It was a short flight, so of course there was no food provided! There is no other Entertainment in little Aeroplanes like that, than looking out of the window or chat with the Neighbour next to you.

I liked that they turned the lights down so we would see the volcanic flow on the Big Island.

We were very happy. We were scheduled for a later flight, it able to easily switch to an earlier flight with no issue or fees. Staff on the ground and in the air were Aloha friendly.

Boarding was fast and efficient. Best I’ve seen.

The plane was so late, I missed a family dinner.

My flight was changed without notifying me. I used the code for the 830 flight I had scheduled and was surprised when a boarding time of 7:05 was present. Called and told that there were issues and there were no seats left on the 830 flight even though I had a seat assignment. I should have been notified when this change was made.

I was earlier than expected, so they got me on the earlier flight!

I was told the boarding gate was changed and I had to run across the airport to get to the new gate. Then the flight had a delay because it was full and they tried to convince people to change flight. After I board the aircraft, it was further delayed for another 2 hours with some strange excuses (no pull back crew available?)

There were 3 travelers in my party, including myself. I attempted to do the check in via the app and website the day prior to our flight. I kept receiving a message of error and to contact via a one 800 phone number, which I did, with no success. I spoke to a couple different representatives, neither of which could figure out how to deal with the error, and told me to take care of it when we arrived at the airport the next day. Upon arrival I could check in two members of my party but not myself at the kiosk. There was an extremely long line for talking with a counter agent. Many people in line were actually purchasing tickets, combined with others who were trying to check in. We were quite concerned that we might miss our flight. The line was not moving, moved extremely slowly. There was a Hawaiian airline representative floating around trying to encourage people to move to the international line, mainly because there was much confusion about where people were supposed to get into line. When I presented my issue to her, she pretty much ignored me, said thank you and walked away. I was confused as to whether she was going to help me or not. It was very strange. So we got in the long line, got to the counter, and the agent told me my name was incorrectly put into the system as my name is a hyphenated last name. I quickly pulled up the email confirmation where my name was actually correct at purchase. After a very long process, she tells me it was their error, the person I spoke to on the phone the day prior made the mistake. However the entire time we were dealing with this at the counter, we were made to feel like we had made a mistake, and I might not be able to fly. To add insult to injury, I was ignored, and treated as if our business didn’t matter to them. Not a good experience.

Bought tickets 2 1/2 months before flight and could not chose seats. Tried to check in 24 hours prior but got "error, see gate agent". Tried again and showed only one passenger had a seat assignment, other passenger had to see a gate agent for seat assignment. Went to assigned gate and agent said he is not assigned to my flight, wait for next flight's agents. While waiting, I walked around and saw a customer service kiosk. Customer Service Agent, Yoko was very attentive and helpful. She said we had seats assigned to us. Seats were in the last row next to flight attendants. Apparently on flight attendant was not working, flying "dead head". The two flight attendants were talking, and reminiscing throughout the whole flight. Every Hawaiian Airlines worker, except to Yoko, could have been more helpful, thoughtful, and more attentive to senior citizens.

On this flight, other passengers (one family) with disgusting manners, smelly carry on food and generally poor attitudes, made it a captive experience. The crew were the bright spot. An airline can't help that much but, can mitigate the damage and the employees did that. You have very good people."

So I was Lied to. Waited hours as they moved the departure time 4 times! Went through an agonizing security search. Took an hour in a freezing plane to get to Pittsburgh. Missed my flight OF Course and had to pay money for a ticket change and go stand by, barely getting on a connecting flight. I call it the Travel Day From Hell!!!"

Cons: "I had this airline booked several times (4 flights to be exact) and every. single. time. the flight was either cancelled or changed in some way. In the first instance, the second leg was moved three hours ahead, causing the second leg to depart before the first one, so I had to cancel it. In the second, the first leg was moved three hours before the initial departure time, and I had to cancel it due to scheduling issues. The third time I tried to take this airline, the first leg was cancelled completely and in turn my return flight was also cancelled. Each time, they informed be THE NIGHT BEFORE the flight was supposed to leave that it was either cancelled or modified. Had I not booked all four of these flights at once months in advance, I wouldn't have booked it again after the first instance. Do you know how expensive it is to find alternate transportation THE NIGHT BEFORE you are trying to travel? I will never attempt to fly this airline again. They have a lot of work to do to gain the trust of their passengers and they are not doing it right by any means in my opinion."

Southern Airways caused me hours of time spent planning and additional money to find alternate transportation. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND -- I am never flying with this airline again!"

This could easily be resolved by adding info about how to find the counter to the airline website. 2. My colleague's return flight was canceled and she was never notified. 3. When I went to check in for my return flight, I was told that I was not on the boarding list. It took 30 minutes to get me added to the list even though I had my confirmation. When I asked for an explanation the man at the ticket counter shared: "They're crazy [the customer service]. This happens all the time." Complete incompetence."

If United could put dimmable screens on the tablets it would help create an environment conducive to sleep, which is what most passengers want on a redeye flight. Alternatively, privacy screens would cut down on the shared glare. As it was, the flight was a nightmare."

So our money was collected but due to the mess up on seating and loss of our $600.00 epi pen medication we didn't take the flight."

I wanted both seats and paid for both seats. It is theft and should not be allowed. The flight attendant was extremely rude and dismissive. It is a poor practice. You could have at least asked first before rebooking the seat. At least have offered compensation or something. I probably would have said yes Anyway.
