4 flights in 3 weeks between arrival and departure and all flights delayed about 5 to 6 hours ! What’s going on with AF ?! Not a low cost and you paid for that service !?!? Not anymore

Pros: "Crew attentive. The delay was due to airport conditions in FCO, cannot be blamed on Air France."
Cons: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."

Cons: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Cons: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

Cons: "We were rebooked, which understandably happens for any number of reasons. However, we were not informed or asked about our preference until our luggage was checked through! The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."

Pros: "Everything went very smoothly with this flight. It boarded on time. The crew were all very friendly. I enjoyed the entertainment selections and found a tv show that I had been wanting to see. I managed to watch 2 episodes and look forward to watching more of the same show on my flight back. I ended up having the 2 seats to myself which was great. Extra legroom. I have no complaints at all."

On our flight over however we didn't get options on food since they had run out. The flight crew was nice though."
Cons: "Unbeknownst to either of us the Air Canada Rouge is a low cost carrier international flight. It didn't have a player in the seat, or even old school TV's. You had to use your own device on their WiFi which was SLOW and the sound went out. The seats are small with very little leg room. I'm 5'1 (156cm) and my legs almost touched the seat in front of me. Also the airport was the biggest hinderance of getting to the gate and the airplane. After customs, to get to our gate we were told to wait in another line while they went through nearly every passenger again... And checked bags. Since it was taking so long they would let some go through without checking them. It was strange to say the least. We eventually left the gate late but made up for it in the air."

Cons: "For business class the accommodation was appalling. The seat would not even recline more than a couple of inches, let alone lay flat which is what one is paying for. The touch screen entertainment did not work. The flight arrived too late to make connections - again. The boarding agent at the gate in Los Angeles was one of the rudest and most arrogant men I have ever encountered. I complained to the plane's Captain about him, as he was going through. All the business class passengers around me were commenting on it. One was even filming his egregious behaviour for Facebook. He alone was enough to put one off Air Canada ."

Cons: "I always fly Air Canada but I guess I wasn't aware that Air Canada Rouge was a completely different species. No entertainment at all. When we got on the plane, the sun was shining through the window & floating in the air was a mind-boggling amount of dust, feathers, etc.. flying all around... like the air was completely FILLED with them.. you couldn't get a breath of oxygen. This irritated my respiratory system immensely. They also had children helping out the flight attendants which was cute, until the one girl who had just served water to the entire plane broke out into an awful fever. They were putting ice packs on her head, giving her meds, & eventually she had to get carried through the airport. This was 5 minutes after serving water to an entire plane of passengers. I ended up getting extremely sick & missed almost a week of work. Not sure if this was the cause, but it makes sense. I will make sure 100% to never fly air canada rouge again. For $400 a ticket... doesn't make sense to experience this."

Cons: "I separated from my 2 daughters and husband because they did not allow me to pick seats or check in online. I was stuck in the seat immediately in front of the stinky bathroom in a seat that didn't recline, had no hdmi charging port and was pretty much continuously crowded by bathroom-goers. In fact, so many bathroom goers grabbed the seat in front of me that they touched my movie screen about 7-8 times, causing the menu to pop up and interrupt the movie. Otherwise, the food was gross and one of the flight attendants was very grumpy."

Cons: "My flight from NYC to Montreal was delayed 4 hours due to a storm that had passed earlier in the day. That was understandable, however we then sat on the tarmac at the gate for an additional hour because Air Canada's entire computer system suddenly crashed. We finally got to the runway and in the middle of takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and aborted the takeoff because he did not reach high enough speed. It was very scary. I was supposed to land in Montreal at 10:20 pm but arrived there at 2:30 am the next morning."

I understand the rules of the internet fare (no returns, exchanges or cancellations) but the customer service was awful. They didn't offer me any other alternative but to loose full value of the ticket ($1700). Nobody (kayak, vayama, air canada or brussel airlines) gave me any kind of information about those new requirements and I ended up cancelling the whole trip as I couldn't find any other flight to get to Europe. Really upsetting...."

They will certainly be getting a letter of complaint and a request for a refund."

Cons: "My traveling partner - Giovanni Medina - was given ill properly prepared food. He ended up getting food poisoning. We had a connecting flight in Montreal to Orlando (our final destination and home), he was suffering during the 2 hour lay over with an ill stomach and then had to suffer 3 more hours on a flight home. He was stopped from being able to go to the bathroom before takeoff because they needed him seated, but he immediately started vomiting right before we took off. He then spent the rest of the ride sick, they allowed him to move to the back in order to use the bathroom rather than the vomit bags, but he was not comfortable at all. He spent the rest of the night after landing in the bathroom continuing to vomit. We chose this airline because of the rave reviews of the food, entertainment, and hospitality of the crew. The latter two were certainly true. We definitely wanted to make sure that you knew of situation because this was a seriously uncomfortable situation for him and we would not want this to happen to anyone else. He had the chicken meal and the meat pastry on the flight."

It is a shame. Although we recieved 200 dollar compensation check it does not cover damage has been done for me at this trip because of my late arrival to a very important business meeting. It is really not fare and shame."

Since it was a short flight between Toronto and Montreal they gabe me a seat in the next flight which had a delay in boarding (30 min) and then delayed departure too another 30 min ... All in all i spent almost 5 hours in the airport for a 1h flight"

It was the Gulag! I can't imagine it being worse for them. On a short domestic flight, it may be tolerable, but for a long international flight across the pond, it was a nightmare! Also, please stop serving those hot pockets as a snack and please stop charging for potato chips and snacks unless you plan to serve a substantial meal! A 400 calorie meal is not going to keep anyone satisfied for 10 hours!"

