Lufthansa only have pasta and no options. I don’t like pasta so had a bread roll on a 9 hour flight Fold out entertainment system arm would not hold the screen up as it was loose. Generally the inside of the aircraft was in a poor state of repair. Overall the most unGerman flight

WORSE PART: Our daughter couldn't get comfortable to sleep and got fussy, so I took her for a walk which didn't help much. Since it was bedtime 11pm with 0 to little traffic, and to avoid her crying from disturbing everyone I resorted to one of the bathrooms with her. She did fall asleep for about 1 hour until one the FA came literally BANGING on the door. Very rude even after I calmly explained the situation. So sorry for such people with no compassion nor understanding in their hearts."

Once we reached the plane, the crew should have facilitated an orderly boarding through both doors rather than one. This was also a pretty empty flight and other passengers were utilizing their assigned seat as well as a whole other row and calling it theirs just because they set something on one seat. It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

They were understaffed and staff to peer to be stressed and fatigued. The seats were small and cramped and not well padded in the economy section. We are going to be flying on Lufthansa in the spring and will hope that their services are better than what we experienced on Austrian air."

SERIOUSLY!?); a big difference from their partners (i.e. Swiss and Lufthansa). Crew was not present -- not only were they very unfriendly they were no where to be found. TV/video didn't work properly -- kept fast forwarding or changing channels on its own. The crew of course, was not concerned."

My carry-on weighed 8 kg, like is required by the rules. While boarding my flight, the woman at the counter told me my bag had to be checked because there were too many carry-ons on the flight. I asked her that I keep my bag because I had medication in there, and she didn't listen to me at all. She just kept repeating that i have to check my bag, and then took my bag from me and gave it to the baggage crew there. I didn't want to make a huge scene because the flight is only 2 hours and I hoped i Could deal without my medication during that time, but I found it incredibly, incredibly rude and awful to not listen to a passenger."

The other issue was that one gentleman flight attendant had terrible body odor. He mostly smelled like he'd been sweating, but his uniform was in desparate need of laundering ... particularly the pants. I started to mention to it with the friend that I was traveling with, and she knew what I was going to describe before I said it, despite us not talking during the flight (seats were split apart). I'd also mention - although there may not be anything that can be done - but boarding was a nightmare. A large Chicago flight had a boarding line crossing in front of our gate as we were called to get in line (no zones or row numbers). It was quite slow to be standing for 50 minutes and the entire plane settling into all rows at once."

My mother is 67 and physically not able to run or even walk fast. It was worse on the way there. Arrived in Iceland and our Helsinki flight was canceled. We were rebooked to an earlier flight. We had a hard time catching it. Barely made it! We were not told of any such change. Sure, once I made it to my destination, I saw that I received an email while in the Air! I didn't have internet access en route! I won't book with that airline again. We almost didn't make our connection and weren't given any explanation. They should not assume that everyone has Wifi access once they leave their home country. I had to run ahead to let them know that we were indeed present and wanted to get on that flight. My mother struggled to follow me. I thought that it would be a good route to go, given that we make the trip to Finland to see our family. But it turned out not to be the case. Very disappointed."

Only needed one checked bag. Kids even in economy light get a free meal - though none are heated. Cabin is ok. Flight attendants were nice. even asked another passenger to move so I could have a seat for my lo infant even though I hadn’t paid for a seat for him. There was space of the flight so I didn’t feel badly about this. WiFi was affordae and generally reliable. I had a turkey pretzel bread wedge that was tasty."

Overall this wasn’t bad as it was made up in-air. Except one layover was only an hour, And cut it a bit close clearing passport control and traveling with two kids. No time to even see Kaflavik or pick up food or drinks. We ran to the final boarding call after clearing passport control. Also not good was that they don’t offer gate check on strollers. On a departure, you can use your stroller all the way up to the gate, but you get it back with any checked baggage at baggage claim, so you won’t have a stroller for layovers in Keflavík or clearing customs on either end. That was a pain. Strollers came up after all baggage. Not good for traveling families. Kids should be first especially after a 6 hour flight which was probably a second leg."

When I got on however, there was clearly room there. It could have been human error, but still disappointing nonetheless. They said there would be no track so it should safe, which it was, but it was left out in the rain for a minute or two so the soft case was somewhat wet. I don't think any permanent damage occurred."

