Cons: "Lots of different thin: boarding lines weren’t clear, seats are not that comfortable, food was fine but not great and I would give a very good to crew"

Cons: "It is too crammed on this type of plane. Having three columns of three seats, four seats, and three seats is a bit too much. It seemed this type of plane is going for quantity instead of quality."

Cons: "Flight was 3 hours late. Crew was disorganized & inefficient. Announcements were repetive & not helpful. Waited 2-1/2 hours on plane before departure because crew was terribly ineffective boarding passengers that were re-routed from another flight. No weather or mechanical issues, bad decisions."

Cons: "While the flight crew was great, the rest of the employees on the Toronto side were awful. Our plane was delayed from Dublin so most of the plane missed their connecting flight. Once off the plane they only had 2 people working rebooking and 2 working bag issues even though there was plenty employees around. After an incredibly long line, the gate agent was very rude. He barely acknowledged me, wouldn't look at me and just shoved my new ticket at me and said next. I tried to talk to another while waiting an extra 4hrs for my next flight and all she did was shove a business card with numbers and said if I had a problem to call one of those numbers and then rolled her eyes and started talking to her friends again. I saw another couple from my flight being passed around and getting rude treatment as well. Another I talked to said they will never fly Air Canada again. I know it wasn't their fault our flight was late but a little compassion and good customer service goes a long way. I had to spend $15 on dinner that I wouldn't if I had made my flight but they gave another couple from my flight $10 vouchers for food. So inconsistent! I also paid $100 extra on my ticket to sit closer to the front of the plane since I knew I had a short layover (which didn't make a difference) but they just gave the same seat to the girl next to me for the same reason. When I asked for a refund on the seat cost they just blew me off. To sum it up, the flight crew was great and very friendly but all the ground employees were awful and really need to improve on their customer service skills."

Cons: "Plane employees did not explain what the declaration card was meant to serve. I left mine on the plane by mistake, partly due to complete ignorance of its purpose. Please either put the purpose on the card or have your flight staff explain what passengers will need the card for, once they get to the next inspection point. Don 't take this for granted!! The long walk from the point of deplaning to the center of Pearson Airport was unexpected."

Pros: "The entertainment at my assigned seat was not working so they offered me a change in seat prior to boarding, was a better seat with more leg room, and I could listen to music to try to sleep the airline offered $10 to spend for food in airport, that was nice. the crew on the plane were great."
Cons: "the flight had an extended delay >3 hours, they did their best I suppose to keep people updated. I had flown from Barcelona and already had a 4 hour layover so I was extremely tired."

Cons: "Flight was delayed for 1 & a half hours. no explanation. Was an hour flight to Columbus but we had to wait 45 minutes for our checked baggage because Air Canada didn't have enough people on staff. Our wait for baggage was almost as long as our flight. Everyone was really mad not just us."

Cons: "Delay caused us to almost miss our flight to Dublin. Rude staff, and overall disappointing. I will not be flying on Air Canada again."

Pros: "A couple of flight attendants were really really nice. I am diabetic and ran into a bit of a problem, one was so sweet and caring about it and helped me out. I really felt safe with her."
Cons: "Regarding the same diabetic issue, another flight attendant could have cared less that I was in a bit of trouble. I needed to lay down in the flight attendant seats due to my issue and i heard two of the girls complaining about it."

Pros: "Nothing fantastic but it was a good flight even after being delayed a while. Our plane had something wrong so they took us off the plane and we had to wait until they found a new plane for us, thank goodness we were in Canada at the hub where there must've been extra planes."
Cons: "I could not understand one word the stewardess said. I'm not sure if it was an accent thing or a speak too fast too close to the microphone thing but had it been an important message I wouldn't have made it. The music on the entertainment"

Cons: "Due to Air Canada's I missed my flight to Amsterdam. I missed out on a day of sightseeing and having fun and Amsterdam instead I spent a day in Toronto. I was able to get on a flight 24 hours later. This missing connection happens routinely with Air Canada, for some reason they have not managed to fix the error."

