Pros: "Good leg space, friendly crew, excellent plane."
Cons: "This is for ALL airlines: It takes so long to get off the plane!"
Pros: "I REQUESTED vegetarian meal and did not get, just veggies salad was given and staff was just saying they are sorry, that is all they can do,, Not even a decent dessert even after I REQUESTED again for it,, don't know if I will travel again with QATAR"
Cons: "HOSPITAL LIKE FOOD GIVEN,"
Pros: "I enjoyed my flight,it was a smooth trip from Doha to Manila, the Cabin Crew received adequate training on taking care of people, as a professional nurse who is use to taking care of others ,I see someone else looking after me and I really appreciate their efforts. Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"
Cons: "I enjoyed their meal and services wanted to be Oliver Twist"
Cons: "Passengers in front of you slamming their seats back that crushed and spilled my food all over me. Happened 3 times!!!"
Cons: "I am a very experienced traveller. I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."
Pros: "Good service, clean aircraft, friendly crew"
Cons: "Qatar Airways Asian vegetarian hot meal is not as good as some other airlines. It lacks the asian grains, light spices etc."
Cons: "My suitcase was broken"
Cons: "Well I had 13 hours of layover. I was extremely tired and sleepy."
Cons: "Good service"
Pros: "The entertainment console is dismal"
Cons: "Comfort of seat size has shrunk!!! Good grief."
Pros: "excellent service always a pleasure to fly with QATAR Airways"
Pros: "Everything was perfect! From boarding the flight, decor, hospitality, clean, comfortable and my special meal selection was always right. The flight attendants greeted me before meals and insured me that they received my meal order."
Pros: "The kit was really helpful for the really long flight. Good service!, food was better than our previous flight"
Cons: "Took a long time to get the trays after meals (at least 30-40mins) , didn't offer smaller snacks such as cookies between meals,"
Cons: "Poor service, didn't get to sit with rest of our party, food average, overbooked flight, no room for luggage storage."
Pros: "The airport has some inconvenient that thier waiting room there is no bathroom and water once you behind the security check no life access so people who has illes there is no life support like an water and bathroom i was thinking it is like usa. All the middle East airport has some inconvenient they built good airport but important is mixed and there should be protest international for travel convenient"
Cons: "There is bathroom and water access in the airport"
Cons: "The flight departure from Dar was moved up an hour and the congestion at the airport made it close. Also I need a name tag on a checked piece of luggage. When I asked, I was told that none were available. The check in person was not pleasant or helpful. I also had to watch to make sure that the luggage labels were attached to be sure that they would make it to Chicago. Once on the plane there was an unrudy boy sitting in front of us jumping in his seat, never wearing his seat belt kicking the seat, turning on the light beating on the tray table, calling the flight attendant. The adult ignored the child through the flight. It was one of the worse experiences I have had on a plane. I would have to think very hard before I fly Qatar again."
Pros: "The professionalism of the staff"
Cons: "No comment"
Pros: "First of all, I want to preface this by saying that virtually every airline is better than the major ones working in the US (American, United, and Delta), and Qatar Airways is amongst this number. The entertainment selection was excellent, the best of any flight I've ever been on. The flight attendants were excellent, again, much better than those on American carriers (I am American, FYI)."
Cons: "The food was terrible. Of course, we know this about airline food, BUT I have been on Qatar Airways flights with GOOD food in the past, so I know it can be better. Also, I sat in the baby section, which also happens to be where they put long-legged people. This is no one's fault, but suffice to say, do NOT sit next to 4 5-month olds for a 15-hr flight! Interestingly, since all flight attendants were women, about 50% of the flight did listen to them since there were many conservative Arabs onboard from Qatar or Saudi Arabia (i.e., those who are taught not to listen to or respect women). This made for some frustrating sites to witness but it's obviously not the airline's fault. Poor women!"
Pros: "everything went perfect , tank you KAYAK"
Cons: "Almost missed my flight. I had to take a bus, go through a transfer check, and then take a train to the gate, which got me there so late (even with running) that they were calling my name (and a few others) over the loud speaker."
Pros: "The crew were so nice. But flights are very long, and coach is incredibly crowded & uncomfortable. Beverage service is frequent and generous with a good variety of fruit juices, soft drinks, red or white wine, etc."
Cons: "Using the video screen is a mystery tour - badly programmed. The Doha airport is an architect's Ego Trip and badly laid out, extremely long walks to get anywhere, ferocious prices for anything (carry snacks for your layover!). The smoking lounge doesn't even have a proper exhaust system so smoke permeates the terminal in the vicinity. Plus 4 bar stools hogged by rude, arrogant young Arab men who have NO respect or consideration for elders, disabled, etc. Incident with boarding passenger in Saigon was VERY badly handled & delayed departure over an hour, risking connections for a number of passengers. They cannot handle things well, yet crew is basically nice, kind. Food is AWFUL; saving grace is fresh fruit, roll & butter, yoghurt - the nice little side dishes."
Pros: "The flight crew was great. They were very kind."
Cons: "The biggest problem with my flight was it was very crowded so it was hard to get comfortable for such a long flight. I wish I can afford first class but I can't."
Pros: "Quick and easy boarding and decent crew."
Cons: "Food wasn't great, but edible. No options for a vegan who didn't choose a vegan meal as the flight was booked last minute. Unhealthy food."
Pros: "High quality gluten free meals (best I've had on Qatar Airways)."
Cons: "Seating needs to be more spacious."
Pros: "The food was amazing and so were the staff, would definitely fly Qatar again and recommend it to others!"
Cons: "The layover is very short, my first flight from LAX to Doha was 40 mins late so I barely made last call from Doha to Dubai and my bags didn't make it. I did however have my luggage delivered the next day to where I was staying in Al Ain for free so that was great!"
Pros: "Overall - Flight was good."
Cons: "Food quality should be improved. Most of the staff were very courteous, except on two minor request. I guess the stewardess was a little stress due a very demanding passenger, but should not be reflected to other customers."
Pros: "Business class is top notch in Qatar airways. From the moment you get in the Business Cabin, you start feeling the great service onboard. The crew is great, the seats are very comfortable, and the food is very tasty along with the wine pairing. Overall, the experience was well worth it!"
Cons: "The problem was the boarding in Miami International airport, it was quite disorganized even for business class, but more so for economical class."
Pros: "Qatar airways always seems to handle busy flights and crammed seats calmly, efficiently and on time. It's a long haul - 16+ hours, and if you have to go economy as a 6 foot tall person, their seats recline well, seemingly better than many. You have to plan your long layovers, and they do offer assistance with hotel transfers, but they don't advertise this very clearly - so do your homework before flying!"
Pros: "***You're asking me about a flight that hasn't happened yet. I'm rating my flight FROM LOS ANGELES TO DOHA, 10/23/2016, here: Flight attendants were very good, helpful, gracious. For a long flight the restrooms stayed clean."
Cons: "The food was over cooked, and lacked freshness. I had to have the same meal twice because they ran out of the omelettes. Next time I will try Emirates."
