Flight itself excellent, but delayed so missed connection & got to destination 2 hrs later
Crew was friendly and competent. Food, wine, and entertainment were excellent except the raw tuna on the flight to Split. Recommend against serving that - at least as the only option. Many medical conditions do not allow people to eat raw fish.
Checking in united could not figure out my star alliance gold. Baggage did not get marked priority and didn't receive boarding passes. When got to SFO lounge personal fixed everything Immediately
we did a return flight from Paris CDG to SFO. This trip was much better than the departing flight SFO to CDG. The food was better quality, the crew was nicer, and the interior of the plane seemed cleaner.
I will never fly ANA again. They lost one of my large pieces of checked luggage, the heaviest one with the most valuable items in it, and they said they will not send me an email unless they can't find it, even though the paper they gave me to track the status of my lost luggage requires a code from an email they are supposed to send me so I can do baggage tracing. They claim to be an international airline, but they also insist on calling a Japanese telephone number to confirm where to send the lost baggage if they find it. It is impossible to find an actual contact email address for customer support on their website, and their AI chatbot is unhelpful, directing you to a webpage that says it is for contact information but does not have any actual email addresses or phone numbers listed on it. My seat in economy did not recline at all, even though I was not sitting in an exit row nor the very back row. I had to sit in the fully upright position for over ten hours of international travel. Awful experience overall.
Staff and aircraft were good. However, weather in Houston lee to a ground stop. We were looking at circling behind three other planes until the stop was lifted. Pilot said we didn’t have enough fuel for that. So we flew on to New Orleans as the closest port with immigration and customs staff. Landed there and sat in the plane for two hours plus while staff was sorted. Turned away by ICE. Waited for pilots to be switched out, but after they were approved by ICE. Then had to wait to get a runway because so many planes were ahead of us. Finally took off and flew back to Houston. We all missed our connecting flights because it took too long. Hotel voucher from United was only a link to booking site. Total BS. Finally got a flight out the next day after a night without sleep because all the Houston hotels were booked by rodeo and spring break crowds.
It was amazing. I had several upgraded seats on my flight out. Everything went smooth with no delays.
Flight attendants were friendly & good service, food sucks, seats uncomfortable, not many Asian movies or shows flying from Hong Kong
We had turbulence ever 1/2 hr or so and the captains announcements were SOOOO LOUD
No plug in for phones. I met a few fun passengers and beverage service was very friendly.
the check-in lady at ORD was extremely rude and unprofessional. very disappointed as it was supposed to be a celebration for my wife's birthday and it really put a damper on things. if i wanted to be treated like trash, i would have flown Economy! (as opposed to business class)
For goodness sake, board from the back of the plane to the front and assign overhead space. It would fix everything. Seriously.
Terrible, return flight was cancelled a night before the flight was scheduled to depart and I was notified by an email and an automated message on their phone line. I’ll never book Air Canada again
I booked through Air Canada and Not happy with Air Canada at all.
Good, only discomfort was consistent turbulence through the 3 hour flight. Not sure if in companies control though.
2.5 hour delay sitting in the plane on the tarmac, you tell me how the experience was
The boarding staff was extremely rude and disrespectful to multiple passengers. I would advise to avoid Air Canada at Comox airport unless they take steps to improve their airport staff.
I was randomly deplaned in Canada for staff's fault. Terrible experience and caused me a lot of delays.
The flight was delayed 2 times. The 2nd time with no knowledge of why.
The experience was good. Flight was on time. Liked how they offered to accept carryon baggage for free before as I was checking in online.
Seats are absolutely not comfortable and large enough. There’s a limit and you stepped over it. I understand that there’s a business class, however for the price it costs, it’s just plain stupid for a 50 minute flight.
After boarding, there was a small issue with the aircraft which caused a delay of about 45 minutes. During boarding and while passengers were being seated, the plane was being refueled. There were also a lot of unusual noises during the flight, which was not very reassuring. In addition, there was no WiFi or entertainment available.
They should provide water to passengers who ask for it
Seating was tight. Seats don't recline. Initial flight was cancelled. Lost two days of vacation.
Avianca has transitioned from full service legacy airline to "low cost" but has now became a strange hybrid (minimum leg space, started offering business class in domestic flights again, charges passenger for printing boarding pass, etc.). National and international coverage and destinations are really wide but service is not at its best
Here we have another airline flying to Guatemala but doesn't have a plus or a less, just in the middle. Why? Well, first we don't have even free water Movie selection is poor Seats don't recline in some places Food selection is carb based Forgot to mention, customer service on the web is the worst. Good things; Very reliable on schedule Kind crew
I handed in my suitcase in perfect condition at SAL Airport. And in MIA Airport I received it with one corner broken and the wheels bent.
Not even water is offered on the flight. You cannot lean back on the seats and the seats are so narrow you can’t avoid rubbing elbows with the person next to you.
I couldnt recline the seat. Other than that crew was very attentive and helpful. Thsnk you
I had to go to the boarding counter for them to enter my return flight as it’s not with Avianca. There was a long queue as there were lots of people being called to the counter.
I paid for one piece of checked in luggage, but TAG said it wasn’t paid for, so the charged me a high price for it.
My reservation indicated that I has luggage allowance of 35lbs per person but the airline mentioned that this allowance was only for the rteurn leg of the trip and c harged me $244 additionally for the flight ! This felt like a bait and switch and the complaint is more to do with losing trust in booking through Kayak if the details displayed cannot be confirmed and trusted with the actual airline
It was fine, however they didn’t provide an accurate time for the delayed takeoff. And at the small local airport where we departed, you couldn’t go through security much earlier than the flight. Given the delay, my flight was waiting in the lobby of the airport for a long time. The airlines never told us when we could all travel through security. This was a nuisance because many of us were forced to sit on the floor of the lobby instead of the spacious gate waiting area.
It was a short flight. Seats are small but the flight to Peten is less than an hour.
Allow for not applicable in your survey if there is no food or entertainment on a very short flight of only one hour
Notsure if it was an issue with the airline or Guatemala Int airport, but boarding information, times posted, and boarding to aircraft where contadicting n confusing - relied on gate airline staff n fellow travelers.
The flight was cancelled 2 time as. The airline was stranded me in Guatemala with no solution.
My flight was cancelled 2 times with no solution left stranded in Guatemala.
Boarding was long and messy. No food was offered on the flight. No entertainemnt. Clean flight however.