We were unaware that the bag wasn't included (our bad, of course), but when we pointed out that on Iceland Air check in there was NO place that asked for bags?? They said it was our fault for not "reading the fine print". We can only check in 24 hours in advance, so WHO would think to "manage trip"...36 hours in advance?? Especially in rural Iceland which is where we were 36 hours ahead of time. We would have gladly paid the discounted rate for the bag, but no on was willing to help us with that, so we got soaked for $77 and were told to take our concerns to Iceland air customer service."

Crew,MD,Paramedic took over the situation and mother was recovered THANK GOD for the training your attendants are given or surely it would have been a death on board 3 hours until landing in Boston. I was surely a MIRACLE for me and my family. No words can express our the skills of those on board. I only suggestion is that more IV solution should be on board - the bottle was small - but certainly aided in her recovery. THANK YOU THANK YOU ICELAND AIR"

Pros: "I'm a European tour and booked a flight from Reykjavik to Amsterdam, I received an email to make an offer to upgrade and I quickly jumped at the chance. I received an email 2 days prior to departure that my offer was excepted and I would be upgraded to economy comfort. Economy comfort is between First Classe and economy and the cool thing about it is that you get treated as if he had a first class ticket. I had access to the lounge which was amazing, the spread out was wonderful he sat in the choices plentiful. Reykjavik is a small airport therefore it's a busy airport, what do you economy comfort I was able to use the saga class lane and I checked in less than five minutes whereas the regular lane was backed up. I was able to board along with first-class passengers and the lane was short which I love. Overall it was a great experience and Icelandair will make you a trip even better if you fly with them first class or economy comfort. It's hard to believe that there are so few seats at each gate and with several very large flights leaving from one small terminal and all within a few hours of each other it was extremely crowded and very hard to get to any amenities. We had to sit on the Floor!!! Then the boarding was a joke. The line was long and slow and we had to get on a bus and go out to the plane which was very awkward and slow. The bus was packed and very uncomfortable and the smell of diesel was nauseating. It seems like if they are going to accommodate so many large international flights that they would figure out that their infrastructure really needs some upgrades. Can't imagine what it would have been like if the weather had been poor which of course it often is in Iceland! Also, going to Europe, we received a couple of meals and on this flight no food was served. The food they did offer was over priced."
Cons: "Our seats were reassigned at the last minute (upon boarding) to seats that couldn't recline at all. The people in front of us could recline their seats fully, giving us no room whatsoever to move. We had no room to even rest our heads on the table or cross our legs. It was very uncomfortable. Had I known the seating was so uncomfortable, I would not have flown this airline. These were not the seats we selected earlier, so we were taken by surprise at being given such terrible seats and offered no options. I will not fly this airline again."
Cons: "To whom it may concern, In the last week I have flown Iceland Air three times. In fact had it been up to me, the first time would have been the last. But due to family traveling, our plans were set. So listed below is the detailed description of my horrible travels with your airline as well as all the added expenses it cost me. Due to all of the misshaps with Iceland air I have had in the last couple weeks, I made sure on my returning flight to check in and pick the seats for myself and the family member I was traveling with for my returning flight from Gatwick to Iceland. However when we got the gate, my ticket dinged because they had moved my seat from next to my family to the back of the plane, because they over booked the flight. This has been a disaster only because of this airline. Next time I plan on using British airways, the flight I took with them was amazing and effortless on my part!"

Cons: "Not enough space for legs in the economy class. The chair back support was not working correctly ( couldn't be blocked in the reclined position). Very uncomfortable chairs overall. No food included in the price of a ticket for such long flight? Poorly organized and managed departure process. The passenger next to me was sick looking. He was coughing loudly and frequently all the time during that flight. For more then 7h of the flight no flight attendant demonstrated ANY interest or offered any help. Furthermore when his female companion (wife?) asked just for cup of water so he could get his meds at the beginning of the flight they were told to wait for the regular service to start (what took app 30min). So overall my impression of the Icelandair service is no more then just O'k."

