seattle, i had to buy new tickets to go back to denver after losing my flights and not getting a dime back, this is unacceptable!"

Phone agent said I could get a hotel voucher because it was mechanical failure. arrived late late late into Seattle to be told there were no hotels available. I had to be insistant to get agents to make the effort to get me routed. They to me I would have no hotel and then wait until 5 pm the next day to fly to Medford. They gave no food vouchers. I had to pay for a hotel I never slept in in Medford and meals. Seems like Alaska has few flights out of Seattle and Denver and no other partner agreements to help route you. Really horrible bad experience. Not what you expect when you patly $500 plus trip insurance. Pathetic."

NOTE: I have not flown first class since the TWA days so anything above coach service is impressive. Second leg was just as impressive but plane was same model but slightly older. Special thanks and kudos to FAs Elinor and Rita! Hey we're great as was the entire crew including the ticket counter staff and everyone associated with the experience."

She used the claim that the flight was overbooked and 20 people needed to check their bags, then threatened to randomly take them. Meanwhile, 60% of passengers were boarding without roller bags. When I boarded the plane, which was almost full, at least half the overhead bins were empty. I had already gate checked my bag to avoid a confrontation with this pushy lady. Ridiculous!"

The person at the gate was rude when I said you won't lose my luggage will you? he said Probably. I said really, and he said well you did ask."

Cons: "We requested an isle chair for my fiance, who is paralyzed from the waist down, as soon as we checked in at the gate 2 hours early. Not only did they not board him first, nobody was waiting with one at the gate. The crew had to call someone and we had to wait a decent amount of time for someone to arrive. At that point half of the plane had boarded and the other half got to gawk at him while they boarded as he was "strapped in." Getting him in his seat with a full flight was difficult and embarrassing for him. He's flown cross country and internationally many times, and this was a first. For this and a couple incidents regarding our trip from Milwaukee to Medford, by way of Denver, we no longer plan to fly United."

Had to make my own arrangements to complete my trip at significant expense to myself and 0 assistance from Airlines."
