More vegetarian options for food even in business class. The staff was excellent. Boarding can be messy. I would really appreciate it if Turkish starts to look for better eco-friend options. The amount of plastic produced by each meal and throughout the flight is insane.
Everything was wonderful but the only thing is the kids running around and screaming. Other wise, I am very satisfied.
Pros: "Need a more improvement for the service"
Cons: "Need a proper training"
Cons: "Stay away from Turkish airlines. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced"
Pros: "crew was good seating was horrible"
Cons: "Too tight seat AND food service was terrible (ONE PERSON SERVING LOT OF PESSENGER)"
Pros: "The flight attendants were friendly, attentive and efficient."
Cons: "Many flights were grounded for several hours because of some airline operational glitch. We were provided with no information or guidance about how to resume our travels. As we tried to sort ourselves out we were sent from lineup to lineup without much progress or friendly service."
Cons: "No options to change booking and the one given was absorbant pricing"
Cons: "Check in is insanely long. Terminal 1 at JFK as usually Absolutely terrible. Line to go thru TSA is exacting 40 min at 12 am Midnight. We pay so much (in the price of our ticket) to be treated as cattle !!!"
Pros: "Service. Food everting was. Excellent"
Pros: "Turkish continues to go above-and-beyond to provide all of its passengers with a quality experience. Meals were actually good (I opt for the Vegetarian offering) and Economy seats are perfectly fine."
Cons: "Both ground staff and inflight crews border on rude, but I choose to believe it's a cultural thing and not a corporate or personal failing. Really, it's a coldness more than anything. No warmth or empathy. Planes are showing their age, particularly in the seat monitors. Screens have dead zones with inoperative icons. Also, quite a few seats were literally falling apart. But, when you fly to more countries than any other airline, some wear-and-tear is to be expected."
Pros: "Crew was outstanding. Plane was spotless. No nonsense and lots of nice people working for the airlines."
Pros: "I did not use any entertainment so I cannot review it. Overall a most pleasant experience. Will highly recommend."
Cons: "The toilets and bathrooms in the Ataturk airport."
Cons: "I like the food and the service."
Pros: "Love the food, service and movies."
Cons: "I contacted Turkish Airlines 4x times before my flight to learn how to deal with excess medical baggage, mobility assistance, and meal assistance. The Customer Call Center claimed to have made all of my necessary reservation updates for all of my special meal, medical, and mobility assistance needs. They did not! When I arrived at Check-In, there were no notes about any of my requests, nor services prepared to facilitate them. I spent over 30-45 minutes escalating the situation to the Shift Manager who had to contact the central call center and her own manager, just to find out what to do about medical baggage, what's permitted, etc. I was embarrassed for their employees, who not only didn't know their own company policy on the matter, nor were they aware of the industry standard. After much arguing, yelling and threats, the Check-In desk agents finally allowed my excess medical baggage and equipment without extra charge. I still received no mobility assistance to begin my travel after Check-In to my departure gate, nor were they prepared to offer this to me in Istanbul. Again, after a long wait, much yelling, screaming, and arguing, I was finally provided mobility assistance just in time for my flight. I almost missed my flight due to Turkish Airlines not putting my request in the system, nor caring enough about the traveler to do so at Check-In. When I arrived in Belgrade, 3x pieces of my luggage were destroyed and unusable again, medical equipment was damaged, and I filed a claim with Turkish Airlines. They tried every way possible not to pay, but finally offered a meager claim, nothing close to what it cost for the damage caused or to repair or replacement the destroyed luggage or medical equipment. Turkish Airlines is the Grey Hound of travel, sure they might be large, offer many itineraries and frequent travel, but their quality, customer service and professionalism leave them amongst the bottom feeders, still 3rd world in mentality, form and function. No honor, no integrity, no class. No reason to ever fly with Turkish again, and I'm happy to tell everyone I know not to fly with them!"
Pros: "The food, crew & entertainment system"
Cons: "The flight was delayed over two hours causing great stress and worry about missing our next flight, which we did. As there were many of us on the neit flight also I wonder if any effort was made to hold that flight for us."
Pros: "Not bad"
Pros: "The flight itself was very nice quality again. Crew was very friendly, priority boarding for international business. pod seating was super comfortable."
Cons: "No alcohol beverage service before take off. One of the only airlines that does this. Also flight was delayed again in Istanbul. We were delayed on our layover in, and out of Istanbul. Both times stuck on the tarmac. I see this as a common problem"
Cons: "I could not use my ticket I was trying to extension date but customer services terrible"
Pros: "Food and entertainment were good."
Cons: "Ground staff very unhelpful and arrogant. Wanted to upgrade to business class and the representative who served me was very rude and unhelpful. Boarding was through buses which was inefficient and messy. My trip was 11 hours of flying time. Economy seating is super tight and legroom awful. For long haul flights they must be more generous in terms of seat size and legroom."
Cons: "Good. Staff were courteous"
Pros: "The crew was excellent, the food good."
Cons: "The entertainment system, in three out of four long flights, did not work. In the one that "worked", the sound was terrible and this made the experience totally unsatisfactory. A major airline should avoid this."
Pros: "including new releases"
Pros: "Food—though not much of it! If you’re asleep, good luck getting any food afterward. They were out of breakfasts after I awoke. Didn’t they count the reservations?"
Cons: "Restrooms dirty, cabin dirty—no owriodic seeeps, staff that makes no effort to interact. They appear frantic and overworked. sure hope the pilots are more engaged than everyone w Turkish Air"
Pros: "Turkis air personnel all friendly and helpful . Food and beverages good."
Cons: "Leg room and seat spacing a little tough for 13 hour flight."
Pros: "(see above)"
Cons: "(see above)"
Cons: "I had to buy a Tukish Visa...spend the night in Istanbul.Screwed up my driver,my Mom had to call and cancel my appointments.I had no clothes,of toiletries....just a nightmare"
Cons: "Flight was delayed 2 hours before take off."
Pros: "The food, when you get what you ask for, isn't bad"
Cons: "Rude attendants, running out of food frequently, not getting options, intermittently working entertainment with poor choices."
Cons: "When we arrived walking to the shuttle the crew had thrown our play pen n stroller out on the walkway. They didnt take it inside with our luggage. It was checked in with all the suitcases! So luckly my son recognized it as we were walking by. Very disapointed if he hadnt noticed it we would of been out of luck. No baby bed or stroller! Why dont they take it with the luggage OR at least let you know they dont transfer them for you! Not happy"
Pros: "Enjoyed the long flight with warm hospitality"
Cons: "We had to wait about one hour after sitting."
Cons: "Luggage was held back in Istanbul. It was broken into and never made it to NYC. They shipped to Texas at which point it had been opened and rifled through. Unprofessional."