Cons: "too many flights landed at KEF at one time. the iceland customs could not handle all the flights at one time. it seems like the idea/plan to make iceland a primary stopover location was done without determining how many flights could descend on the terminal at one time. i was in a line that was almost all the way down the terminal. we truly were processed quickly - but it gave many around us a lot of stress over thinking they would miss their connecting flights. since i had done this before and the exact same thing happened (too many to process in too short a period of time) i reassured the people around us that icelandair holds the connecting flights until all people were processed. it gives a bad look to iceland and icelandair and i am sure could be remedied by changing some arrival/departure times. again, the idea of having iceland be a primary stopover to put them 'on the map' and glean the revenue from the potential travel is excellent, great marketing strategy - but is iceland air shooting them in the foot if they have implemented this plan without the infrastructure - please pass along to iceland- a country i really loved when i visited before this marketing plan!"
Pros: "We normally really like flying Icelandair and enjoy the ability to have a stopover in Iceland. The crew is always very nice and this flight was no exception."
Cons: "The plane, or at least our section of it, was very warm. We were near the doors between Business Class and Economy, so we were expecting it to be even a little cold, but it was so warm that I was in a tank top the entire flight. The boarding process in Reykjavik was very odd, even for them. There was just a door in the wall under our gate # and without warning it was opened and everyone just got up and went through it. There was no announcement. Apparently the checkin desk was upstairs. We then waited 20 minutes in line, before they finally started boarding us int he order we were queued - again, no announcement."
Cons: "It took three attempts to land. First Manchester, then Liverpool and finally (after declaring a fuel emergency) back at Manchester. Everyone knew a storm was brewing so why didn't the plane have extra fuel on board in case of a diversion?"
Pros: "I liked the in flight movie selection."
Cons: "There were so many things wrong with our flight from Gatwick to NYC. The check in staff were rude and homophobic at check in, forcing my partner and I to separate for check in while we watched heterosexual partners check in together freely. The disabled toilet alarm broke as we descended into NYC and we listened to end-of-the-world death sirens as we were landing. It was not communicates that food was a microtransaction on flight and was so overpriced so we went nearly 13 hours without food because the flights were also delayed on the tarmac. The de-icing tow truck in Iceland was broken down so we were delayed two hours on the layover. On return, both Icelandair gates opened late. During the layover we were kettled in hot container units before 20 min before being bussed to the plane and held for 15 minutes. Then, the icing on the cake was landing back at Gatwick and seeing my brand new luggage I bought on the trip damaged with thr back pocked ripped out along the bottom seam. I will never again ride with these rude, price-gouging, apathetic amateurs."

Cons: "I understand that businesses must expand, and that is no different with the Keflavik airport. In routing passengers through the airport, there were listings for Canada/UK, and US/All Passengers. It was unclear whether this signage was meant for "flights" or "passport." It was actually for "flights" meaning, if you are taking a flight to Canada, use this line; for US flights, use that line. However, many people, myself included, mistakenly assumed that the signage was meant for passports, in other words, US passport holders use this line; Canada/UK passport holders, use that line."

Cons: "They cancelled this ticket. I was unable to make a flight on the first ticket due to a business partner being ill (blood pressure issues). I then purchased a premium economy comfort ticket for the next day, also on IcelandAir, which was TWICE the cost of my original deal yet they would not honor my ticket. It really was quite disgusting and handled very badly. There was a medical situation that cost me far more than and then they would not honor my ticket to Manchester, so I had to fly WOWair to Bristol UK instead."

Cons: "Tiny seats (average sized male here - trust - they are tiny) All food is charged (not a single piece of free food was offered; $8/sandwich) Lost luggage - I've never dealt with airline personnel (in person & over phone) that displayed such a level of apathy. Compensation ceiling: $99. They apologized about the incident as if they were sorry that it was raining that day - not losing 2 pieces of luggage and not having any means to track them. Check-in personnel: They only gave me a single luggage tag for 3 pieces of luggage - they should have given me 3. Would have made tracing lost luggage easier. Employee @ IAD told me that if I didn't show up at the boarding gate 40 minutes prior to boarding that they would remove my luggage from airplane and that I could risk losing flight (wtf?). Icelandair is one of the worst airlines I have ever flown. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They may offer rates 20% cheaper than other major carriers, but that discount accompanies a steep price. It's an airline run by inexperienced, lackluster, apathetic staff who, frankly, have no business operating an airline. If your options are flying with a major carrier vs Icelandair - and the price difference is a few hundred $: pay the extra money; you'll be glad you did. Icelandair's prices are not low enough to justify all the discomforts and liabilities which accompany them. Look elsewhere. Keep this in mind: I'm a seasoned flyer. This airlines barely ranks one notch up from Ryanair."

