My recent Air France flight from Paris to Toronto was a genuinely pleasant long‑haul experience, marked by strong service and thoughtful touches throughout the journey. The boarding process was orderly and efficient, with only a short wait before passengers were invited to step onboard. Everything moved with calm coordination, setting a positive tone right from the start. Once in the air, the inflight crew truly shined. They were warm, friendly, and consistently attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Their professionalism and upbeat energy made the cabin feel welcoming and well cared for. The meals and overall service were very good—well‑timed, nicely presented, and satisfying. Air France’s reputation for quality inflight dining held up, and the crew ensured that drinks, snacks, and small requests were handled promptly. I traveled in a business‑class pod, which offered excellent privacy and comfort. The seat itself was spacious and well‑designed, ideal for both resting and working. The only minor drawback was that the pod felt a bit warm when fully closed, but it wasn’t enough to detract from the overall comfort. Overall, this Air France flight delivered a smooth, friendly, and enjoyable experience from gate to landing. The combination of efficient boarding, exceptional crew service, quality meals, and a comfortable seat made the long journey feel easy and well supported.

I don’t like that an equipment change caused my seat to change from 23A to 44A. The boarding was also delayed. The crew were excellent, however and very attentive. The food was not bad.

Our flight crew were terrific. And they handle a difficult passenger with finesse.

My experience was good overall, the quality of the food really decreased! There used to be a choice between meat and fish now it’s between chicken and pasta! In the choices of entertainment meditation has been added which is very good. Soft chair workout to improve blood circulation and avoid phlebitis should be added.

They lost my baggage and I still have not got it back. Disgrace

Excellent apart from transport to actual plane 10 minutes from the actual gate , walking out in the tarmac in the rain and having to climb stairs to enter while holding luggage.

They wanted to close counter although they did not provide the wheelchair requested which ended by going alone to transit security and lost long time and they did not want to wait .

A couple of minor delays in boarding but very professional and efficient staff.

Flight was more then 3 hour late and I did not get my luggages

I paid extra for a seat with more leg room but they changed the plane and found myself in an ordinary seat. This is expensive at 50€

Plane was late. Too many announcements during the flight. Made me pay that deposit. Uncomfortable seats.

My only issue was the cost of the flight. I paid close to $900, and I’ve never experienced that before. Plus I had to pay for wifi on the flight. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

This was the best Air Canada experience i've ever had! We didn't realize we could switch to an earlier flight and I asked the attendant as they were boarding the 8pm flight. She kindly let me know to make such requests prior to boarding in the future, but she was very understanding that we just came through security with young kids and was able to make the changes for us. When we got on the plane, the lady in the back was super friendly, welcoming, and kind. She was great with our kids and with the other passengers and we just enjoyed her presence so much!.

Bluetooth to use earphones with the onboard entertainment system failed. WiFi worked at least.

It was one and a half hour flight, however it was delayed for one hour, no bus running after getting off the C-Train,

Received an email a few hours before boarding that wifi and seatback entertainment would not be available. There was no explanation for this. We were served 1 x 20 gram granola bar as a snack (not even a full granola bar) which was really embarrassing. The crew was lovely (none of this was their fault) and the flight was successful, but the aircraft itself was falling apart on the inside. Overhead comfort control panels were worn and some were hanging out and non functional, This aircraft needs to be upgraded.

Staff were very friendly. Plane left on time and arrived on time.

The TV screen at my seat was not functioning for the entire duration of the flight. I informed a flight attendant about the issue, and I was told that I would receive a voucher as compensation. However, I never received this voucher afterward. I therefore kindly request to still receive the voucher that was promised to me.

Our original flight was cancelled due to mechanical reasons. This cancellation caused us to miss our connection and we were not able to get another flight for 3 days and then needed to make an extra connection to get there. Air Canada did not rebook our flight for us, it took several hours of talking with staff in the airport and making phone calls to get the flights rebooked. We never received a voucher for our hotel and meals while we were waiting for our next flight and it was only after talking to several staff that we were provided some general information about how we could be reimbursed. We tried entering our ticket information in the website provided, but it did not recognize our flight information. When we asked someone on the phone about this they said we'd need to contact the customer relations department, but that it's not possible to reach them on the phone. I don't understand what company would have a customer relations department that you can't talk to. We spent about $1,000 for hotels and meals for our family while waiting for a flight home and I'm not confident we will ever get reimbursed for this. I understand that mechanical issues can happen to any airline, but this is the 4th time that this has happened to my wife and I on Air Canada and we have only flown Air Canada about 8 times, so this is not a good track record. Also, when we did finally get a flight home (which was also delayed due to mechanical problems), we were told we couldn't bring a standard carry on even though the information on our ticket clearly indicated that we could bring a carry on bag. The staff at the gate were not understanding about this situation.

It was very cold in the beginning; then I asked stewardess to do something about that, and she did something, so for the rest of the flight the temperature was closer to normal. It is typical: by some reason the pilots or whoever is in charge make the cod in the cabin unbearable. The seat is better than on WestJet or Flair, but is is very tight. No leg room.

The longer flight on our leg back to the US was fine. Boarding was great, we had to stay on the runway for a bit after boarding… they kept it cool uncomfortable.

In my first flight with Air Canada we sat in the plane for 4:00pm to 6:30pm. Finally we were asked to get off the plane and we were told the flight was cancelled after 7:00pm There was o clear explanation of what was the problem. I was booked without my permission on a Delta Flight at 7:30pm that was leaving at 8:00pm and I still had to go get my luggage(my final destination was Rome with one stop in Toronto. The luggage claim for Canada was closed so had to return to finally get it on the luggage belt.. Of course I missed the Delta flight and all the next day flights were booked. I also lost what I paid for my stay in Rome because I did nt cancel in time. A complete nightmare.

The flight was delayed 7 hours and we were given 10 euros vouchers. This is ridiculous. The crew was not nice at all, they just did their job with serving food and drinks. Did not even apologize for the delay!!!!

Paid for exit row at the back of the plane. Window seat with lots of leg space. Food was inedible (as usual). Brought my own.

Missed flight. Requested assistance for my father and he did not receive it in Paris.

Business Class was very comfortable and the food and service was top notch.

The crew was very nice. The equipment on the 747 felt old.

As expected. Would have appreciated a 3-day headsup reminder as a reassurance that all is well.

Poor food on flight between Toronto and Stockholm Airport Toronto too crowded

Business Class Configuration was excellent- private and comfortable. Crew and service were excellent. I really appreciate Air Canada cabin pressurization equal to an altitude of 8,000ft. Upon landing, I felt more alert and refreshed than typical for international flights