Pros: "Some staff wer helpful"
Cons: "Mostly as a mother traveling with a stroller, they expected me to haul everything on my own. Stroller, car seat, child, two bags! They were impatient and impolite, unresponsive when I used the steward attendance call for water or to move my child's tray (for over two hours)... there was much I didn't care with this airline, from their customer call service (I filed a complaint) to the state in which my box arrived in Mumbai (again filed a complaint but no one folllowed up with me). I wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone, especially if traveling with a child."
Pros: "Flight delayed 11.5 hours...not their fault, but there was no communication from Turkish Airlines as to what was happening."
Pros: "The flight was empty so got 3 seats to myself"
Cons: "Vegetarian meals were not good. Its a 13 and half hour leg and when in the middle of that long journey when asked for a snack, the crew was not aware of the options that were listed on their very own menu. They ended up telling me that they must have run out of one of the options listed in the menu which they were not aware even existed 2 minutes ago."
Pros: "My favorite airline!"
Cons: "Faster boarding would be great"
Pros: "The staff were all very pleasant. The food service was efficient and tasted good. The cabin was comfortable and there was plenty of entertainment in my seat display. I would fly them again."
Cons: "The flight was VERY long, from Istanbul to Los Angeles. I'm over 6 feet tall so it was difficult to sleep but there is very little the airline can do about this."
Pros: "The crew and the service. Plus the choices for entertainment"
Cons: "The chairs were really uncomfortable, I'm a young, healthy traveler, but my knees and back really hurt after this trip."
Cons: "Everything good"
Pros: "Very helpful and respectfull crew"
Cons: "Boarding started 20 mins after the designated time"
Pros: "Everyone was so sweet and they gave out eye masks which where super helpful. I was more comfortable on this flight then any other."
Cons: "It took a long time to board."
Pros: "The crew is excellent"
Cons: "The seats area are too small my knees hurt as they hit just the edge of the food tray, impossible flight with the seat other than straight as you will be disturbing a lot the other passengers, although unfortunately some people do not care about the confort of the others"
Cons: "My first flight was late which made me miss my connecting flight. The ground was horribly rude and it took over 4 hours to get me to a hotel along with at lie ask 50 other people."
Pros: "I like the food, seats and customer service"
Pros: "Good food, comfortable seat."
Cons: "Our bag arrived without the walking poles attached to it. So far (more than a week after the flight) we haven't heard from Turkish Airlines anything about our complaint regarding this loss of baggage."
Pros: "Crew was very attentive, complete punctuality, everything of high quality."
Cons: "no information o.n frequent flier program"
Air Canada crews are very professional. I am a long time customer and keep going back becausr of how i am treated
The airport in Fort Lauderdale very mediocre !
no booze being served in cattle class; there is no valid reason for this, just lazy flight attendant's union. only in biz class!
Pros: "only The crew inside the airplane and the airoplane"
Cons: "Every one in Lufthansa are so rude expect the crew"
Cons: "Put on Turkish air landed 12 hrs late lggage still missing"
Cons: "Flight was delayed My wife and I got separate seats Screen and audio on the entertainment system didn't work"
Pros: "The flight attendants were very nice and helpful. When they passed out dinner my husband and I were asleep, we woke up when they were serving drinks (right after). They got us our food. On our flight over however we didn't get options on food since they had run out. The flight crew was nice though."
Cons: "Unbeknownst to either of us the Air Canada Rouge is a low cost carrier international flight. It didn't have a player in the seat, or even old school TV's. You had to use your own device on their WiFi which was SLOW and the sound went out. The seats are small with very little leg room. I'm 5'1 (156cm) and my legs almost touched the seat in front of me. Also the airport was the biggest hinderance of getting to the gate and the airplane. After customs, to get to our gate we were told to wait in another line while they went through nearly every passenger again... And checked bags. Since it was taking so long they would let some go through without checking them. It was strange to say the least. We eventually left the gate late but made up for it in the air."
Pros: "it was a long flight, not interrupted by too many announcements"
Cons: "boarding was problematic. I paid extra for a seat closer to the front yet had to store carry on in the rear of the plane. when asking the flight personnel for assistance regarding the matter, he promptly gave me a glare and turned away totally ignoring me. In waiting until everyone had exited the plane before being able to retrieve my bag, it completely defeated the purpose of the extra expenditure. perhaps boarding the rear of the plane first. regardless, my biggest concern was I felt like the flight attendant should have responded but elected to snub me. amazingly I lived to talk about it :-)"
Cons: "For business class the accommodation was appalling. The seat would not even recline more than a couple of inches, let alone lay flat which is what one is paying for. The touch screen entertainment did not work. The flight arrived too late to make connections - again. The boarding agent at the gate in Los Angeles was one of the rudest and most arrogant men I have ever encountered. I complained to the plane's Captain about him, as he was going through. All the business class passengers around me were commenting on it. One was even filming his egregious behaviour for Facebook. He alone was enough to put one off Air Canada ."
Cons: "Didn't like the fact that food was not included in the airfare on a long flight (I think it was over 5 hours). This inconsistency between airline policies is very annoying - you never know if you can take food on-board, if you should take food along or how much you should expect to be ripped off at the terminal/on-flight. The entertainment unit stalled the entire time. Oh, and boarding... it's very odd to check-in at the domestic terminal at LAX for an international flight and I don't recall seeing any message in my email/SMS regarding this. So taxi dropped me off at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX and then I had to run over 4 terminals to get the Air Canada. A precaution about this would be nice."
Pros: "Fast boarding, no delays."
Cons: "I always fly Air Canada but I guess I wasn't aware that Air Canada Rouge was a completely different species. No entertainment at all. When we got on the plane, the sun was shining through the window & floating in the air was a mind-boggling amount of dust, feathers, etc.. flying all around... like the air was completely FILLED with them.. you couldn't get a breath of oxygen. This irritated my respiratory system immensely. They also had children helping out the flight attendants which was cute, until the one girl who had just served water to the entire plane broke out into an awful fever. They were putting ice packs on her head, giving her meds, & eventually she had to get carried through the airport. This was 5 minutes after serving water to an entire plane of passengers. I ended up getting extremely sick & missed almost a week of work. Not sure if this was the cause, but it makes sense. I will make sure 100% to never fly air canada rouge again. For $400 a ticket... doesn't make sense to experience this."
Cons: "With basically all my flights on Air Canada, there were significant delays. The delays on this flight caused me to almost miss my connection. I had to run full speed to make it to the next flight, and the attendants on this flight were very terse announcing as we were landing "Do not ask us about your connections; we have no information. Do not ask us about your luggage; we have no information" With other airlines in the past, if I have had a flight delayed by an hour, the attendants have announced where I should be headed for my connection, or have called ahead to the connecting flight (if within the same airline" and asked them to wait for us. I didn't feel that AC did anything to help make up for the fact that my flights were so late. Almost ally other AC flights on this trip we're also delayed."