The boarding onto the plane was disorderly and no announcements were made to provide directions. If you fly to Europe from USA, avoid Reykjavik. Iceland Air charges extra for snacks, headphones, and seat assignments. Even after buying "discount" tickets, the extra charges boost the cost to the same as all the other airlines. The plane only had two bathrooms on-board so there was a line during the entire six hour flight."

The most dissappointing and quite frankly ridiculous part was that after being on hold for 2 hours Iceland air refused to upgrade our seats to first class after such a huge inconvenience. We boarded the plane and the entire first class portion of the flight empty!! This makes zero sense to me. Iceland air should seriously reconsider their upgrade policies. They would rather have first class be empty than make their customers happy! We were even willing to pay extra."
Cons: "Dear Seema, We spoke just now. I had booked a flight from Reykjavik to Stockholm (via Copenhagen) through Kayak.com for 2 passengers, Tushar Kamat (myself) & Priyanka Kamat (my wife). I had indicated a travel date of 6th Oct during my booking, but for some strange reason,, the ticket got issued for 4th Sep (yesterday). My credit card also got charged for the full amount and I received an e-ticket yesterday. Later during the day yesterday, I received a mail from Flight Network (which I guess is the travel portal used by Kayak.com) stating that the 1st leg of the flight (Reykjavik to Copenhagen) on 4th Sep got cancelled. The mail from Flight Network is appended in the mail below. Firstly, my travel date was never supposed to be 4th Sep, and it was always supposed to be 6th Oct, since I am still in India and have not even started my Scandinavia trip. Secondly, since the 1st leg of the flight was cancelled by the airline, the 2nd leg made no sense for me anyways, since my end destination was always supposed to be Stockholm, and not Copenhagen. Since the cancellation has occurred at SAS end (and even the incorrect booking date seems to be an error not at my end), I would request you to organise for a full refund of the Reykjavik to Stockholm flight fare for me & my wife to me. This amount was charged to my credit card by Kayak.com so would appreciate it if you could either get the full amount refunded to my credit card, or organise for the amount to get transferred online to my bank account. Cons: "When we arrived at Keflavik airport the terminal was immensely crowded with several flights due to leave the US at once. It was overcrowded to the point of being uncomfortable and there was a 30min+ wait to buy food from the only shop. As a result we did not have time to grab a bite to eat between flights. My partner was subjected to additional TSA checks which I am aware is a random check and a nescessity but due to the amount of flights departing for the US this took an extra hour, and delayed our flight. I'm thankful that Iceland Air didn't leave without us but it was an immensely stressful experience that I don't wish to go through again."
Pros: "Nothing to like except that we finally got here."
Cons: "Late departure. Not enough fuel in plane so had to refuel in Minneapolis. Even with headwinds, there should have been enough fuel put into the plane to complete the trip. They stopped in at an airport that was experiencing thunderstorms, and while we were refueling, our plan was struck by lightening and then had to to be examined for damage before continuing on. We were on the ground, in the plane, for a total of 4 hours, waiting. Finally were advised that the crew had "timed out" and could not fly any more that day, so we spent the night and all the next day sleeping on the floor in the airport. Icelandair was not at all prepared for such a situation. Situation was somewhat chaotic with incomplete and inaccurate information given to passengers. Very poor communication on the part of Icelandair, or whoever they contract this function to. We expected to be able to leave the airport the next morning, but were told that the flight would not leave until 5 p.m. Then they changed the time to 8:20 p.m. but didn't announce that. Then that flight delayed until 9:00 p.m. We finally got off the ground a little after 10:00 p.m. On top of all this, many passengers' entertainment systems did not work, and this made for a very long and frustrating flight. Not good, Icelandair."
Cons: "Our plane was diverted to refuel - after an hour and a half of increasingly cryptic and contradictory communications while sitting on the ground, we were removed from the plane and given cots to sleep on the airport floor. No staff present to provide information, no communication by email, noone available by phone, no updates on the website, vague rumors from another airline's staff of a "possible flight" the following evening.....no idea how/when we'd get back to Denver. We got a car and started driving...huge vote of no confidence in Iceland Air, its equipment and staff."

Cons: "The boarding process was difficult, as four flights to the U.S. were leaving at the same time and it was almost impossible to get to the gate because of the thick wall of people and no aisles. We were then put on a bus to the plane, but the bus didn't leave for over 30 minutes, well after the takeoff time, and no explanation was given. The temperature on the plane was extremely uncomfortable. Most of the time, it was very hot, and I am accustomed to flights being on the cool side and requesting a blanket. But someone must have been adjusting the temperature, because it would get cold for a short period of time, and then very hot again. It was difficult to sleep because of the temperature. It would have been nice to have some small snacks like pretzels offered with the drinks, and a larger selection of food available."

