We traveled with two young children, and it was not possible for our family to be seated together. No one offered help or assistance to organize seating so we could sit with our kids. In the end, we managed to find two seats in Economy so I could at least sit with one of them, even though I had originally paid for Comfort+. In summary, I had to downgrade my seat just to be able to sit with one of my children, which was very disappointing
Just to drop my already labeled bag it took 50 minutes inline. Completely disappointed with Latam operation at GRU
My biggest complaint is the comfort. I am not tall and there was no legroom. It was very uncomfortable. During my transfer in Sao Paola, the flight was slightly delayed so boarding was confusing because there were no instructions in English.
We didn’t have any entertainment. I tried to go online without success. The airplane was extremely cold and they didn’t have blankets.
It was good, however the airplane was really cold. We received snacks and the crew was friendly.
Not sure why there are so many security checks at this airport. Consistently annoying showing passport over and over, checking carryons at gate all the while trying to make tight connection. Basically it was uncomfortable crowded cabin with meidiocre service

Tough flight with turbulence… I was told by a fellow passenger that it is common. Nonetheless, very stressful. Cordial staff.
We waited for one hour to deboard the plane after landing. That could be better
Not even water is offered on the flight. You cannot lean back on the seats and the seats are so narrow you can’t avoid rubbing elbows with the person next to you.

A few years ago long flights 6 hours or so used to have video screens and they offered ear phones. The food cart used to come and drinks. Now absolutely nothing. Avianca is as bad as Spirit Airlines. Avianca will now be my last choice when booking my next flight.
Charging for WATER on a SIX hour flight in repugnant. Enough said!
Worst in 25 years. A 10 hours flight from Buenos Aires to Costa Rica and no free food! Then the food available for purchase was sold out in 5 minutes. I was travelling with two kids and wasn't ready to keep them happy with chips and cookies for such a long time. Avianca doesn't make sure that minors sit next to an adult so I was forced to pay 65 USD for each seat in a so called premium seat whic is exactly the same as the economy free seats. Never again with Avianca.
Avianca flights to Galapagos and back and well organized and on time.
This is the Spirit of Latino travel. And don’t even get me started on customer service.
I flew with my service dog unfortunately they didn’t allow it to flight on the canine, but ok, the only problem was that when I arrived to Quito it took 1 hour to deliver my dog, they were supposed to deliver it the moment we get off the airplane.
Avianca was organized in boarding and disembarking and all announcements were made in both Spanish and English 👍🏼