Pros: "the crew didn't do anything to make it horrible Large selection of movies/tv on board comfiest seats out of all the major airlines I've flown"
Cons: "The flight kept getting delayed bc of mechanical problems, and then eventually cancelled. They got the majority of people on a new plane, but the gates kept getting changed so it was a lot of back and forth. Plus the pretzels they gave us were stale. This was the second of two flights I took this trip that had mechanical issues, so they obviously need to fix their planes better or get new ones, because two Air Canada flights in one day that have mechanical problems leaves me worried that the planes aren't in optimal condition. It took me over 24 hours to get from Tucson, AZ to Montreal, Canada when normal travel takes less than 8 hours including layovers. I am worried about my return flights, not gonna lie (for my safety and time). Thankfully I'm returning a couple of days before I return to work, but I know other people that travel for business and that is a huge inconvenience."
Cons: "Terrible experience. I bought 2 tickets for my parents from New York to Shanghai a month ago. But on the day of flight, Air Canada refused their boarding, stating that they did not have Canada visas, the fight would transfer in Montreal which needs Canada visa. I had never heard about it and it was never mentioned when I booking the tickets. I called the first customer service who was rude and not helpful. Finally, I found out that my parents had to transfer to Toronto, which does not need a visa. But in order to make the change, I had to pay Air Canada extra $1180, which were more expensive than the tickets self. At that time, I had no other choice. I am really upset. I want to warm all Chinese who don't have green card or Canada visa that do not buy tickets from Air Canada. Their customer service told me that they did not have the obligation to list this kind of information on their website. So if you choose Air Canada, you lose your money and deal with all the hassles by yourself. I will never use Air Canada in my whole life again."
Cons: "My flight from NYC to Montreal was delayed 4 hours due to a storm that had passed earlier in the day. That was understandable, however we then sat on the tarmac at the gate for an additional hour because Air Canada's entire computer system suddenly crashed. We finally got to the runway and in the middle of takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and aborted the takeoff because he did not reach high enough speed. It was very scary. I was supposed to land in Montreal at 10:20 pm but arrived there at 2:30 am the next morning."
Pros: "Air Canada Rouge business class is excellent I would recommend it to anyone"
Cons: "There was nothing that I did not like"
Cons: "I couldn't board the plane due to new documentation requirements for travelers transiting in Canada. I understand the rules of the internet fare (no returns, exchanges or cancellations) but the customer service was awful. They didn't offer me any other alternative but to loose full value of the ticket ($1700). Nobody (kayak, vayama, air canada or brussel airlines) gave me any kind of information about those new requirements and I ended up cancelling the whole trip as I couldn't find any other flight to get to Europe. Really upsetting...."
Pros: "The pilot seemed good and the staff on the plane were nice overall"
Cons: "Customer service from the group staff that checked us in was horrendous... (Lisa from Chicago ). We were not aware one of us needed eTA to fly through Canada and the agent was so belittling, rude and plane wrong with her information, that if it had not for our smarts, we might have not made it to our destination. I do not spend so much money to fly with an airline, whose agents treat it me like this! She really should be fired for her terrible manners and for giving customers wrong information..the second supervisor we talked to helped us, but the impression we got from the agent was so terrible, that it was hard to feel any good...no food on a flight during lunch hour, seems unfitting."
Pros: "The crew on board all flights were pleasant and efficient."
Cons: "When I arrived at my destination I found that the item I had gate checked had been damaged- an instrument case I was no longer able to close. The zippers had both been busted off. Due to time constraints I was invited to write a review and email which I intend to do. The item itself was gate checked for safety - and to me the damage says that still somehow it is unsafe to fly with an instrument which as a professional musician is frustrating. In addition flights have very limited food options that accommodate persons with gluten/dairy allergies."
Pros: "Staff were incredibly kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. I need wheelchair assistance and they handled that beautifully, asking thoughtful questions about my needs and adapting their plans to my answers. They also helped me with stowing my carry-on since I would have struggled alone."
Cons: "Unfortunately, through no fault of the flight crew or gate crew, we got one of the few remaining planes in the fleet that are so old that they can't fit a full carry-on bag in the overhead bins or under the seats. Larger carry-on items had to be checked through to final destination, which made a lot of passengers upset -- either because they were business people who needed to be able to work on the flight, or they had important baby gear in there that they would need before that, or they were traveling far away using multiple airlines and were rightly worried about lost luggage."
Cons: "YVR airport's Air Canada staff was extremely unprofessional. First, they cancelled my original itinerary and moved me to a flight 3 hours later. Now I understand it was holidays so I was okay thus far. I got to the airport 2 hours before the departure time and even though I had check-in online, I was requested to get into "Check-in assistance" line instead of the "baggage drop". The "Check-in assistance" line had multiple people rebooking their flights when at the counter (on an average each person was being held for 15 minutes by the slow staff). By the time I reached the counter, I was told that the gate had been closed and I will have to rebook. The staff said at that point that it was "just the way it is" and their terms and conditions have this clause saying they don't guarantee people will be boarded. Well, sure, don't board them if they're late but don't delay them on purpose and then strike them off the boarding list. Very Very disappointed."
Pros: "The ice cream and the one woman in customer service that actually seemed to care."
Cons: "My husband and I were flying to Italy, on the first leg of our flight neither of our screens worked so we had six hours with no entertainment. They gave us a card to make it up to us but (wisely) don't tell you what it is for. It turned out to be for 10% off your next flight if you book it through their website within a year. Useless. On our return flight we were delayed on the tarmac for over an hour with no air conditioning, they originally said they were waiting for a signature but then said that there was something wrong with the engines that help us take off, then the cabin filled with a fuel smell, then they said they had brought the wrong item for the repair and we were waiting for the correct one. When we finally took off my husband's screen didn't work yet again and this was a 9 hour flight. The flight attendant said that some of the screens hadn't worked for a while ( probably cheaper to hand out useless discounts than to fix them.). We received another 10% off card, which we cannot combine or transfer, again useless. We missed our connection because of the delay, they booked us on another flight but because they didn't tell us that we had to pick up our luggage or where (it was on a different carousel than the rest of the luggage from our flight) and that we had to go through customs we (and many others) missed that flight too. We finally got a flight out the next morning and they put us up at a hotel. We both had to miss another day of work and it was quite an ordeal. My husband's screen worked for almost all of that last flight before it seized up. We didn't bother to report it that time since another 10% off coupon wasn't going to do us any good. Overall it is concerning that Air Canada doesn't seem to be maintaining their planes in optimal condition and that their idea of compensation involves them making even more money from me. Never again."
