Boarding was easy and efficient

We paid an extra $100 for each ticket for premium seating, supposed to be a step above the basic coach ticket with more leg room (my partner and I are 6'+), but our seats were no different than anyone else's. In fact, the seating chart the agent provided for selection when on the call to add this was not for this plane, as it turned out. We will be requesting a refund!

2 hour delay because of rain west jet and porter were on time but air canada delayed My seat was apparently broken had a window seat with no one else in my row and then I was placed ina Center seat although other options were open The attendant comes on the air and says they need to manually start the engine one by one because the electric start to make it easy was not working All and all not a pleasant experience at all

My mothers flight from Toronto to Vancouver was late so Air Canada cancelled the connecting reservation to Smithers, resulting in an overnight stay in Vancouver. However, the luggage made it on the flight so there was probably enough time to make the connection. They did provide her with vouchers for overnight accommodation and meals. I had requested wheelchair assistance as she is 80 and was traveling alone, but she had to argue with the staff at Air Canada in Vancouver to get assistance, even after producing a letter from her doctor stating the request. She says Air Canada is the worst airline she flies on.

This is hands down the best airline to fly to and from Canada.

I wish the food for purchase options had better vegan and vegetarian selections.

Good entertainment system and lots of selection, great food. Standard service by accommodating crew both in the air and on the ground.

Not the most comfy seats on the old plane, but no major complaints.

The premium seating we paid extra for because we need leg room (my partner and I are 6'+) was the first row behind the 1st class seperation wall...so no way to extend legs by placing feet under the seat in front. Not very comfortable or worth $100 IMO.
