The Airbus A330 used on this leg needs to be refurbished. The seats are all damaged, the in-seat power did not work (both 110v outlets and USB outlets) - the IFE screen looked like it was about 10 years old and would not stay unfolded, it just kept flopping down. At one point the flight attendant offered to "fetch some tape" to hold it in place for the flight. I felt very bad for her that she had been put in a position where this was even a reasonable suggestion to have to make.

The flight was delayed twice causing us to arrive in Amsterdam about 5 hours late.

Heathrow Airport refused to let us through security on time and we were not permitted to board the flight.

This was a delta economy flight. Staff were nice but everything else pretty rubbish tbh

Instead of looking up policy, we were denied boarding mid-flight, missed a wedding, and had to spend three days in London instead of our destination. Also, we got bug bites during the flight that turned out to be from bed bugs, which followed us home and caused much frustration for months."

My flight was cancelled and Air cañada said they didn’t even have that flight number or my name in their computer. Does this mean Kayak somehow messed up with the letters/ number sequence? No one would help me at the airport. Lufthansa said it was Air cañadas fault and I had gotten two messages from Kayak, one was at 6 am(I had already called a ride so I was going an hour earlier ) then after 2 hours at airport I get my message from Kayak(Ricky) saying sorry your flight is cancelled? Then, like I say, no one would even put me on standby for another flight as my numbers you gave me did not match. Can you please get me on a flight home? No later than Monday, please? I am out of money

The airport and Luftanza were understaffed. It was slow going.

Flight got canceled and caused a lot of issues. I was stuck in Frankfurt for several hours without any help from Lufthansa personell. They weren’t qualified or couldn’t/ didn’t want to provide help. After my flight was canceled the Lufthansa train was canceled too. After hours a DB employee provided a new train ticket and connection. Lufthansa was not involved in solving the issues they caused.

Lufthansa only have pasta and no options. I don’t like pasta so had a bread roll on a 9 hour flight Fold out entertainment system arm would not hold the screen up as it was loose. Generally the inside of the aircraft was in a poor state of repair. Overall the most unGerman flight

When boarding started, it was like refugees rushing to a life boat. Everyone was rushing to the front. Only one KLM staff standing there saying "... now is this group, yours is next,,,, we will call it out...." While he stopped some travelers, he did allowed some others passed without even checking their ticket. They have all the digital gears, and the screens to show the current boarding sequences, why don't they just use that. For some of us that did not have a excellent hearing, it was hard not trying to get closer to understanding what is going on.

A heads up on filling in an e-ticket prior to flight departure would have been helpful.

Cons: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Cons: "Missing our original connection because Icelandair had to extract fuel, and having to wait an extra 4 hours meant we had a stressful leg to Chicago. The bus we booked had its last trip only 10 minutes after we landed and we just made it - not without some worry."

Also be advised, Keflavik airport (Icelandair's hub) is usually mobbed and was not built to handle the volume it sees during most months."

Cons: "I wear a size 14 pants. I am a bit overweight but not obese yet there was only about 1" of clearance on either side of my hips and the edge of the seat when I sat down. I also had an aisle seat the people going down the aisle were frequently bumping my arm and shoulder. What if someone were larger than me? What if they couldn't fit into the seat? We also hit some turbulence but that might be standard fare for the route."

At Glasgow Airport there was no one to ask about the two flight delays....the board in the departure lounge and the Kayak emails were giving contrary information, with NOONE to ask, the flight was 3 1/2 hours late ! 3 1/2 hours on a 2 hour flight - DISGRACEFUL. and at Iceland, it was sheer bedlam, as all in coming and outgoing flights were delayed - 17 flights were leaving at the same time ! No food on the plane except for purchase with a credit card -for a $1300 seat - really ? AND at boarding there was one girl who insisted on keeping the "premier travelers" separate from the rest, but we all got on the same bus - so it was stupid and a waste of time very disappointed indeed. used to travel annually Boston to Glasgow via Icelandair, - remember why I stopped using this Airline. extremely poor customer service"

check in was great. The chexk in team was one of the best I have come across in the last few years. They made the start of the trip so easy!

Not enough staff at check-in gate. Very slow moving line. Flight crew was great. Everyone of the staff were very nice and helpful.

I wasn’t able to lean my seat back as the passenger behind me asked me not to because his knees were already touching the back of my seat. The web check in was prone to error. For both legs I had to start the web Checkin at least twice. I also got an error page when I tried to print my boarding pass. I do’s not find a way to add my boarding pass to my iphone’s wallet."

While at DUB going to LHR none of the Aer Lingus staff told us we were to go to British Airways terminal until we got to counter. Why couldn’t there be advance notice?Aer Lingus is lame. Cons: "We arrived at Dublin airport two hours before our flight--as instructed--and had to enter an enormous line. Finally, we were instructed to leave the line after almost an hour and a half and were then informed that our tickets had been sold to someone else (we were bumped!). Aer Lingus tried to "normalize" this by explaining that they always "overbook" by 10%. How irresponsible! Instead of arriving in Paris at 4:30 PM (a direct flight) we had to take a flight to London and then to Paris and arrived at 11 PM exhausted (the bus service to Paris had closed down and we had to take a taxi). We will never fly Aer Lingus again. Aer Lingus created the long line to create this very situation!"

Pros: "We were flying from Chicago to Paris and I choose a later connecting flight to make sure there were no issues. We arrived on time and asked to get on the earlier connection if there was room. Initially we were offered the change for a fee (those are the rules) but we were not willing to pay the extra expense and began to leave the counter. We were then offered the change at no charge. We were very thankful as this change/getting to Paris earlier allowed some sleep time to get over our jet lag faster. I flew Aer Lingus a few years before and was pleased so choose them again for this trip and they did not disappoint. I am a fan."