Cons: "We were quite disappointed when we were told there would be a delay due to mechanical issues after already boarding and being on the plane for over two hours. Imagine our distress at being trapped in a narrow seat inside the confines of a plane still sitting on the tarmac and going nowhere with very limited climate control and circulation that added even more discomfort. This level of stress was compounded by the manner in which our minimal nutritional and hydration needs were not only met but as fare paying passengers, we were teased by a meager slice of packaged and processed sliced banana bread and a mere two cups of water. This fact is especially important because it more severely impacted my father who is diabetic and it was not sufficient for him, especially at 11:44 p.m. Also because there was no communication relayed to passengers that the problem would not be resolved the second time we boarded, Air Canada agents should have recommended or handed out dinner vouchers while we were waiting in the airport after they evacuated us the first time (since everything was closed the second time we were evacuated). We were stuck on the plane for a total of 4 hours two separate times they boarded us and in between that we waited back in the airport for 2 hours; therefore a total of over 6 hours of time past the original boarding time which lead us into 1:30am of not going anywhere. Flight was rescheduled for 23 hours later! We understand the challenges of operating an airline and trying to meet schedules and the needs of the customers. Furthermore, we appreciate diligence when it applies to the safety of flying. However, the myriad problems, distress, physical and discomfort not to mention the over 23 hellish hours, was exacerbated by the following: the lack of communicaton and bad information; the paucity of empathy reflected by all Air Canada employees toward our aggregation; the measures taken to mitigate the damage inflicted to what was to be our “dream vacation” and finally the scarcity of adequate accommodation and compensation for all that we endured. We too lost one night at the Barcelona Universal Hotel worth $207, not to mention a lost vacation day worth over $600 in salary for 8 hours for us. Air Canada should be held to higher standards and more responsible for keeping up to date on their aircraft maintenance checks and regulations. There was also no specific hotel address on the voucher issued which caused us to drive to two different sheraton 4 points locations until we finally reached our destination which there was no vacancy. Luckily after lingering around in the lobby and me having to call multiple hotels to verify vacancy, one room became available and we ended up inviting another family to stay in our room that night (other Air Canada victims). We didn’t get to bed until 5am that following morning after all of that ruckus!!"
Pros: "I don't have much that I liked besides the fact that it got me from Venice to Montreal."
Cons: "The service from the attendants is probably the worst that I've ever had. I had to ring someone and remind someone twice that I received the wrong customs form. Finally I had to walk back to the end of the plane where I saw four stedeardesses giggling over someone's phone. I missed one of the meals because I was dozing off and when I requested some food I was told that there was none left. The entertainment is subpar. You need a mobile or device with he app already installed. And even so the movies and shows are outdated and not very entertaining at all. On top of that, both legs of my flight my outlet was not working and not charging my device. Air Canada rouge- never again!"
Cons: "My traveling partner - Giovanni Medina - was given ill properly prepared food. He ended up getting food poisoning. We had a connecting flight in Montreal to Orlando (our final destination and home), he was suffering during the 2 hour lay over with an ill stomach and then had to suffer 3 more hours on a flight home. He was stopped from being able to go to the bathroom before takeoff because they needed him seated, but he immediately started vomiting right before we took off. He then spent the rest of the ride sick, they allowed him to move to the back in order to use the bathroom rather than the vomit bags, but he was not comfortable at all. He spent the rest of the night after landing in the bathroom continuing to vomit. We chose this airline because of the rave reviews of the food, entertainment, and hospitality of the crew. The latter two were certainly true. We definitely wanted to make sure that you knew of situation because this was a seriously uncomfortable situation for him and we would not want this to happen to anyone else. He had the chicken meal and the meat pastry on the flight."
Pros: "Plane left on time, smooth flight, arrived on schedule."
Cons: "1. Food very substandard. Hot food not very well prepared and rather tasteless, and snack was like a cardboard wrap with some salsa sauce in it. A disgrace to a major airline like Air Canada. Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"
Pros: "People that helped us were personable"
Cons: "The flight was delayed 40 and then 50 minutes. No announcements were made, the screen just changed. I'm glad I went up to ask about my connecting flight to Athens; if I had waited and got on the flight, I would have missed my connection. The people at the AirCanada desk were nice, and were able to find us other seats. However, we were promised seats on the 7:30 flight, but instead were put on the 5:45 flight. We asked for the AirCanada person to call back and change our flight, but she said we would have time (at this point, 1 hour and 20 minutes before the flight left), even though I showed her that there was a lot of traffic between LGA and JFK and we probably would not make it. We had to leave LGA, find our bags and wait in a long taxi line to sit in traffic in a cab we had to pay for our of pocket, and could not make the 5:45 flight. I then had to call AirCanada and wait for 15 minutes for the lady to switch us to the 7:30 flight. In all, we also lost 2 full hours in Athens."
Pros: "I can't think of anything I'd really like an Air Canada . Even when they initially told me I needed to buy the wine and finally gave me one bottle for free, it really tasted like vinegar . I couldn't drink it ,"
Cons: "The worst part of thiis experience with Air Canada was the fact that there was no entertainment on board . They are supposedly switching to this system where you are supposed to download the Air Canada entertainment app on your phone or your tablet to be able to watch anything . Even though I supposedly had free Wi-Fi in The Athens airport, I was unable to download the app so I spent 11 hours with nothing to do on my way to Montreal. I wonder what they expect elderly or very young flyers to do . Most of these don't have tablets or smart phones . They did have some tablets for rent for $10, but not enough for everyone. Would not recall mend this airline for a transatlantic flights without checking whether the airplane has onboard entertainment first ."
Cons: "on march 13/ 2016 booked my tickets on kayak.com so end up getting it with vayama.on july 28 missed my flight for a family raison called vayama and explained the situation they said they will help me just they need to confirm with the airlines (air canada) and they will give me new tickets.no body called me back ,called air canada said: we have ticket but you need to get it from vayama.called vayama again he said sorry about that i will let everyone know and he promise me that i will get help a.s.a.p.did't hear from them left with my wife and two kids in morocco for a week end up buying new tickets from laufthansa."
Cons: "Flight out of Newark delayed so we were going to miss the connection. We were rebooked to fly via London but we lost 6 hours in Rome. Air Canada attendant at Newark said the flight was always delayed and passengers regularly needed to be rebooked. You should recommend air Canada cancels selling this itinerary or bringing the Newark flight forward to de risk any delays"
Cons: "1. They loan out iPads for entertainment which you had to pay for because the plane was an older model and there were no individual tv screens available. This should be a free service with the amount of fare I paid for the trip. 2. Also on my way to Rome, flying air canada, too, my husband and i fell asleep and missed our meals. When I asked the crew for my meals they said "it's unsafe to give it to me anymore." But that's what refrigerators are for - to store food safely for passengers. I just don't buy their reasoning. It's just an excuse not to serve passengers. Needless to say my husband and I went hungry until they served breakfast. 3. From LA to Toronto & Montreal back to LA, was a 4-6 hr flight where they don't feed you or give you blankets. When I asked why blankets are not available, the crew said, "because that's all what we'll be doing is handing out blanket." The crew should realize that providing comfort for their passengers is a huge part of their service they should provide. This was my first time flying with air canada and I was very disappointed. Air Canada will definitely not be on my top airlines to fly next time."
