And one of the flight attendants was aloof and snappy."

Pros: "Flight was on time. Process of going through customs in Halifax instead of Newark was very efficient. I didn't order food or use inflight entertainment."

Cons: "Ran out of overhead space so all of boarding group 5 had to check their bags. Normally not an issue, however it was a late night flight so adding extra wait time at the airport for luggage was not ideal. Entertainment buttons on my seat did not work either. Would have paid for the movies and TV selections but I couldn't even hit submit when I swiped my credit card."

Cons: "The flight attendant told me that I did not need to collect my bag in Toronto and that it would automatically be sent onward to Halifax. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS. All United passengers arriving in Canada MUST manually gather their luggage at baggage claim in Toronto and clear customs manually. ONLY Air Canada has this automatic option. Even if the United flight has an Air Canada code share United passengers MUST clear customs manually. How hard is this for flight attendants to understand?"

Cons: "At the boarding gate over 30 people were in line to get a seat number. I thought I had successfully selected my aisle seat online but was arbitrarily given a middle seat. I tend to use the washroom often. I had to climb over a sleeping passenger many times, without waking him up. One gentleman had some serious problems there but it was clear he was not getting any resolution. he was obviously very very frustrated. Syrupy sweet noodles?"