Cons: "Unbeknownst to either of us the Air Canada Rouge is a low cost carrier international flight. It didn't have a player in the seat, or even old school TV's. You had to use your own device on their WiFi which was SLOW and the sound went out. The seats are small with very little leg room. I'm 5'1 (156cm) and my legs almost touched the seat in front of me. Also the airport was the biggest hinderance of getting to the gate and the airplane. After customs, to get to our gate we were told to wait in another line while they went through nearly every passenger again... And checked bags. Since it was taking so long they would let some go through without checking them. It was strange to say the least. We eventually left the gate late but made up for it in the air."

Cons: "For business class the accommodation was appalling. The seat would not even recline more than a couple of inches, let alone lay flat which is what one is paying for. The touch screen entertainment did not work. The flight arrived too late to make connections - again. The boarding agent at the gate in Los Angeles was one of the rudest and most arrogant men I have ever encountered. I complained to the plane's Captain about him, as he was going through. All the business class passengers around me were commenting on it. One was even filming his egregious behaviour for Facebook. He alone was enough to put one off Air Canada ."

When we got on the plane, the sun was shining through the window & floating in the air was a mind-boggling amount of dust, feathers, etc.. flying all around... like the air was completely FILLED with them.. you couldn't get a breath of oxygen. This irritated my respiratory system immensely. They also had children helping out the flight attendants which was cute, until the one girl who had just served water to the entire plane broke out into an awful fever. They were putting ice packs on her head, giving her meds, & eventually she had to get carried through the airport. This was 5 minutes after serving water to an entire plane of passengers. I ended up getting extremely sick & missed almost a week of work. Not sure if this was the cause, but it makes sense. I will make sure 100% to never fly air canada rouge again. For $400 a ticket... doesn't make sense to experience this."
Cons: "With basically all my flights on Air Canada, there were significant delays. The delays on this flight caused me to almost miss my connection. I had to run full speed to make it to the next flight, and the attendants on this flight were very terse announcing as we were landing "Do not ask us about your connections; we have no information. Do not ask us about your luggage; we have no information" With other airlines in the past, if I have had a flight delayed by an hour, the attendants have announced where I should be headed for my connection, or have called ahead to the connecting flight (if within the same airline" and asked them to wait for us. I didn't feel that AC did anything to help make up for the fact that my flights were so late. Almost ally other AC flights on this trip we're also delayed."

I was stuck in the seat immediately in front of the stinky bathroom in a seat that didn't recline, had no hdmi charging port and was pretty much continuously crowded by bathroom-goers. In fact, so many bathroom goers grabbed the seat in front of me that they touched my movie screen about 7-8 times, causing the menu to pop up and interrupt the movie. Otherwise, the food was gross and one of the flight attendants was very grumpy."

Cons: "My flight from NYC to Montreal was delayed 4 hours due to a storm that had passed earlier in the day. That was understandable, however we then sat on the tarmac at the gate for an additional hour because Air Canada's entire computer system suddenly crashed. We finally got to the runway and in the middle of takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and aborted the takeoff because he did not reach high enough speed. It was very scary. I was supposed to land in Montreal at 10:20 pm but arrived there at 2:30 am the next morning."
Cons: "I couldn't board the plane due to new documentation requirements for travelers transiting in Canada. I understand the rules of the internet fare (no returns, exchanges or cancellations) but the customer service was awful. They didn't offer me any other alternative but to loose full value of the ticket ($1700). Nobody (kayak, vayama, air canada or brussel airlines) gave me any kind of information about those new requirements and I ended up cancelling the whole trip as I couldn't find any other flight to get to Europe. Really upsetting...."

Cons: "My traveling partner - Giovanni Medina - was given ill properly prepared food. He ended up getting food poisoning. We had a connecting flight in Montreal to Orlando (our final destination and home), he was suffering during the 2 hour lay over with an ill stomach and then had to suffer 3 more hours on a flight home. He was stopped from being able to go to the bathroom before takeoff because they needed him seated, but he immediately started vomiting right before we took off. He then spent the rest of the ride sick, they allowed him to move to the back in order to use the bathroom rather than the vomit bags, but he was not comfortable at all. He spent the rest of the night after landing in the bathroom continuing to vomit. We chose this airline because of the rave reviews of the food, entertainment, and hospitality of the crew. The latter two were certainly true. We definitely wanted to make sure that you knew of situation because this was a seriously uncomfortable situation for him and we would not want this to happen to anyone else. He had the chicken meal and the meat pastry on the flight."