Pros: "Flight attendant's were friendly amid the circumstances."
Cons: "Our first flight was cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled take-off. upon being bumped to another flight two hours later, that flight was delayed two hours after an issue during take-off. We remained on the plane while mechanic/engineering staff rectified the problem. We booked a flight to save time on driving. We would have arrived earlier had we drove. I understand things happen, but the airline eneds to take responsibility and show some good customer service. Aside from the pilot, no apology given, no reimbursement offered. Disappinting. Air Canada is now a last-resort option for a frequent flyer like myself."
Pros: "The movie selection was relatively good."
Cons: "They changed my seat 3 times before I got on the plane (from a window seat to an aisle seat and much farther back on the plane). I didn't complain and got on the plane, only to be told for a forth time (after I had already settled in my seat) that I had to change my seat again, to a middle seat. It was by far the least comfortable seat I have sat in with very little room both in front of and next to me. Nobody should be asked to move like that, especially after choosing my seat online at least three months prior to the flight when I purchased my ticket. Food also not great."
Cons: "I booked a flight for 8pm on Friday 7/29. Night of 7/28, I found out my plans changed and wanted to try and find an earlier flight. I called the help line and waited on hold for 1hour and 45min. The man I spoke with was able to move my flight to 12:50p for $200 change flight fee and $207 ticket difference. I arrive at the airport for this flight only to learn that the man last night moved my flight to the next day, Saturday 7/30. After over an hour of waiting and pleading, the check in attendant was able to get me back on my original flight and return the monies I paid for the seat change. However I had to wait at the airport for 8 hours until my flight, after wasting 2 hours on the phone and another hour at the check-in desk... 11hours total. THEN, they cancelled my 1:30pm return flight and could only get me on an 8pm flight, so another 8 hrs of waiting around. Customer service was terrible throughout. Will never fly this airline again"
Pros: "I think a little more leg room compare to some economy flights."
Cons: "I was very unhappy that I could not sit with my husband both ways when we booked the flight together. And we got middle seats which we hate and requested aisle seats. We were also initially placed extremely far away and I was able to change seats to at least being closer, but not together. There was a couple that was throwing a fit that they weren't sitting together in my husband's aisle. The water they provided came from a pitcher and not a bottle and it tasted nasty. I did ask for hot tea on one of the flights and was told they had nothing hot. My tray table was dirty. Sticky stuff on the buckle of the seatbelt. Used plastic cup by my seat when boarding."
Cons: "When boarding the plane, they called the zones too quickly. Then there was an Air Canada representative giving bad directions to the passengers as to where to get in line. Then she got annoyed and was disrespectful to the passengers as they were trying to get in line. She needed to give better directions or change the way they called the zones. Air Canada knew the flight to Montreal was delayed when we left London. They changed our reservation to Toronto to a flight that we still couldn't connect with because of timing. It would have been easier if they were more realistic with the timing of the flight and booked us on a later flight to Toronto."
Pros: "The in-flight entertainment was satisfactory."
Cons: "-They wanted to check my bag at the gate, so I let them, and they lost it, for two and a half days, all the while being rather smug to me about it, saying things like "what do you want me to do about it." -On a 6 hour international flight starting at 9:45AM and landing at 6PM they did not offer us even a pretzel or peanut. This flight definitely spans lunch hours, but they insist you pay for even the smallest snack. -Customer service has been repeatedly short with me (I have had other incidents with lost luggage). They act like whatever happened could not have been avoided, and that you should know your place as a traveller. The idea of the customer being right is totally lost on them. CONCLUSION: they simply don't care. This airline was a monopoly for years, and it shows in their daily operations. They are ineffective, and entitled, and I will go far out of my way not to deal with them again."
Pros: "The fact that there is a way to have on board entertainment but this was clitchy. Hot snack was welcome. Pillows and blankets. Direct flight from Casa."
Cons: "Rude and filthy airline hostess. Having greasy hair and being rude is totally unprofessional. Requesting that a sleeping passenger bring their chair to upright position so that the passenger behind can have a snack? It doesn't make sense. This flight was not full at all and we were strongly urged to check our carry-on due to this. Well they didn't apparently see the fragile sticker as our latern and ceramics were damaged and the bag came out on the main conveyor. Also the door wouldn't open for baggage upon arrival so we were delayed an hour?"
Pros: "The customer service folks at Air Canada. They worked very hard to get us on the second flight. Running through the airport with us, pleading with TSA to move along, trying to talk sense to some guy who eventually allowed people to get off a flight, but wouldn't let us on. I guess its easy to make those decisions when he makes the call from some office via a phone and doesn't have to face customers. All other Air Canada employees we worked with were exceptional!!! Kudos to them."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed 3 hrs from London. Once in Montreal the systems that Air Canada uses to correct the situation are horrible. There was no way we would be able to catch our rescheduled flight in the time it takes to deboard, go through customs, get bags, recheck bags, go through security. We didn't. We missed the next flight too despite the heroic efforts by the staff (excpetion - TSA security. They moved very very slow to the point that they seemed passive aggressive to our situation). This is the second time it has happened. I probably won't fly Air Canada again, if possible."
Cons: "My flight to Montreal never happened. After the delay in Cleveland, I got contradictory information about wether my connection was late or on time. I ran and got to the gate for the montreal flight while they were doing their last call. At first they told me I was going to be able to get on the flight, then they said I was not on the flight, and they turned me down ... I found out later that while flying to Toronto, Air Canada had changed my flight because they estimated I was not going to make my connection!!! I had to wait in line for 2 hours to get rebooked, and after waiting, the person who was rebooking my flight decided to take on another person and made me wait even longer. I was sent to Frankfurt instead of Montreal!"
Pros: "The idea of READ BOOKS via the in-plane entertainment system. Very limited book choices so not of interest, and often interrupted as the system kept dropping. Great opportunity though to expand Vs boring and mindless TV shows and low rated straight to video view movies."
Cons: "Delayed, food (best not to touch), seat PC power charge plugs didn't work, was NOT allowed to use wireless PC mouse !!! (1st ever in 20 years of off-line PC use to work on planes), the seats were old and smelled, the in-plane access to movies plug-in didn't work, the TV shows kept disconnecting, crew had no idea how to correct, Montreal airport was dirty and poorly maintained, the one restaurant with service had the worst food I ever ate with promised internet access and PC / Phone charging facilities NOT working. Amazing stuff !!. So awful it now seems funny !...Almost missed my days in and out Sanaa Airport in Yemen with Yemen Air !!!"
