Cons: "Air Canada only offered drinks during the flight. If you do not have a credit card with you, you can not eat anything. the flight was 4 hours and 45 minutes but there was a problem, this detour was an additional 2 hours and 30 We were a total of almost 7 hours inside the plane and without eating any"
Pros: "Food in premium economy was pretty good."
Cons: "Flight was 2 hours late leaving Heathrow"
Pros: "I’m not sure whether Air Canada has turned over a new leaf or Boeing built a better airplane. Maybe a bit of both. The ambiance is marvellous in the 787. The Flight attendants were attentive and thoughtful (remembering what I was drinking). We left snd landed on time. And the entertainment system is one of the best I’ve experienced."
Cons: "I couldn’t properly adjust my seat. That shouldn’t happen on such a new aircraft. Other than that, and the fact I couldn’t sleep, everything was good."
Cons: "For the second time I traveled with Air Canada there was a delay and no plane in Toronto to make the connection. I will not be traveling with Air Canada ever again"
Pros: "I liked the entertainment. The crew was very attentive."
Cons: "One of the meals wasn’t extremely desirable."
Pros: "Great food and good space for economy"
Pros: "we had to pay for everything"
Cons: "Some of the crew was a bit rude and snippy"
Cons: "I don’t like the head games air Canada plays when they know the flight is probably not going to leave for three hours and they purposely don’t update the flight details. Only update every 20 minutes for a three hour delay...."
Pros: "Organised zones for boarding"
Cons: "i am à French National ( France) living in UK. After a confusing conversation from the officer not understanding that I was not travelling to France ( assumption) I was asked to show evidence I had the right to enter UK !!!! I explained I lived there permanently ; I was then asked why French hate English so much!!! To which I explained only narrow minded people would believe so and that the style of her comment were not appropriate . I explained my children were half French half British and that her comment was offensive ."
Pros: "Got there with minimal delays"

Cons: "when boarding they didn't have a seat assigned for me so I had to wait till everyone was in there seats ! I was not impressed"
Cons: "Air Canada cancelled the flght without notification. Sat in the airport from 10:45 in the morning until boarding call at 13:30! There were 8 cancelled flights to NYC because of Toronto return scheduling conflicts resulting from runway repair work. Air Canada customer service desk was horrible."
Cons: "It was a red eye so I tried to sleep but it was cold in the plane and they had run out of free blankets. They still had other blankets but they cost $17. We were offered water once on an 8 hour flight. The plane was not equipped with TV monitors.."
Cons: "It was a much older plane than I'm used to, and a really long flight to have no entertainment options. Seats were more cramped than normal, and even numbered weird, it took me some time to find my seat. Overhead storage was very difficult to get into."
Pros: "Arrived early at check in counter and was offered to catch an earlier flight"
Cons: "Was not able to use a toddler booster for my daughter"
Pros: "Flight from Windsor to Toronto wa good. The connecting flight was cancelled and the next flights was over booked so we had to over night in Toronto. Then get up at 530 to get the 6am hotel shuttle in order to get back to airport for our 8am flight. They seem to always cancel the 9pm flight from Thunder Bay to Toronto because not full enough."
Cons: "Our connecting flight from Toronto to Thunder Bay was cancelled. Then we had to get up at 530am to get the 6am hotel shuttle in order to get back to airport for our 8am flight. They seem to always cancel the 9pm flight from Thunder Bay to Toronto because not full enough. And the last flight is over sold so we have to stay the night in Toronto. Then don't offer the 9pm flight. Passengers have other commitments in their life's. We don't need AC to just hold us over for the night because one of their flights is have empty."
Cons: "Our two-hour layover in Vancouver turned into five and a half hours. No explanation, no compensation, no consideration. This is the third time in a row Air Canada has done this to us - we're taking WestJet from now on."
Cons: "The crew was unbelievably rude"
Cons: "At first, due to condensation issue, a lot of water was dripping from ceiling to passenger seats and crews were just passing tissues and saying its natural and they cannot avoid this issue... I fly a lot through out the year and never seen this happening before. Okay, this can happen but how crews dealt with the issue was so unprofessional. Also, on my way back from ICN-YVR, my seat was right beside the washroom and the door of this washroom was not fully closed when it was not in use. Therefore, it lighted up all the time and smelled all the time as well. I complained this to one of crews and told her to close the door at least whenever she was passing by. She didn't do at all haha. Cannot believe this is one of Canada's major flight companies..."
Pros: "Everything was quick and efficient in boarding and replanting, the captains spoke to us to tell us what was going on. Food was good."
Cons: "My tv screen was broken, meal service was pretty late and drinks were not served before, as a result the lights were only off in the flight for a very brief while."
Pros: "The entertainment on the air Canada app had good selection bjt i couldn't vet it to play after selecting tv, I movie, or podcast. There was no in flight movie to choose from either."
Cons: "Air Canada also bumped our flight to 3 hrs earlier."
Cons: "I was at the gate to board and the supervisor Gabriel refused me boarding because I checked in late and he was mad. This was the last flight of the day and left with empty seats on it. I'm very disappointed"
Cons: "Not aconfortable plane"
Pros: "We got home but later then expected."
Cons: "Coming home late. Going thru customs took too long. No one to help with directions at Toronto Airport"
Pros: "International flights were Excellent. Competent personnel, good food, comfortable seating."
Cons: "No complaints."
Pros: "they had many movies. I enjoyed watching two of them."