It is a shame. Although we recieved 200 dollar compensation check it does not cover damage has been done for me at this trip because of my late arrival to a very important business meeting. It was the Gulag! I can't imagine it being worse for them. On a short domestic flight, it may be tolerable, but for a long international flight across the pond, it was a nightmare! Also, please stop serving those hot pockets as a snack and please stop charging for potato chips and snacks unless you plan to serve a substantial meal! A 400 calorie meal is not going to keep anyone satisfied for 10 hours!"
Cons: "Flight out of Newark delayed so we were going to miss the connection. We were rebooked to fly via London but we lost 6 hours in Rome. Air Canada attendant at Newark said the flight was always delayed and passengers regularly needed to be rebooked. You should recommend air Canada cancels selling this itinerary or bringing the Newark flight forward to de risk any delays"

Cons: "Checkin staff at airport was not friendly. Airline cannot allocate seats together even though booking was done months in advance. seriously!!!"

Cons: "I was very unhappy that I could not sit with my husband both ways when we booked the flight together. And we got middle seats which we hate and requested aisle seats. We were also initially placed extremely far away and I was able to change seats to at least being closer, but not together. There was a couple that was throwing a fit that they weren't sitting together in my husband's aisle. The water they provided came from a pitcher and not a bottle and it tasted nasty. I did ask for hot tea on one of the flights and was told they had nothing hot. My tray table was dirty. Sticky stuff on the buckle of the seatbelt. Used plastic cup by my seat when boarding."
Cons: "When boarding the plane, they called the zones too quickly. Then there was an Air Canada representative giving bad directions to the passengers as to where to get in line. Then she got annoyed and was disrespectful to the passengers as they were trying to get in line. She needed to give better directions or change the way they called the zones. Air Canada knew the flight to Montreal was delayed when we left London. They changed our reservation to Toronto to a flight that we still couldn't connect with because of timing. It would have been easier if they were more realistic with the timing of the flight and booked us on a later flight to Toronto."

Cons: "The temperature in the cabin was Frigid, even with blanket, 2 pairs of socks my coat & scarf I was freezing!"
Pros: "The airline personnel in Montreal was accommodating when several of us missed our connecting flights, automatically providing a hotel room and food vouchers for each of us."
Cons: "We were delayed an hour because of a miscommunication with the refueling truck in Montreal before the flight came to Bradley. Then, we sat almost another hour on the tarmac at Bradley Airport because the flight plan was not approved. This caused me and several travelers (out of a small flight of approx. 20 people) to miss our connections in Montreal. Miscommunication seems to be normal for AirCanada, at least in Montreal (almost missed my connection on the way home, too). I will not fly again with this airline in the foreseeable future."
Pros: "We missed our connecting flight due to a delay and we were automatically rebooked on the next fight. On an US airline, we would have o stand in line to get that done. We traveled on Rouge, from Venice to Montreal, and it was better than the reviews I had prior. There was an outlet to charge electronic devices and the app was easy to use."
Cons: "The delay was due to getting baggage loaded. 1.5 hours. There is an issue there."
Cons: "Worst flight ever. Had a technical difficulties 3 times in a row. Had to be cancelled and put on the next day and again same thing over and over. So missed all my connections. Cut short my vacation. Will never flight air Canada again."

Cons: "Horrible smelly crampy cloth seats, awful food, they don't offer complementary wine and beer for international flights like other carriers, no tvs in the headrest. The flight crew works slower then I have ever observed in my over 200 flights. Took them 1hr 40min to serve what they called "dinner", Delta and others knocks it out in 30!!! And don't get thirsty, You'll die of dehydration before you get a drop of water. They treat ice like its gold. 2 cubes for each drink. If u ask for more u get one more cube. Lol. It was just a horrible experience! I will never fly Air Canada again."

Cons: "My sister is still stuck in Paria trying to get to Casablanca because Qir Canada changed her ticket to Royal Air Maroc in the system but failed to pay the ticket!! She's been traveling from Seattle to Casablanca for three days and she's still not here yet! And I'm going into labor very soon!!"