Cons: "My flight with Air Canada from Barcelona to the final destination of Atl was an awful experience. Our flight was delayed for no apparent reason causing my friend and I to miss our connecting flight. The Air Canada crew did re-book our connecting flight, however there was so much confusion on whether or not we had to go through customs since we landed in Montreal and our new flight was with Delta not Air Canada, that we ended up rushing through lines after lines of customs in the Montreal airport only to learn we could have avoided it all. On top of that, we were told multiple things about our baggage. To be safe we tried to go through customs and pick up our bags to be rechecked, but our bags weren't there. When we asked they said they had been put on our Delta flight, however in actuality they were stored in a closest. Needless to say, our bags did not travel with us and my friend and I had to spend hours at the Atl airport trying to locate our bags and arrange to have them flown to Atl and delivered to us. The flight itself was okay but their in flight entertainment options were awful. You either have to download the Air Canada app (which wouldnt download) or rent an Ipad for $10. The food wasn't great either. The crew members were nice but a little impatient and the bathrooms were gross. Overall, I won't fly Air Canada again."
Pros: "The airline personnel in Montreal was accommodating when several of us missed our connecting flights, automatically providing a hotel room and food vouchers for each of us."
Cons: "We were delayed an hour because of a miscommunication with the refueling truck in Montreal before the flight came to Bradley. Then, we sat almost another hour on the tarmac at Bradley Airport because the flight plan was not approved. This caused me and several travelers (out of a small flight of approx. 20 people) to miss our connections in Montreal. Miscommunication seems to be normal for AirCanada, at least in Montreal (almost missed my connection on the way home, too). I will not fly again with this airline in the foreseeable future."
Cons: "Very very bad customer service. I was flying to Rome from NYC on Friday night and my flight was cancelled. I was just notified by a text saying that there was a change in my flight. After calling customer service, I was forced to take the afternoon flight on Friday as I had to be in Rome for a wedding on Saturday. Even if I was rushed to the airport (my call with the customer service took place at 12.00 and the flight was after 2.30 hours...) and cancelled all my appointments and had to take special permission to leave from work, I was never offered any upgrades or refunds while at the same time the attitude of the rep was take the change or leave it. At the airport, I called again the customer service to understand better the cancellation policy based on their website and their response was to apply on the website and maybe I would get a little bit of money and they don't offer upgrades for these kind of situations. They indicated that it is up to gate manager to decide for upgrades, which when I tried this approach I was notified that the customer service should have flag me appropriately....I don't really care about the refund or the upgrade as at the end I was able to reach my destination on time; however, it was extremely disappointing to see a whole organization that does not take into consideration their customers time and ignore any descent customer service to them. Simply, never again."
Cons: "The wait for security into the terminal in Toronto was absolutely ridiculous. And then I realized they only had 2 doors out of the 5 open???? For over an hour and a half? I could have missed my flight had I not found someone who let me get in line with them. 20 people DID miss the flight. Absolutely ridiculous. When we asked security if we could be expedited they said we had to take it up with Air Canada. So here I am taking it up with you. And then when we finally DID get to Montreal, we were taken to the international terminal. How does that happen??? This delayed me even more, causing me and the entire plane to wait while they figured out what to do with us. Because of these mistakes and delays, I missed the final bus that would have taken me to my final destination. I had to spend 175 dollars on a hotel because I was stranded. I am a student. This is no small fee to pay. I would like to demand that I get at least that amount in reimbursement for this HUGE mistake."
Pros: "Flight crew was friendly."
Cons: "Horrible smelly crampy cloth seats, awful food, they don't offer complementary wine and beer for international flights like other carriers, no tvs in the headrest. The flight crew works slower then I have ever observed in my over 200 flights. Took them 1hr 40min to serve what they called "dinner", Delta and others knocks it out in 30!!! And don't get thirsty, You'll die of dehydration before you get a drop of water. They treat ice like its gold. 2 cubes for each drink. If u ask for more u get one more cube. Lol. It was just a horrible experience! I will never fly Air Canada again."
Cons: "The fact that because I was late for my flight, my reservation was cancelled. I was not given the opportunity to change my flight at all, I just lost out on the return portion of my travel. I would have been willing to pay a fee to change my return, but not given the opportunity. Had I booked directly with the airline, they would have had no problem making a change. Buyer beware!!! If you don't book directly with an airline, you may suffer the same fate as me! This was an almost $1,300 dollar learning experience. Do not use third party online booking agents! You do not have the same protections as dealing with the airlines directly."
Pros: "I liked the cleanliness of the plane and how the crew were kind and helpful. I liked that it was a direct flight, but I had to pay around $150 more than other flights available because this one worked best for me for my timeline of travelling."
Cons: "I did not like how the lights were kept on for the entire red eye flight. I flew to China last year on a different airline and the plane was kept dark once we took off so people could sleep. I would have preferred if the crew also only gave drinks at the beginning of the flight after take-off and the end before we landed, rather than in the middle of the flight, interrupting people's sleeps. The flight was more expensive than many I saw available and wasn't worth it other than the fact it was a direct flight."
Pros: "Worst service I've ever had"
Cons: "The flight for Montreal was half empty and than there was a flight to Toronto Hallf empty as well, and the flight Toronto to Montreal was half empty...by coincidence our flight Halifax-Montreal on Sunday at 19:15 was cancelled due to technical issues. However it was obvious that AirCanada didn't care about the passenger time or valued it...instead of flying 3 empty flights they cancelled our flight and maximize capacity on the other planes...not happy we didn't get any voucher and we wasted 4 hours of our time and didn't have dinner until 1 am"
Pros: "Entertainment selection was excellent and the liquor selection exceeded expectation. Very smooth flight."
Cons: "Didn't give us US customs forms, had to ask, only got one, had to ask again, and then rushed to fill them out and THEN customs threw them out and we had to do everything on the computer. I would think that the crew would be familiar with this process at their home airport and not waste our time. Also, no one could tell us if we would have to go through security again and if we could buy any liquids in Paris duty free to bring home due to the liquid rule and going through security. Just a wildly uninformed airline (asked our crew and other AC officials) they couldn't answer a few simple questions."
Cons: "Boarding was delayed due to crew unavailability. Entertainment did not work due to connectivity issued during flight. No cookies nor snacks were served vs outbound flight where they offered 3 snacks!"
Cons: "We did not have dinner as we tried to get some sleep on this 6.5 hour overnight flight to London. The 767 was in a 2-3-2 configuration for economy plus and general economy. Thankfully they kept the temps cool to the point where we used our coats as additional blankets. I appreciated that the FA’s did not wake us for dinner and they closed my window shade at some point. They were 100% polite and helpful. That said, with the new Polaris Business Sears, UAL has eliminated the restrooms between Business and Economy. So it is a very long walk to the restrooms from Econ Plus and it appears that there are only 4 restrooms for about 120 passengers. Absurd. My family made do because we used the restrooms in the middle of the night when most people were sleeping but this would have been a nightmare after breakfast or with a small child. It appears that UAL has gone for profit over customer satisfaction."