Cons: "Food was just okay."
Pros: "Return flight -staff were friendly, more spaceous"
Cons: "Arrive flight to Punta cana -staff could be more corteous and friendly"
Pros: "-Direct flight -The boarding by sections. Less of a stampede."
Cons: "When I arrived to my seat, the overhead compartment was full. I had no room for my carry-on. I mentioned it to the flight attendant. He just shrugged and told me to put my carry-on under the seat in front of me. So, #1, I guess some people bring more carry-on and the staff lets them. And #2, I guess it wasn't tight enough in those seats and even though I'm over 6 ft, the staff had to make it tighter. Also, when it was time to land, I thought my seat was all the way up. It was not fully all the way up. I was half asleep, and all of sudden, instead of telling me, one of the flight attendant pushed on the button to raise my seat. I would've appreciated him telling me. The landing was delayed, but that's no ones fault at rouge. I am trying to be as objective as I can. Hopefully, when (and if) someone at Air Canada-Rouge reads this, he or she has enough "pull" at the company to ask the proper authorities:"what kind of company are we? Are we a bargain basement flight company that offers just basic flights for extremely low prices? Or are we an average flight company that offer great value for the money the customer pays?" Because, from my perspective as a customer who is at his second experience with Air Canada-Rouge, the feeling that I get from flying with you guys, is that your company offers basic flights that doesn't offer great value for the money. It's more a company that "plays on both fields", taking what suits them, and leaving what doesn't , regardless of their customer. I understand that a company has to make money. It's normal. But, at a certain point, don't you have to think about your customers? To be honest, the only reason I flew with Air Canada-Rouge is that I was stuck with no other choices but to fly with you (schedule, cost, etc.) And I know for a fact that I'm not the only one. The feeling that I get, is that your company counts on customer like me. Customers that are "stuck", with no other alternatives. If your company wants to offer many "cheap direct flights" like Ryanair and Easyjet offer in Europe, I have 2 suggestions: #1: lower your prices. #2 :your staff should be more customer friendly savvy. Because those 2 companies, that's what they offer. Always remember: you can put a lot of maple syrup on a pile of sh***t, it still won't taste like pancakes. Thank you."
Pros: "The good, each seat has a tv."
Cons: "Waiting over 72 hours and my bag has still not arrived. Both planes were delayed, even with the 2nd flight being delayed I still had to run in order to make it. Being on time is not something Air Canada has figured out."
Pros: "Great attention from staff towards patrons."
Cons: "The late boarding, the delay to liftoff"
Cons: "flight cancellation without overnight accomodation"
Pros: "I was given an upgrade to Business so what not to like. The meal I chose was a strange combination that I would not recommend - lentils with chicken and a few carrots. The crew was great."
Pros: "The flight number was changed, but the new flight got in 45 mins earlier which is always a good thing. Every seat had a screen which kept me entertained."
Cons: "extreme delays and not a lot of updates"
Pros: "My seat on my first leg coming back to New Tork from Tokyo to Toronto."
Cons: "I booked my flight 8 months in advance and pre ordered a vegetarian meal a week before leaving for my trip. They "forgot" one of my meals (breakfast meal) on my return flight home. Hey also gave me a tuna sandwich for my snack, which means they also didn not have a vegetarian sandwich for me in between my dinner and breakfast meals. It was the first time every traveling overseas that they've made an error with my meal plan after flying on multiple airlines. My connection was a nightmare as I had to wait to go through security and customs which took over an hour and then my second flight was delayed. I will never fly through Canada again from the U.S. To another destination country."
Pros: "Landing safely."
Cons: "NO frequent flyer miles after agents said there could be. Hours wasted trying to get miles."
Pros: "Ease of boarding"
Cons: "The two meals served on board were cheap. Very small portions and cheap containers were used."
Pros: "Flight was on schedule"
Cons: "Plane sat on Tarmac for 45 mins Flight attendant was busy chatting personal matters non-stop and was loud, when passengers were totally annoyed from waiting 45 mins to deplane"
Pros: "The crew was very nice"
Cons: "I wanted to see pilots to greet us at the doors! Very important Could not hear announcements clearly We should have option plus"
Pros: "Flights on time and cabin crew pleasant."
Cons: "Where do I begin? I flew round trip SFO to Glasgow via Toronto , a route I do frequently. Usually use British Airways, but tried AC this time. Very unimpressed! Transatlantic portion of journey worse, food and entertainment awful!"
Pros: "The crew was nice and the flight was fairly comfortable."
Cons: "The entertainment selection was terrible. There needs to be a wider selection of movies."
Pros: "Arrival times for principle flight..."
Cons: "Long walks at Toronto..."
Pros: "Business class was very nice, once we finally were somewhat compensated for the airlines errors."
Cons: "Had to settle for flying into Heathrow even though we ultimately needed to get to Brighton and had been originally booked on a Luftanza flight to Gatwick. We needed to get to a conference that began Wednesday 3pm, but didn't get in until midnight that night, so we missed the first day of the meeting. The Air Canada service desk didn't exist, so we had to go through two different managers before we finally got an upgrade to business class. After that, the flight was very enjoyable. Once we got to Heathrow at 9pm, we ended up having to pay 60 pounds per person to get to Brighton, finally arriving at our hotel at midnight. Needless to say, we will be contacting the Air Canada customer service and lodging a very large complaint by email...apparently the only way to contact them."