Cons: "They charged us 25 dollars for a carry on bag which was unfair. They didn't charge anyone else. When I came back I was not charged. I would like a refund. The people were very rude! I take that bag on trips weekly. I should have not been charged."

Cons: "Didn't give us US customs forms, had to ask, only got one, had to ask again, and then rushed to fill them out and THEN customs threw them out and we had to do everything on the computer. I would think that the crew would be familiar with this process at their home airport and not waste our time. Also, no one could tell us if we would have to go through security again and if we could buy any liquids in Paris duty free to bring home due to the liquid rule and going through security. Just a wildly uninformed airline (asked our crew and other AC officials) they couldn't answer a few simple questions."

Cons: "Every person employed by United is either overworked until the point of jadedness is issued with their first paycheck, or they get paid in Monopoly money. There were flight delays, and really I was good with that, but when I approached a staff member, he literally said “what do you want?!” Before I even opened my mouth. The phone lines are operated by someone in a foreign country. And after the flight caused me an overnight layover, they offer you a measly discount voucher for a place to stay. I can only hope that someone out there is getting better treatment than the poor people I saw on this flight, or at any united desk I attempted to get help from."

Pros: "Very pleasant attentive crew and ground staff. An aborted takeoff on tarmac meant a return to the departure gate and the plane taken to maintenance. The ground staff were superb in dealing with a full plane load of passengers many of whom had onward connections. This meant we had to stay overnight and fly first thing the next morning. Full marks to United for dealing with a potentially dangerous situation and then assisting everyone back in the terminal."
Pros: "Flight was smooth and shorter than I thought."
Cons: "United's flight was delayed by 6 hours, couldn't make the connecting flight from Washington DC to Denver so they routed me to san francisco, spend the night at the airport there and then travel to Denver in the morning. Fortunately there was a very helpful crew in Schiphol that was able to get us on a flight with american airlines to philadelphia and then on to Denver."

Cons: "Improper handling of situation. There was flight scheduled later, but CS agent kept jerking us around. By the time I reached the United counter, the next flight was full. My total flight time was 36 hours. I still can’t believe that the pilot was missing. Worse yet, the agent at the gate could have made things much easier instead of telling everyone that a pilot was on his way to the airport."

Cons: "— A couple who had two middle seats apart disrupted our whole boarding by trying to persuade everyone around us to give up an aisle or window seat so they could sit together. I felt pressured to give in which made me mad. I wondered if they paid for Basic Economy and then still got their way on seats. — WiFi is just crazy expensive at $32. Even as a business traveler I felt guilty buying it. I wish I had seen pricing before the flight and/or understood if I could’ve gotten a discount for purchasing in advance. — Didn’t hav the snack I wanted...it’s a long 6 hour flight — I wish there were more food options."
Pros: "Took the red eye from San Francisco to Nashville at the end of a long trip to Cali for a family reunion. I've never flown United before and it was okay. I wasn't able to sleep as I'd hoped as I had a hard time getting comfortable due to the size of my row mate beside me and I was in the middle."

And then their response is “everything is booked so the best we can do is get you on another flight 12 hours after you land? Ah f you. Missing my niece’s birthday and the whole reason for the trip. United is garbage. The irony, I was only flying United to use an expiring voucher from the last time they stranded me for a day. Never again United. You will have to drag me kicking and screaming onto another United flight. Which they may do..."

That was unprofessional, disrepectful, and bottom line rudeness."

Pros: "The pilot apologized profusely for our delayed departure, and offered us free in-flight TV. He made up time, and we arrived only 30 minutes late (take-off was delayed over an hour)."
Pros: "I missed my flight with Alligent due to an overturned tractor trailer and they couldn't do anything to help me (I'll never fly with them again) and I had to book a last minute flight with United, very easy just pricy due to last minute. Thanks!"

Cons: "My flight was cancelled, they wouldn't route me through another airport, nor would they offer me any compensation for the inconvenience and expense of having to be stranded another night.This is why I normally fly Alaska, instead of United. United needs to step up their customer service. I wasn't even given a seat. They said I had to actually go to the airport in order to get a seat. They could've upgraded me, or put me on a direct flight, but no, they didn't."

LISTEN UP AIRPORTS! the only people overnighting in your airports are people have to wait to a flight in the AM. It's not like we want to live there - we're tryig to ger somewhere else. Even the damn Club lounges close. No 24 hour clubs like at other major airports."