Cons: "I ran to the gate from my previous flight, but it turned out this flight had been delayed. The flight boards and United app didn't show that though."
Cons: "I was flying with Air Canada. The UI for watching movies was not good, it had a hard time to respond to the inputs. It was also hard to move the videos forward to the part I needed. Plus, the audio wasn't working well with my own earphones."
Pros: "Getting home."
Cons: "It was an older airplane. For a long flight from Montreal to San Francisco, a plane with more room would be more humane. People were lined up for the bathrooms most of the trip since could not use the small first class bathroom. If one wanted a meal, it was one you had to pay for. Broken monitor"
Pros: "United is fine."
Cons: "They have a Delay and they comunicated late. I traveled with a 3 month old baby, so you can imagine whe you have a delay of more than 5 hours."
Pros: "There is nothing to like about Air Canada's Rouge service. Their sardine seat layouts are amongst the worst in the industry."
Cons: "1. Seat comfort. 2. On-time departure. 3. Boarding Procedures. 4. Pre-boarding announcements."
Pros: "Nice flight!"
Cons: "Huge line to take off at Newark Airport"
Pros: "Clean plane, comfy seats and friendly staff"
Cons: "All was good. Didn’t have any problems."
Cons: "There HAS to be a different snack choice than just salted pretzels, right? Not everyone is a fan of those. And although it may have been a last-minute issue, learning that there was no WiFi as we ascended 10,000’ into the air was quite disappointing. No techie around to troubleshoot that while we were boarding? Otherwise, the flight was uneventful and the crew was pleasant enough."
Pros: "Flight on time"
Cons: "Travel plans will be impacted due to lost luggage"
Pros: "the comped hotel"
Cons: "Improper handling of situation. There was flight scheduled later, but CS agent kept jerking us around. By the time I reached the United counter, the next flight was full. My total flight time was 36 hours. I still can’t believe that the pilot was missing. Worse yet, the agent at the gate could have made things much easier instead of telling everyone that a pilot was on his way to the airport."
Pros: "Ahead of schedule"
Cons: "Plane was hot. Light sweat almost whole flight"
Pros: "Nice attendant, food OK, no delay."
Cons: "Internet costs"
Pros: "it was ok just a long flight"
Cons: "food too high"
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Baltimore to SF was delayed 30 min too Service need to improve"
Pros: "The crew was so friendly and accomodating. What a great experience!!"
Pros: "Put us up in the hilton."
Cons: "Told us to run across the airport just to get there and they already shut the doors 20 minutes before the scheduled departure. had to miss another day of work..."
Pros: "On time in spite of a late start Gate attendants were nice and helpful Comfortable as is possible in economy without spending a lot more money. Food (pretzels and drinks) as good as possible without spending more money. (I remember the good old days when you got much more in seating and food for your money)"
Cons: "This flight I had a window seat and I felt like I couldn't get up to stretch my legs or use the bathroom. (I am 70 and 4 hours is too long to sit) I usually get an isle seat but ALWAYS have to give up my bag at the gate - my bag which you tell me I can bring ON the plane with me. I do not like having to waste time claiming my bag that you told me I could have with me on the plane. I can pay $25 for that privilege!! The flight attendants always seem like they have their defenses up. One even held up the people trying to board so she could serve a drink to someone in first class. REALLY?? They couldn't wait till the plane was loaded?? I gave this flight a 'good' rating because it was mostly as good as it is going to get with economy passengers needs stripped to the bare minimum."
Pros: "TV and entertainment"
Pros: "The flight attendants were great."
Cons: "My flight was late and I missed my connecting flight. The next flight I got put on was delayed several times. I'm in the military and I was late checking into my command."
Cons: "I'm 5"10 and sat in a middle seat. I had zero leg room. Never a prob on other airlines. Thank god flight was short."
Pros: "No comment"
Cons: "My flight was 7:20 pm staff didn't let anyone know how many hours gonna be delayed and got the message from United Airlines 8:30 departure but it's allready 8:57 pm plain did not arrive yet staff still didn't let anyone know, I need to go to the counter and ask them how many hours gonna be delayed."
Cons: "See above comments."
Pros: "couldn't access wifi. crowded cabin. passengers being loud/obtrusive. long delay for takeoff."
Pros: "Service and attitude of the staff was outstanding"
Pros: "Everbody seemed nice. Smooth ride."
Cons: "The back bins get filled too quickly. Same issue going and coming."
Cons: "The flight was delayed more times than I can count & cancelled around midnight. AWFUL!"
Pros: "Both flights arrived early."
Cons: "First leg delayed on Tarmac for over an hour so I missed my connection. Then united rebooked me for the next day but gave me no voucher or money towards a hotel so I had to get one myself since it was all night in the Houston airport.mthem the rebooked flight had mechanical problems we had to change airplanes, and gates/terminals and were delayed another 2.5 hours. It was terrible."
Pros: "You guys let me on the plane after i had been removed"
Cons: "it was a short flight very fast no complaints"
Cons: "Flight was delayed due to no captain pilot available"
Pros: "The flight attendants gave me a whole can of soda vice just pouring one single cup"
Cons: "Baggage fees."
Cons: "The plane was tiny and the seats were tiny. Could not carry on a bag and it took a long time to get the bag back from having been gate checked."
Pros: "Easy boarding and flight was on-time as usual."
Cons: "Very small seats (I'm 6' 200lbs) and felt very cramped."
Pros: "Quick flight and also very nice people working. They took good care of us for our short time with them."
Cons: "I have no complaints about this flight. It went very smooth."
Pros: "It was okay."
Cons: "The attention but they need to clean more. Bathroom were really nasty."
Cons: "Boarded the aircraft and were prepared to depart approximately 20 mins prior to original departure time, then sat on the aircraft for 1.5 hrs waiting to get deiced. Something logistically is screwed with that scenario."
Pros: "Everything was amazing"
Cons: "The process to travel"
Pros: "Flight attendants were nice"
Cons: "Food quality"
Cons: "Rest rooms were clean, food was adorable, good coffee, no complaints."
Pros: "Seats were comfortable. Entertainment system stopped working part way through"
Cons: "Boarding at Brussels was awful. After arriving from another international city and having to go through security, I was informed , just before boarding that I had to go to a location 20 gates away and wait in a long line for another security sticker. It was very confusing."
Cons: "If we hadn't been delayed for an hour due to issues with late passengers Breakfast was minimal and not very good Entertainment options were limited Some of the crew seemed dismissive of African or African-presenting passengers"
Pros: "It was ok"
Pros: "More space that on competitors."
Cons: "The crew was not particularly pleasant to deal with. Also, the seat kept reclining itself without me ever pressing the button. Had to constantly adjust it."
Pros: "Brussels airlines business class seats were the most comfortable I have sat in."
Cons: "The United airlines business class seats were too crowded with no privacy. You have to climb over your neighbor to to use the rest room."
