Delta crew member in JFK was rude and unhelpful. The second agent (who ultimately booked our standby tickets for our original connecting flight) was more pleasant."

Pros: "I enjoy being a Gold SkyMiles member, which gives me the perk of being in priority boarding. I also enjoy seating in Delta comfort, especially on long flights such as the one to LA. Delta has greatly improved on keeping their passengers entertained by having the latest movies to watch, as well as, satellite television. Additionally, the mobile app is excellent since it allows you to check in and track your luggage."
Cons: "Delta needs to improve their food and snack choices. The snack choices (cookies, chips, fruit, pretzels) wasn't horrible but could be better. As far as food to purchase, Delta's menu is extremely limited and not worth the price of purchasing."

Pros: "Upon arriving in Minneapolis-St. Paul, it was a struggle to determine whether or not my bags had made it, whether or not I needed to collect them from baggage claim due to the cancellations/delays, and if I was even going to be able to transfer my ticket. Flight arrived late in the evening when most flights were basically complete for the day. Luckily, I happened upon a red-eye arrival, and spoke to an agent at that gate (Taj). Taj was without a doubt, THE BEST GATE AGENT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN MY 40+ YEARS OF TRAVELLING!! I explained my situation to him, and he immediately asked to see my travel info. He proceeded to get me on a flight much earlier than originally anticipated, upgraded me to Premium fare status, and did his best to re-route my luggage (which he informed me was still sitting in ATLANTA 18 hours after having left there...) - how does someone get on a flight, and their check-in get noted, but their luggage does not get put on said flight?? Things that make you go hmmmmm.... All that aside...I will be planning a trip to Minneapolis-St. Paul specifically to take a gift of appreciation to Taj! Well done on this end Delta - Taj is an excellent example of intelligent customer service."
Cons: "Last minute notifications of delays/cancellations. Luggage was not placed on my original departing flight from Atlanta 18 HOURS EARLIER...not cool Delta. As a result, I did not receive my luggage for another 2 1/2 days ."

Pros: "I like that Delta is efficient and the service is consistent. I pick Delta because I know what I’m going to get . I like that I can choose the entertainment I want and that everything is at my fingertips including flight info, food and beverage options, etc. it’s relatively comfortable but it’s not near the level of Virgin America or JetBlue."
Cons: "I’m not sure if it is due to LAX construction but it is chaotic at the airport. It is super confusing where you need to go, drop bags, etc. the weird part is Check in was in terminal 3 and gate at terminal 2. That is a long walk back and forth. There is probably a more efficient way of doing this. Besides that, they need to do a better job communicating that seats are changing and not Reggy before boarding. Though I can understand it can get crazy because people will panic but it’s not great heading up to enter in not knowing if you are sitting in window when you picked it for a reason. Otherwise, everything went smoothly."

The flight also boarded and departed mostly on time, and the onboard wifi was great."

I was stuck in the last row, back of the plane & had seen other people with coffee. The flight attendant told me no, I would have to wait for 3 more hours for coffee at breakfast. A smiling face showed up within minutes & asked if I wanted coffee. She told me that when she hears someone else say "no" that she thinks it should always be "yes". She was the African American flight attendant (wish I would have got her name). She brought me coffee, offered tylenol & checked in on me again later."

Poor selections on the movies. No charging stations in the seat. This plane was very noisy so I was really glad to have noise cancelling headphones. Very expensive to select seats as it was bought through a non-Delta site to get the desired connections."

If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

If you have 2 beverages on your tray and your neighbor needs to get out, you need a third person to assist (impossible to get out of your seat with 2 beverages in your hands (we tried it!) - just too narrow (even for a European Teenager) 7. It was not clearly visible who boards where. An Economy couple standing patiently in line at the Wong boarding line was sent back to the end of the long economy line - although NOBODY was in the business line"

The gate was closed 10 minutes early and they would not let us on. There were 17 of us, 10 of which were children. They would not let us on BUT we’re able to spend 30 extra minutes at the gate, not on the tarmac, to remove all of our luggge off the plane. It would of taken them less than 10 minutes to let us in the flight. I don’t even know what to say about the complete lack of any competence."

Can write an essay on my whole journey."

Pros: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."

Pros: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Cons: "Despite the fact that I knew I would miss my connecting flight in Frankfurt because of the delay in Switzerland, the gate agent had no control to schedule me on an alternative flight. I missed my flight coming out because the connection was so tight and the Frankfurt airport so large so I tried to adjust things in Geneva to be proactive. The agent called his manager who said he couldn't do anything. As a result, I did indeed miss my flight in Frankfurt and ended up having to spend the night in Frankfurt. I got back 20 hours later than I should have, and all because Lufthansa doesn't empower their gate agents to use common sense to help their customers."

Cons: "There was no food for sale on a 4 hour flight from Hamilton to Calgary the flight left at 6:30 a.m., meaning that one had to be at the airport by 5:30 a.m., and for me leave where I was staying an hour before that. It was a connecting flight in Calgary with almost no time in the airport so I didn't get to eat until I arrived in Nanaimo at 1:15 p.m., Ontario time. for health reasons - I'm diabetic, I wish I had known that no "real" food was available. I got a snack which I read had 50 calories, and I got a juice which I normally won't drink to maintain blood sugar levels."

Cons: "It could have been the perfect trip, but I am not sure why SAS baggage handling is so mediocre. In both the flights from EWR to OSLO and back, every aspect of the trip was super, except for the wait for baggage. In Oslo, I estimate having waited at least a half an hour at the carousel before the bags started showing up, and the same in Newark. We had long cleared Immigration, which normally is not a speedy process, and yet still had to wait at least 20 minutes for the FIRST bag to appear on the carousel. Most annoying, particularly after a relatively long flight, and especially for transfer passengers who needed to recheck their bags to continue to other destinations."

I was waiting for the flight at the OSLO airport waiting for the flight to LONDON. I had ample time to work on my computer. In the big room by the gate there was only one spot where I found three electrical sockets hanging from a pillar or post. To my dismay none worked. My plug would fall off from each. To document, I took the pictures of the useless sockets... I complained to the lady at the boarding desk (she left before the SAS staff moved in), she did not even care... This experience frustrated me and turned an otherwise pleasant trip into a bitter one. Please install some working sockets in your waiting room! We are force to wait a total of more then a hour to board them and stuck on plane. And ofcuase when we landed. My SAS go luggage is last to come out because the late arrival passengers luggage all come out ahead. It is a most terrible experience I ever had with a SAS flight. Might as well consider flying norwegian airline!"

Lady at the boarding gate tried to help and finally managed to send me and my bag in the same flight. Even bigger disappointment was that I booked a business class seat and paid three times more money then a normal economy ticket, there wasn't any business class seat and all seats were occupied in the front rows. Staff was generally rude and not willing to help."

Cons: "The customs agent was slower than slow.. This is no exaggeration -/everyone on our flight, the following flight, and a few of the flight after that went throug the other line before we did. We do not know if she is training , being rediculously conscientious, being too social or a power/control thing. We had plenty of time, I feel sorry for people who had tight connections. LOTS of people switched lines but we didn't know it would continue to be rediculous. There are stairs to climb from the gate which will be a problem for people with any physical issues ( bad knees). The plane took off late and this time we were nervous with a tight connection in Stockholm Location of Gate display is slower than most airports and we were told It changes at the last minute. We will avoid the Oslo airport in the future."