Cons: "Put on stand-by because flight oversold. No notice. Finally got on at the last moment. Our bags did not arrive."

Cons: "We had a terrible time trying to get in contact with Air Canada. We spent literally hours on hold and multiple times we hung up without any answer. Customer service needs to drastically improve."

Pros: "Flight was only half full. It was a red eye from Halifax to London, so there were several rows with no one in it. That allowed me to move to a row that I could lay down in. Flight attendants were pleasant. Everything was included (ie, food, free checked bags, earphones for TV) Great value for money."
Cons: "I watched WTF on the in seat entertainment system but it was not formatted for that screen, it was too narrow and the sides were cut off so part of the action was not on screen. Pretty minor issue."

Cons: "I understand that it is the duty of the traveller to figure out the legalities but a little heads up about visa requirements would be nice. I did know I needed a document to transit Canada but their website is absolutely not straight forward in telling you what you need to do. I read there was an exempt till September 2016 and since I was flying before it, I thought I would be fine. While I understand it was my fault for not doing my research, it's the way the airline company handled the situation that incredibly frustrated me. There is no empathy or willingness to help a traveler about to embark on their journey, when they are told they can't board. I didn't know you needed a visa just to transit!! It's just stone cold responses and haughtiness. It's a new rule, cut me some slack! They just pushed me off to a partner airline and I was asked to pay 1500$ for a one way flight. I m getting very frustrated with airlines of late! Customer service sucks. There is no genuine empathy for a person in a bind. It's all about making money and getting you out of the line. I'm just disappointed."

The annoying part was that we were boarded and then were informed there was a maintenance issue, then there was a fire alarm so we ended up sitting in our seats for an hour before the flight finally took off and it was already a 6.5 hour flight so being stuck on there longer was not ideal"

Pros: "Great flight. New and comfortable plane with lots of room. Food was good. Reasonable entertainment was provided with lately released movies. Staff was friendly and accommodating."
Cons: "Internet not free on board. For the price of the ticket on an international flight, internet should be included for free. Also no newspaper available on board."

Cons: "We were delayed because the plane was late from Toronto, and were told this when we all began to check in up front. When the staff finally did come to the desk at the gate, they still maintained (and rather rudely to some of the other passengers) that the plane would be there by 7-- turns out the plane got there about 7:30, rebooking flights that were going to be missed was like pulling teeth for some of the passengers, and we took off about 8 (1 hr 40 mins late)."

Cons: "They wouldn't offer me any change of the flight unless I paid more than double what I originally paid for the airfare. I just lost an entire airfare because they're change fee's are too much, and they are also not allowing me to change the flight to cheaper prices that I've found available on both Kayak and Air Canada. I will never fly Air Canada again."

Pros: "TV, music, and Movies were available at no additional charge. The passed out headphones also at no charge. All of the movies were available with subtitles in many languages. The were snacks, a dinner and breakfast plus a beverage service in between. Pillows and blankets were provided."
Cons: "I would suggest travelers bring their own headphones. Although the ones given out were functional the sound quality was poor."

Cons: "If flights get cancelled there ought to be some responsibility to help passengers meet their schedule and not the least cost option for the airline with no care for passenger priorities. Even if it means paying to get them a seat on another airline like the old days"

Cons: "Flight to TOR was delayed due to multiple maintenance issues on >1 aircraft in TOR, so it didn't leave for BWI until past the original departure time. Needless to say, we missed our connection to Paris. Agents were great in re-ticketing us thru LHR to CDG, gave us info on who to talk to to get bags realigned, went to that agent who said system would automatically update the bags. Upon arrival in Paris, bags were not there, will arrive on the flight today from TOR. Since we're going to Normandy we are driving out to CDG, to pick up bags versus waiting at the apartment for a delivery."