Air Canada attendant at Newark said the flight was always delayed and passengers regularly needed to be rebooked. You should recommend air Canada cancels selling this itinerary or bringing the Newark flight forward to de risk any delays"

Cons: "I was very unhappy that I could not sit with my husband both ways when we booked the flight together. And we got middle seats which we hate and requested aisle seats. We were also initially placed extremely far away and I was able to change seats to at least being closer, but not together. There was a couple that was throwing a fit that they weren't sitting together in my husband's aisle. The water they provided came from a pitcher and not a bottle and it tasted nasty. I did ask for hot tea on one of the flights and was told they had nothing hot. My tray table was dirty. Sticky stuff on the buckle of the seatbelt. Used plastic cup by my seat when boarding."
Cons: "When boarding the plane, they called the zones too quickly. Then there was an Air Canada representative giving bad directions to the passengers as to where to get in line. Then she got annoyed and was disrespectful to the passengers as they were trying to get in line. She needed to give better directions or change the way they called the zones. Air Canada knew the flight to Montreal was delayed when we left London. They changed our reservation to Toronto to a flight that we still couldn't connect with because of timing. It would have been easier if they were more realistic with the timing of the flight and booked us on a later flight to Toronto."

Cons: "We were delayed an hour because of a miscommunication with the refueling truck in Montreal before the flight came to Bradley. Then, we sat almost another hour on the tarmac at Bradley Airport because the flight plan was not approved. This caused me and several travelers (out of a small flight of approx. 20 people) to miss our connections in Montreal. Miscommunication seems to be normal for AirCanada, at least in Montreal (almost missed my connection on the way home, too). I will not fly again with this airline in the foreseeable future."

We traveled on Rouge, from Venice to Montreal, and it was better than the reviews I had prior. There was an outlet to charge electronic devices and the app was easy to use."

The flight crew works slower then I have ever observed in my over 200 flights. Took them 1hr 40min to serve what they called "dinner", Delta and others knocks it out in 30!!! And don't get thirsty, You'll die of dehydration before you get a drop of water. They treat ice like its gold. 2 cubes for each drink. If u ask for more u get one more cube. Lol. It was just a horrible experience! I will never fly Air Canada again."

Cons: "Didn't give us US customs forms, had to ask, only got one, had to ask again, and then rushed to fill them out and THEN customs threw them out and we had to do everything on the computer. I would think that the crew would be familiar with this process at their home airport and not waste our time. Also, no one could tell us if we would have to go through security again and if we could buy any liquids in Paris duty free to bring home due to the liquid rule and going through security. Just a wildly uninformed airline (asked our crew and other AC officials) they couldn't answer a few simple questions."

Pros: "This particular flight was parked at the closest bay to immigration at Heathrow. So a late boarding and arrival was made early through not having a mile long walk to passport control."
Cons: "Disorganized boarding with the plane load of people huddled around the entrance to the boarding area. No guidance from the crew on how to efficiently pack the overhead bins efficiently with passengers helpless to put their treasures into the overhead bins."

Cons: "1. There is a security check just prior to boarding at the gate in Brussels that is not known about in advance. The process is not organized, nor did I (along with other passengers) understand why another checkpoint was being unexpectedly required.. 2. The food onboard (main meal - beef and snack - calzone) were not good; although they were served hot, they were bland and unappetizing. Contrary to popular belief, not all airplane food is "bad". 3. And finally, the restrooms were not kept clean during the flight - I had never seen that on any of the nternational airlines I've taken over several years."

We had to wait for the stairs and shuttle to arrive to get us to the airport terminal. It was especially frustrating because we had nearly no time to get to our connecting flight. Cons: "Even though I'm a star Alliance frequent traveler status holder, and the status grants an extra bag on economy class I was forced to pay for my first checked in bag. Furthermore, since I assumed I'll be getting my checked in luggage for free (as it states on the miles and more website) I didn't pay for it in advance a fee of 35$, meaning they made me pay 65$ in the airport."

I am short and has absolutely no room for myself or even my iPad and headphones. Horrible experience. Never flying with Brussels airlines on a transatlantic again!"

At one point a family was asked to move, and take their carry-ons, but they were eventually allowed to return to their seats. Somehow it was resolved and we left. No personal TV , but overhead tv showed moving map for a while, then they switched to cartoons without sound. Airlines generally don't provide the best service or use the newest aircraft on African routes, so this was typical."

Since it seemed no one was informed, the security check and on boarding took almost an hour and a half to go through. I was very surprised at the lack of communication and would appreciate that for future trips. At this time, I would think twice before booking another trip with this company."

The Yaoundé airport leadership is truly lacking and customer service is mere reference. Rudeness and unnecessary bad attitude. No coordination between the in-cabin crew and ground operation for the delivery of strollers on the side of the airplane. The signage at Casablanca Mohamed V airport needs improvement. It is very confusing for transit passengers. Almost everyone was asking for directions or where to to go next. The Casablanca airport has no arrangements for diaper change for a male traveling parent. Only one bathroom on the WHOLE terminal requiring plenty of walking"

The plane was full to capacity and as a result my whole party (5) was not stead together nor were there any attempt to fix that for us even when we asked several employes. Overall, i would not fly or recommend Royal AirMaroc"
