We had to de-ice the plane in Indy prior to takeoff. This delayed the flight and jeopardized my connecting flight in Atlanta. The crew was fantastic in keeping me updated and I made my co exiting flight.
Check-in was good, except that the window that was open after putting in passport information. That did not give you a button to move to the next step. There was an X to close it, but my get was it would close the entire app. Flight meal - can’t we get a wrap rather than biscuits or chips? Flight Refreshment - water should be standard. We all need hydration during flight.
Delta is my go-to for years on the SEA-AMS run. They are generally always on time and often come in early on the flight back. Seems like the food quality has gone down a bit over the last two years, and I was disappointed in both meals on this flight, but I will continue to book Delta every time on this route.
Took forever for checked bags to get to baggage claims
Gate agent mumbled announcements regarding boarding. This task should be assigned to someone with clear diction. Really hard to understand. We flew first class, and there was not anything first-class about it except the seats. Cheap snacks offered, nothing resembling food, and one pass-through for drink requests on an almost 2 hour flight. Flight attendants seemed tired in this early afternoon. First-class service has really gone downhill with Delta. Hardly worth the extra expense anymore.
Overall good flight. Only downside is that the passenger next to me took up part of my seat in addition to hers, which was slightly uncomfortable but not a big deal.

As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."
Cons: "For the third Delta flight in a row (all First Class) the crew did not make any effort to keep economy class cuctomers form storing bags in the First Class overhead or using the only First Class laveratory during flight. This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

As people seem to be so self-centered anymore, the attendants should have announced that people were not to leave until all passengers with connecting flights had left the plane. Very sad that people can't use common courtesy all by themselves, but as they can't, it should have been enforced by the team on the plane."

Flight was efficient, left and arrived early. Good selection of entertainment, reasonable amount of seating space even though the flight was full. Only blemish was at check in, where the agent demanded to see our proof of vaccination in physical form (my wife didn't have hers). This was shocking because we had uploaded the documents for the round trip through the AC website, and received confirmation from AC. Eventually she settled for an ArriveCan receipt. Thankfully I had completed that process. Why do we need to submit proof of vaccination forms to AC if the agents are not able to use that information?
Crowded and uncomfortable. Chaos with overhead bin space. Staff are pleasant.
Would have been nice to have at least a snack or something on board.

This was an excellent flight with very few people on board. Only issue was the 30 minute departure delay and this was communicated well so we weren't left hanging. Traveler communications in Cancun airport aren't the best, but that isn't AC's fault.