Cons: "To be given a blanket. And better choice in music"
Pros: "Made up tons of time en route."
Cons: "Usual 737 narrow-ish seat issues. Turbulence, but not a problem anyone could control."
Cons: "It was very cold they need to lower the temperature."
Pros: "The plane was clean and seats were comfortable considering 2.5. hour flight; all crew members were nice and friendly; there was some food available for purchase but we didn't buy it since we ate at the airport before the flight. I would definitely fly again."
Cons: "no TV or other entertainment options so make sure to bring your own device or a book."
Cons: "Delayed. Crew seemed pretty annoyed to have people aboard. Will avoid next time."
Cons: "The bags took over 45 minutes to be delivered"
Cons: "1) They left our luggage at Brussels, the lost and found desk in Venice that handles Brussels airlines was unmanned. Took 40 minutes to talk to a person. 2) Although promised to bring the luggage on the next day, only brought 2 days after! We had to buy some cloth and still waiting for response from them. 3) We almost missed the connection flight (we had almost hour and a half) because the line for connection flight security was enormous and only 1 person worked in the security. Not only that we were rushed by the crew to RUN (!!!) for the bus, that was ridiculous ! We could fall and hurt ourselves."
Cons: "Despite the fact that I reserved a window seat, I was assigned a seat in the middle of the center row. They also 'sanitized' the airplane twice after that closed the doors before take off. They walked up and down the aisle with aerosol spray cans. I don't think people should be subject to unknown chemicals in order for the airline to save time on cleaning the cabin before take off."
Pros: "Everything about the flight."
Pros: "Overall good flight, get what you pay for."
Cons: "Had to hop to a couple different counters because no one knew who air Brussels subsidiary was at the cincinatti airport. I didn’t think to check ahead so also on me for poor planning."
Pros: "The flight was pleasant and the crew was friendly and professional. I pre-ordered a special meal, which came with no problems."
Cons: "The boarding process was so disorganized. They called us for boarding but crammed all of us into a waiting area before the boarding door was open. We were all standing in tight conditions for 50 minutes before we were let through and ended up taking off late. They later made an announcement on the plane that this was due to a problem with the airline's cleaning crew."
Pros: "Film selection"
Cons: "Food was disgusting"
Pros: "Crew was polite, but..."
Cons: "The flight attendants seemed unused to the idea that Orthodox Jews won't sit beside people of the opposite sex. This made boarding take longer than it needed to. The airline should figure out a way to streamline this process on flights to/from Tel Aviv."
Cons: "The service and constant mistakes on rebooking a cancelled flight that ended in more than 6 hours delays and luggage lost"
Pros: "Excellent service and a safe flight."
Pros: "Food was fair, and the boarding process involved multiple checks by the same people, of the same documents. Seems redundant, and there are probably more productive ways to check. Seats very uncomfortable for such a new plane. Ugh, can’t wait to get off. Movie selection mediocre."
Cons: "Food and seats"
Cons: "Sardine tin bus transfers from hell."
Pros: "Due to horrendous traffic we got to the airport after check-in but before the plane took off, but they would not let us board and would not allow us to transfer tickets for even any fee. They will not let us use our return tickets either. Is this how you do business? I'm totally disheartened and disgusted by the lack of customer service or even care."
Cons: "We missed.our flight and no one would work with us to reschedule or refund even a partial refund. We missed out flight due to terrible traffic and now we are out $2500 this is terrible."
Pros: "Quick flight, on time."
Cons: "Boarding at Brussels airport had to go through a gate, a bus, then out across the airport to the tarmac. Not really a problem, but should be aware if travelling this way. Warning to travellers using this short flight: food/drink only available with payment."
Pros: "Excellent feature that shows your current trip progress on the world map. Excellent selection of movies. Excellent employees."
Cons: "The seat was alittle uncomfortable."
Cons: "Flight delayed and waited over an hour at baagage claim .no one to speak to or help. Worker at baggage claim sitting on phone ."
Cons: "Stingy with food, very little entertainment if at all"
Cons: "Complete desinfprmation. No announcements and lack of support stuff. Worst airline experience ever"
Pros: "Problem was, my luggage didn't arrive. I am now in front of lost and found desk, expecting it will come one of next days. My additional problem is, I am traveling on Wednesday in remote area by car and need desperately my luggage!"
Cons: "Flught was delayed more than 45 min from Brussels and when we finally arrived to Lisabon they couldn't open a door to Airport building."
Pros: "Very hardworking crew, always offering extra food, snacks, water, patient with smiles and great attitude Very good food in economy, I was surprised"
Pros: "The fare, that's it."
Pros: "Fast Boarding"
Cons: "Was waiting for a lagguage over 30min at Tegel airport"
Cons: "- No order to the boarding in Brussels. I am used to boarding in zones so things tend to be less congested leading up to the jetway. - This may or may not have been something the airline could have changed but sitting in the plane for 5 hours waiting to de-ice was unacceptable. The entire food service was served in this time so no food was available for the 6 hour flight to Accra. Had we been able to wait in the terminal, passengers could get their own food and the food for the flight could have been saved. Also, they ran out of chicken dishes by the time I was served and I was left with fish only. Had I been a vegetarian, this would have been unacceptable."
Pros: "Good seats."
Cons: "No infotainment screen."
Pros: "Alles goed"
Cons: "The delay (due to weather) that caused me to miss the connection."
Cons: "When I got to the airport my airline informed me that it was a standby ticket, which it never told me when booking and I can't believe it wa a standby ticket because it wasn't cheap."
Pros: "Once on the aircraft, the flight was quite nice. The drinks and food were very good. The flight attendants were very helpful. Having blankets was very nice, since it was very cold in some sections near the toilets. I was selected for supplementary search but the attendants were very efficient and courteous."
Cons: "No one explained why one needed to go through the Brussels Airlines pre-check gate (at gate #40) and have our passports reviewed again and a sticker added. It was a mess. At the gate, it wasn't clear where the boarding lines were compared to the lines to see a desk clerk and no one was around to explain what was going on. We didn't know if there was another check going on or it was a boarding line."
Pros: "flight staff were very professional."
Cons: "The aircraft was filthy, very dirty, especially the toilet and the sitting area. Terrible food. Very hot, AC did not work well. Outdated movies and TV series."
Pros: "Food was served often including an ice cream bar after the meal. The crew was very kind, especially Neils. They made us feel comfortable. The flight was smooth and the pilot made necessary announcement clearly."
Cons: "The first meal was not great. But it did have many components. The movie selection was sparse."
Pros: "The crew was very friendly"
Cons: "No free food offered though i was in transit all day, uncomfortable chairs, no entertainment"
Cons: "I didn´t like arriving to Sevilla with no luggage and no explanation of its whereabouts. I appreciate finally getting it 4 days later but I was not happy about me having to spend time and money going back to the airport to get it myself since your company was unable to deliver it to me. I expect full compensation"
